Dragula was the name of the drag racer vehicle from the show The Munsters.
I bought this CD a week after it xame out.....i proudly showed it to my friend.....he thought Dragula was a about a cross dressing vampire
@@weedthepeople2795 😂😂
@@weedthepeople2795 LMAO, sounds like the plot of a new Netflix show.
@@hazi5961 Nah sounds like a spin off from What We Do In The Shadows,
Word I believe Rob Zombie is supposed to be directing a Munsters movie 🍿
Lex is rocking out and Brad looks like he’s been handed a test he didn’t know about and didn’t study for.
I think he got encapsulated by this crazy ass music video
you want him to put on a show? He's genuine. So is she. I'd rather people be authentic than show false enthusiasm.
Did you see him with Manson's Beautiful People lol She schooled him lol
Lol 😅
So business as usual.
Lex seems like a ton of fun! Honestly love her enthusiasm
Aww ❤️😍🙏🏽
Seriously,Lex seems like she’d be a cool person to know.
@@BradAndLex My first thought was "her eyes are perfect for listening to Rob Zombie"...lol Check out his band White Zombie, Thunder Kiss 65.
....and shes smokin hot. I hope that doesn't get takin wrong. Just sayin..
I think Lex looks like a Young Halle Berry!!!
Lex was all into this one.. I love her and watching her facial expressions when the music hits her. Brad just sits there as Lex is bouncing all over the place. Love you guys
@John Galt Dough yes is he a very lucky man
Rob Zombie is actually a very chill, highly intelligent dude.
I met him at a movie poster convention before White Zombie really popped off. Just as a shopper , not a guest at the con. Really cool guy.
Thee chillest
I have also heard that he is very friendly with fans; autograph friendly; unlike other celebrities!
You should watch his movies.
@@alangray2192 I am a fan of his music , and have seen him in concert several times. But his movies are pretty polarizing in the horror fandom. Some people love him , but a lot can't stand him as a director. Despite liking his music , I can't stand his films , personally.
That whole album "Hellbilly Deluxe" is amazing
I loved this album from the first time I heard it 😆🤘🏽
Man with taste.
Yes!! I still listen to it today!! Bought that record the day it came out and still love it!!
"Super-charger Heaven," "Superbeast," "Feel So Numb," "Living Dead Girl."
Also Rob Zombie appeared as a playable character in the Twisted Metal video game franchise (think demolition derby death match) and his vehicle was called Dragula.
Yup twisted metal 4!
Cant forget "Demonoid Phenomenon"
GREAT suggestions. 👍
"he writes the songs, he writes the songs, hahahaha!" Twisted Metal 4 and he did write quite a few songs for Twisted Metal.
I believe Dragula was taken from the Munsters TV show. Rob says he was a big fan of The Munsters.
Rob zombie is the greatest concert i have ever been to. If u ever have a chance to see him live....well worth the money.
Energy from the being to the end.
Hey Brad and Lex, Rob Zombie before going on his own, was in the band White Zombie. You should really dig into that. If you want recommendations, do Thunderkiss 65 or Black Sunshine. Love you guys🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Electric Head pt 1 and pt 2
Yeaa more human than human o algo así
Welcome To Planet Motherfucker/ Psychoholic Slag is also nice
Blood, Milk and Sky is great!!
No doubt!
Dragula was the hot rod from the TV show, the Munsters. Rob Zombie is fascinated by old horror films. Even the name White Zombie, which was the band he formed that made him famous, was taken from an old movie.
I just absolutely LOVE when Lex starts to rock out and gets into these head bangers. YOU GO GIRL!! \m/
Dragula was a name of a drag car that was built for the show The Munsters was built out of a coffin. Check out Living dead girl, meet the creeper, Demon speeding. Also check out his first band White Zombie. Thunderkiss 65, More human than human and more.
There is another custom car built for Munsters besides Dragula. It is known as Munsters Koach. Both cars were designed and built by legendary custom car builder, George Barris. Barris' company also build classic Batmobile too.
@@MrTech226 yes I know. One was built as the family car and one was a single seat drag car. Barris also gave us the original Batmobile, the family truckster for Vacation and K.I.T.T. for Knght rider. Not sure about the Monkeemobile but I think he built that too.
@@metalloadedbakedpotato4382 I loved both cars. I wonder if Rob would rent both cars even though they are classic museum pieces or build new cars
@@MrTech226 it would be fun to drive them. Just looked up the Monkeemobile. It was built by Dean Jeffries. He built the Black Beauty for the Green Hornet and the Devil car in the movie The Car. Now I feel the need to remember and find out who built the cars for tv and movies. A rabbit hole I go exploring. 😁
@@metalloadedbakedpotato4382 Funny, that you saying Monkees car because I have met Davy Jones while he was living in my town in Florida. I became friends with him until his death in 2012. I believe that Rob will use one of classic cars for his movie.
You have to love her energy! It’s contagious. Digging the contacts, too…
0:25. This is so cute, she ready to rock! 🤘🏽
He makes horror movies as well, all his projects revolve around that theme.
"Dig through the ditches and burn through the witches, I slam in the back of my dragula." The dragula is the Munster's mobile-looking car he's driving in the video.
She gets it. It’s ALL about the music. Love it
To answer your questions Brad and Lex, he did indeed say in that one verse "Dead, I Am The Rat, Feast Upon The Cat, Tender Is The Fur, Dying As You Purr"
As for the chous:
"Dig Through The Ditches And Burn Through The Witches, I Slam In The Back Of My Dragula"
Dragula was actually a reference to the Class comedy series "The Munsters" or more specifically, a TV movie based on the show, where the family patriarch, Herman Munster, built the dragster out of a coffin and dubbed it "Dragula", but the car Rob Zombie's using in the video was the Munsters family car, the Munster Koach, which was built from a horse drawn Hearse, both vehicles were built by legendary car builder Chuck Barris
George Barris is the car designer
yes It was George barris he also built the Monkees GTO
@@stevehedrick5400 and original Batmobile
@@stevehedrick5400 and the car from the movie "The Car"
And.... y’all know all the cool correct info, but nobody’s explaining the lyrics to this couple as pertains to drag racing itself, ie the witch, digging, grabbing, slamming etc.
Think lex might be the most loveable and coolest person on youtube. 🤘🤘
Definitely should listen to some White Zombie- Thunder kiss ‘65
Yesssss!!!
No doubt!! absolutely his best ever even though was under white zombie
Oh, absolutely
Without a doubt. Read my mind!!
One of my favorite songs ever 👍
Lex: "was it like CoD Zombies"
Me: "nothing is like CoD zombies"
For real tho. 😆
I was front of stage crew for the Copenhell 2019 Rob Zombie show. It was an amazing show. During the show Rob Zombie jumped down in the pit but there was no way back up, so I sat down and signalled him to use my shoulder to get back up on the stage which he did.
That's awesome dude!
As it happens, someone actually filmed the show on an mobile and put it on youtube. More human than human is the song where he jumps in the pit. At the end you can see Rob climbing back on the stage. You can't see me gving him my shoulder to step on though.
ua-cam.com/video/pJdEx_SPX2A/v-deo.html
As soon as I saw the title, I just knew that Lex would be jumping up and down to this one.
Zombies Ate My Neighbors!!!! THE NOSTALGIA!!! You're totally right about the music being somewhat similar in the beginning too lol
Always considered Rob Zombie to be the Alice Cooper of modern times ... a live horror show set to music.
Dragula is the Munster's car in the 60's show the Munster's.
Watching Lex just getting exited about some beats and riffs just made my day. Love this energy.
Rob Zombie has a very neat backstory, he's nothing like what you'd first think he is. Basically the most bad-ass carny on the planet. I finally remembered a song I think you'd two would appreciate: In between by Beartooth. Very gritty, intense, and passionate. It's a song that leaves you feeling better about life and who doesn't want that? Even if you don't react to it, I can't recommend that song or Beartooth, enough.
Love Beartooth! Hey have you ever heard of Attack Attack! ? I'm pretty sure the lead singer of beartooth sang on one of there albums! Attack Attack are a great listen!
Carnie/Hippie/Hillbilly/Horror Fan
Before he made it as a musician he worked on the TV show Pee Wee's Playhouse.
This shit cracks me up. Homeboy is looking for meaning and enlightenment. Homegirl is crushing grooves and busting moves.
She gets it. Just a good rock album.
"Dragula" is a portmanteau of "Dracula" and "drag racer", as in a type of car. I think there was also a model kit in the 1970's that showed Dracula in a drag racer...
I live for Lex reacting to all this metal
Loved Rob Zombie since the White Zombie days. Brings back high school nostalgia for me. I really do love watching reactions to music many have loved for decades now! 😍 Love you guys always!
This song is always funny to me. I once had a friend who hated the song because of how "evil" it was, until I explained to him that Rob is singing about Herman Munster's car, the Dragula. Yes, its about a Halloween themed car. From a old TV show.
This song was also in the film the Matrix, a remix of the track is playing when Neo goes to the nightclub at the start of the film.
You two make a great team. Lots of people give Lex props on all your videos because her enthusiasm (and often her off-the-cuff insight) is really infectious and fun. But Brad, you're a real one too. The amount of stuff you catch on a first listen to songs you've never heard is really impressive, and honestly the way you listen to a new song is very similar to how I listen to a song. Also, you do *really* well as sort of the "host". A lot of the fun lines that Lex spits out come from your "interviewing" and prompting, and I think people don't give you enough props for that.
Gotta do Thunderkiss now. :) Classic White Zombie.
2:43 first time I’ve ever seen someone do a form of the “Carlton” to a Rob Zombie 🤣🤣
“Zombies ate my neighbors”
Lol that was always in rotation as kid. Especially two player co op
This guy was one of the hardest working live acts I've ever seen. Amazing show.
been wanting to see him
Dead I am the rat, feast upon the cat
Tender is the fur, dying as you burn
Lex's smile on her face when this song started...wow...priceless! Keep it up guys, love the reactions and couchcasts!
Used to listen to this track years ago. Couldn't find it anywhere or remember the name. Great to hear again. Fantastic. Thanks guys.
Yes!!! He always puts on a great live concert ☺️ I've seen him so many times and I love it every time !
You guys are just too fun to watch.
I haven't gotten much sleep lately from binge watching all their vids. Such a perfect couple.
Anytime I wanna good smile I watch first time hearing (insert metal band/artist here). Works everytime!
Thumbs up for Lex's energy. Absolutely an amazing fun time.
This song just crushed. The aggressive percussive sound makes for a great head banger.
Zombies ate my neighbors! What a throw back Brad! More Rob Zombie for sure. He covered Blitzkrieg Bop too and that's a fun one. Black Sunshine is great though too
They just released a remaster July 29th on Steam for PC and also for last gen consoles.
@@bothellkenmore good to know. I have a ps4 still so I'll look it up
Love the energy that is brought to each reaction.
You gotta watch his movies, start with “house of 1000 corpses” and then “devils rejects”….it’s modern horror at its ABSOLUTE BEST he’s a great musician but an absolutely brilliant film maker
and 3 from hell, you gotta complete the trilogy
New movie next year. The munsters🤘
@@Brandi6666 cant wait to see how that turns out.
Devils Rejects one of my favorite horror movies!! so good!! tooty fucking Fruity!!
Stay away from his Halloween movies though. They're absolute ass.
I appreciate you guys channel! I love the dynamic of the lyrical analyst that Brad is paired with Lex's innate ability to vibe to music. Your content rocks!
I absolutely love Lex’s energy
Lex is boppin' through this song. Love it!
Amazing! Black Label Society fans we need to get Brad&Lex to react to BLS! 🤟🏽
Hellyeah
Fully back this!!
@@bryanholmdohl4382 what song would you like to see them react to? I can thinks of 10 lol but I’m not sure which one would be best for them to hear 1st.
@@akachurak what would be the best song for them to react to first?
@@SterlsTube2 Stillborn for sure, Counterfeit God is also a banger. i'd suggest In This River but i wouldnt want to ruin Lex's groove.
this song was featured in the movie "The Matrix" in the scene where Trinity and Neo meet in the night club.
Brad and Lex, FYI, Down Rodeo is pronounced Ro-Day-O as in Rodeo Dr. in Beverly Hills. Love you guys, I'll be in the comment sections trying to do what I can for you.
Aww ❤️🙏🏽🙏🏽
@@BradAndLex I'm sure there are MANY others out there just like me.
Lex is a headbanger4 sure.Brad getting there.Love you 2.
I always wish he'd do more funky stuff. He does a cover of 'Brick House' proves how funky he gets.
Wait, what?
White zombie was my first concert in 95. Never looked back. Yall are awesome! My favorite reaction page!
Currently having Twisted Metal flashback
thats where it all started for me.....meet the creeper
Me and my son would play that shit for hours. Lol
Am I the only one having flashbacks to the Sled Storm game?
The car is Dragula. Rob is a rock god, successful Movie writer and producer and all round great guy
Every time I see "first time hearing..." I'm like were these kids born in the wild or what? Here's a fun exercise. Play some stuff you have heard. I am curious if I will be enlightened. Ya, I ripped on the British Rap stuff. Ken's sorry. Do it, do it for me, do it for your Country DAMIT! Love ya kids.
I thought the same thing but then I remember I’m the same way except opposite kind of. I don’t explore music outside of metal, rock and goth music. My boyfriend was once absolutely gobsmacked at the fact that I asked him who this Travis Scott guy was when everyone was freaking out about his McDonalds Travis Scott meal. I had never heard of him before but he said apparently everyone knows about him so idk I relate to them in that way😭
@@helens.undead666 I listen to everything at least a little. Abba, Beethoven, to zz top, to Tom Macdonald, to Iggy Pop.
I love her giggle. Reminds me of Baby in house of 1000 corpses
I love watching Lex get all excited. She reminds me of a Bevis and Butthead cartoon when they start dancing
"heh heh! yeah, she's cool! heh heh!"
Rob gets tons of influence from old movies and series and this was about a car in the Munsters called DRAG-U-LA (Rob is actually working on a Munsters film as we speak so perfect song choice today!)
Dragula was a custom made dragster for the character of Grandpa on the 60s tv show "The Munsters". It looked like a coffin. Totally wild!!
This song is a banger. Also, a lot of nostalgia. Rob Zombie is proof of the powers of darkness. Rich, famous, beautiful loving wife and long life. Who needs false gods.
I would party and listen to music with these two all day.
Dragula was the name of the drag racer vehicle from the show The Munsters and it was used in the official music video
I love watching Lex! She seems so bouncy and full of life and fun. Not to mention one of the most gorgeous smile I have ever seen. You got a good there bro!
More Human Than Human was Rob Zombie's big Disco/Metal hit.
2 of my favourite artists with a reaction. Rob Zombie and Manson.
You guys are by far my favorite reaction folks on UA-cam,l am not tech savvy because I am old, how can I get recommendations to you guys ?
Rob zombie is a phenomenal artist and his performance live is amazing
The name of the song, Dragula, comes from the dragster that he drives in the video which is from the original Munsters TV show. It is named Dragula. Rob Zombie was a huge fan of the show to the point that he just remade it last year.
Check out "Thunderkiss 1965" by White Zombie (Rob Zombie band)
Hell yeah as I love that dirty riff
Yoo this song live was absolutely unforgettable!! Me and my friends had a blast with the crowd they are such good performers! They was back in 2010
I can only hope Lex is a teacher or something. She needs to be shaping minds. The world needs more of that raw enthusiasm.
One of my all time favorite Rob Zombie songs
I was a big fan of his song "More human than human" back when had White Zombie (90s rock). Funny thing, if you know Powerman 5000, that singer is Rob's brother. Both into rock, but really different personas. Rob calls himself a "Hellbilly", and Powerman is more into futuristic sci-fi stuff (Powerman's big hit was Supernova way back).
PM5000, When Worlds Collide
The Dragula was the car from the Munsters tv show. Rob actually owns it. He's a horror fanatic who makes his own movies as well and is actually making the new Munsters movie at the moment.
Man I just can't help but loving Lex jumping around digging the music
Try Living Dead Girl.... Lex's energy is contagious!
One of the best to listen live. He has saved a concert that went terrible before him...He was worth it
Like some others have said, Rob Zombie wa the lead singer for White Zombie, before going solo. Some if my favorite White Zombie songs are Blood milk and sky, More human than human, Electric head part 1, Thunderkiss 65
Years ago, we had a local “haunted trail “ at Halloween time. It was a trail through a small woods. People would basically set up a room on the trail with whatever their theme was to scare people. A dj would play scary music while people were going through. When he played this song, I got so amped up. Also, it was on a snowmobile racing game that my wife and I played back in the day.
Dragula is the car and yes… Rob Zombie songs are bangers. You all should check out “Demon Speeding”, “Superbeast”, “Thunderkiss ‘65”, “Never Gonna Stop” and “Foxy Foxy”. Great reaction!
My cousin said they used to blast this song on the airplane before they jumped out of the plane during airborne training.
Zombie is great, both solo and in White Zombie. Dragula is the car, in the video, from the Munsters tv show. Great reaction! 🤘🏻
Rob Zombie produced a couple movies as well. Remake of Halloween and Land of a Thousand Corpses, The Devil's Rejects, and 3 From Hell.
Dragula was the name of the hot rod on the old TV show "The Munsters". Interesting note, Rob was a production assistant on the Saturday morning kids show "Pee Wee's Playhouse"
There’s one thing you have to understand about Rob Zombie. He’s a horror movie fanatic. Specifically, the classic B&Ws up until the 80s. I know that seems obvious, but his whole persona revolves around horror. He even makes movies (Halloween remake, House of 1000 Corpses and Devils Rejects) And he’s most recently working on a remake to the classic horror comedy sitcom The Munsters, which has a car in it named after the title of this song. If you want more of his solo stuff, check out Pu$$y Liquor and a remake of the classic Brick House, he did with the one and only Lionel Richie.
That is one thing I think I can agree with is that White Zombie/Rob Zombie songs have that groovy feel.
I heard this song for the first time on the radio in 1998. I got instant "Halloween-y" vibes, as Lex might say. This album turned out to be THE rock album of that year at my high school. We were all addicted to it...jocks, cheerleaders, loners, geeks.....everyone.
The original Dragula is a custom car by George Barris used in the Munsters. Rob Zombie is a huge horror movie geek
Lex is so fun to watch when jamming😊
He is also an awesome writter, director, and producer. He did House of 1000 corpses trilogy and 2007 version of Halloween as well as many other movies. An Hellbilly Delux is an amazing album. He was also the lead singer for White Zombie.
Rob loved a show THE MUNSTER'S back in the day's. This song is about that. And I heard he's making a movie of THE MUNSTER'S.
This was an awesome Rob Zombie song and I gotta say I'm loving the energy in that room
Rob Zombie also had Count Kustoms build him a custom truck with
a cool Rob Zombie mural paint scheme on it ,that episode ,you will
see what Rob Zombie actually looks like ,as he does hang out with
the Count in Vegas!
Great reaction & review you two!..👍👍
Saw these guys back in 1999. I was as high as a kite and all I remember is the heat from the pyrotechnics.
