Hi Trayce, I would say it's fairly easy to remove from the original City Mini GT. The seat fabric is attached by press studs. I think the tricky part is getting everything back on correctly. There are great videos on UA-cam showing how to remove the fabrics, I'll find one for you. - Rachel.
Which stroller would you recommend that’s comparable in size and features but has a parent facing option? I love how compact it is and that it has the 3 wheels so that it can go on more terrain than the typical stroller but not having the parent facing option is a deal breaker for us.
I feel the same way. I love the City Mini GT, but I personally need a parent facing seat too. Have you seen the ABC Designs Salsa 3 prams? They're an all terrain, 3 wheeler, that has a seat that can forward or parent facing. Though they're not particularly compact.
Hi, can I use this for my 4-month old grandson just for walking and not for jogging? He's a bit above average in size and has been able to hold his head up since he was a month old.
Hi Millie, thank you for your question. Yes, that is correct. The seat for the City Mini GT/GT2 has been approved for newborns, so it's perfectly fine for your 4 month old grandson. I hope that helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions. - Rachel
Hi Neela, I'm sorry to hear your having issues with your City Mini GT. The only thing I could suggest is pushing in the wheel release mechanism beside each wheel when sliding them back in? Otherwise if you're located in Australia I'd recommend contacting The Amazing Baby Company - they are the supplier of Baby Jogger in Australia and amazing for trouble shooting issues. Good luck!
There is a standing ride on board that can attach to the back to accommodate two children. Otherwise if you're looking for a pram that takes two seats, then the Baby Jogger City Select/Lux is a great option.
Thank you so much! I was desperate, I was trying to open my daughter's stroller because my 1 year old grandson wanted to go for a ride and I couldn't figure out how to open it up. I did see it in the video after you pointed out😅
Glad to have helped! You definitely wouldn't be the first grandparent (or parent!) to get stuck trying to work out how to open a pram with a fold latch hidden on the side!
I don't think it's a huge issue that it's not a standing fold, because the way it folds it's not like you have to fold it to the floor and then bend over and pick it up. Just fold it and then lift straight into the boot. But if a standing fold is important to you then my understanding is that the City Mini GT 2 does have a standing fold.
I love this stroller, I just use the car seat attachment for parent facing option, so far.
Thank you for your comment It is such a lovely pram. - Rachel
Thank you for the video, is it easy to remove cover/seating to wash at all?

Hi! is the foot rest adjustable?
Not on this version of the City Mini Gt. Though it is on the newer/current model - the City Mini GT 2 .

@@ParentingCentral Thanks so much! We got the City Mini now and can't wait for our grandson to try it!
Hello! Can you please explain how the rear wheels work - I seem to be able to pull them out quite easily when they are in unlocked mode...

Can a bassinet and/or extra seat be added to the City GT mini when baby number 2 arrives?

How do you open this thing up
Release the latch on the side and flick the pram out. I do show it quickly around 5:15-5:40 in the video.

hi, did it annoy you ever that it doesn't stand on its own when folded up?

IT stands if you put it up against a wall
Can someone explain about this standing fold? What do you mean it doesn't stand on it's own when folded up? Are we talking about the detachable pram?
@@tanramiel she means you cant fold ut up and then leave it standing on ita own you have to put it down on the floor (taking up more floorspace)
