Also, for decks I suggest that every hero should have 3 deck slots. It's rare for a hero to have more than 3 different strategies, and this also saves the problem of new heroes giving you way too many strats you wanna play. Like I already struggle with this, especially when I get quests to win with a specific hero. Also along with the 3:0 quests, they should remove the quest to win rounds with all units surviving. Same idea, it's really hard and there's only a couple ways you can luck into that with a couple possible units
Also,since now there are no levels in terms of interactions,people cant "max out" a deck and then complain it got nerfed to the ground,since everything is at the same level for everyone. WHICH MEANS Weekly balance changes can EASILY happen,and they should aim for every Mini to be useful in some way. What I'd also like to see is: • MORE deck slots(25 would be nice) • A copy and paste for them,along with link sharing them. • Ice and Giant synergies,along with some Minis for them to happen • 6 Unit synergy bonuses,but that is on the very end,like it'd be fine if it happened 3 years after Global or something.
My idea to emotes is to make that the heroes don’t spam them anymore, but now the hero emotes would be used by the player. If I am using RC I will have 5 emotes of her, similarly to the old Clash Royale ones.
The problem with toy machine (in addition to what you highlighted about losing progress on limited sets) is the way it was introduced. Because it is all about getting an SP mini or skin, shards and gold feel like a letdown, despite being one of the main ways to progress. Contrast this to brawl boxes in Brawl Stars, where it felt like every box gave progression, and a few boxes gave you brawlers. There, it felt like gold and power points were expected, and brawlers were a bonus reward. If Clash Mini wants to fix toy machine, they need to find a way to make every drop feel like a reward, rather than 79 fails to 1 pity success.
Perfect day for an update review I 100% agree that pity should carry between same tier toy machines. It's there to protect the player and by resetting it, it won't do its job.
The only nitpick i have... And is a small one and more of a me thing. I'm not sure about boards being behind skin SETS. Especially with how half the match is played on the other players deck, i believe is in everyone interest not only to get boards, but for other players to have them. Again, i'm not sure how it would look further down the line, but boards like the space one (do to centinel) or the sea (do to countopus) feel impossible to get. I think it would be good if boards where unlocked by finishing decorating the dioramas instead. That way, you just need 1 skin to get the board... Eventually. I would even agree if they extend the total time to fully upgrade the diorama, even do it would slow progration (which is good for them) in the long run do to the piggy bank. I also believe that the extra piggy exp and the total skins rewards should be insentive enough to want more skins, which in any case it could be added other rewards, maybe emotes when the come back and avatars theme to that skin set. I think it would be a great reward for compliting dioramas and would prevent the idea of most of us being stucked at windy hills for the next 6 months.

Yeh i never expect people to agree with everything i say all the time but ive been analyzing the update for the past month from multiple perspectives and according to the comments it seems like i did a great job at breaking it down
I think Clash mini needs a bigger team. For this game to work how they intend it to and succeed, they need to be rolling things out faster, quicker, and better. Even with the months of time, a large part of this update fell flat. Specifically... (tl;dr Events shouldnt end close to season end, The shop is likely influenced by predatory chinese mobile game practices, Heroes shouldn't be in rerolls, Sets and Dioramas have a good base but need improvement, Toy machine needs polish, SP hero system needs a change) The Good: While some do need balancing/reworks, I think overall the gameplay changes are great. My only critique is the mixing of hero upgrades with mini upgrades. With the hero upgrades being significantly stronger, I don't think they should be in the same reroll system. I think the set system is mostly good. The increased progression is motivativating and keeps me playing. However, it was quite frustrating when they added more keys to the pool for the new mini releases. It greatly decreased the chances of getting the minis I wanted (ie. princess) and felt like it progressed me backwards. I quite like the dioramas. It's fun seeing them get built up, but there's still so much they can do with them. As is they feel only half-implemented. The Bad: I think SP needs more thought put into it, especially with the SP heroes. Having BM be a year long objective isn't motivating at all. Instead they should just be releasing more SP heroes and make them at max 6 months to unlock. Honestly, I'm okay that toy machine exists, but it's just such a boring system to engage in. It lacks so much polish. I agree with all your points here but that's the main issue for me. Events... honestly mostly good but, I just think the requirements to get the epic key was too high. It wasn't an issue for me but I know a lot of my clan mates couldn't get to 3k before the end of the season. Not to mention the timing of it was bad as well. With both the event and season ending near the same time, it added an extra thing to push on, when pushing on just one of them was hard enough. The Ugly: The shop definitely is terrible this time around. I'm not a spender but it is still shocking to me how low value the deals and general prices are. I want to have faith in the devs, but it really feels like they're just milking their beta players for money. The Chinese mobile games market is known to be very predatory with their monetization, and with Clash mini having their main headquarters there, I suspect there're been influenced by it.
Please add chapters to your videos. Not only does it make it a more nicer watching and rewatching experience, but it also helps when writing comments to a video like this where there are multiple points to address
Another small qol improvement i would love is to add a confirmation button when you want to roll 10 keys and showing an indication on how many left you need to open on the top right Or just having a skip button will be good if you aren't trust your luck and just wanna quick 10 pull

What i hate about the most is randomness came with this update like i have only unlocked diffuser, villager and giant in new minis i have level 15 heores was maxed before the update but after this update not even unlocked a single special mini (10 keys to hog) . Also why the heck the clash mini team decided to not register the minis which are unlocked by the old players this really gives no preference to the players who were loyal and playing clash mini from the first day like earlier people progression was based on skins and emotes and now its about minis which are very hard to unlock because of luck envoling in it all the new meta decks include princess , hog, sailor, sharkbait, and some even have sailor but it feels very disappointing when you havent unlocked a single one yet my clanmate got builder machine on his 4th try and here i have tried 11 times but not even got a single rare ball. Update 7 removes ability to place minis in different lanes because it involve luck but now to get a new mini it takes so much of luck like i am collector level 95 but still not got any new mini from legendary tier and they introduced more ( executioner, inferno wizard etc) whats your view on this Edit- my friend is also f2p and me too
And yeah, I rlly miss feeling excited for the season end. That was one really good thing about the star reset. Now I just feel nothing, and all it does it mean I can regrind to 3k for the rewards
The Toy Machine's randomness is just insane. I get my hog rider at 50s and get my next SP mini which is Decoy Adept at my first try. That saves me a lot considering I'm just F2P.
As a casual who doesn't play everyday, progression feels extremely slow. I know that u gotta play the game in order to progress but it feels like nothing is really happening. Im just leveling up 1 troop after another and spending my keys whenever i get them. I don't really feel anything especially when rng screws me and i don't have minis that i could unlock a long time ago
They neeed to switch epic key pitty with common because common is given out every second and epic Is rarer it only makes sense. But I agree with the video as always ur a W ❤ abdod
Gameplay wise, I’d like to see more minis in each class, but a nerf for class buffs. Right now the system is a bit too restrictive on deck building, and many minis feel like they should be in a class but aren’t. New classes would also be nice, such as Melee for weapon wielders, and Defense for shield and block users.
Im always up for classes not being OP In a perfect world for me Classes and Hero promotions are not op and not a must pick every match but rather an extra flavor to the gameplay
I agree my problem with the toy machine isn't that it's random my problem is that you can't get any of the skins from it unless the machine also has a character cause you are wasting your keys if you don't get a new mini from the pull
i agree with everything excpet events i would split my opinine into two , one about the gameplay and the other about the rewards honstaly the gameplay in the events was pretty fun and there is always chance to make comeback more than duels atleast for the first 30 matches then you keep facing the same boring deck over and over agin ( cough cough aq undead) the rewards are still kinda bad and not worth it tbh i really tried to try to get the avater but it's so boring the amount of matches you need just to get an avater atleast add some smaller rewards so there is a mini goal between your big goal ( the avater ) also sp minis sucks and gobline set too ( there opeeins sucks)
Pretty good takes here, but I will say gold is pretty bad and season path rewards are pretty underwhelming as well as the really disappointing prizes from you machine
I don't really like your first suggestion. That "don't get things from next set if I haven't unlocked everything from the previous one" would just make people have even less minis. Remember that person that doesn't have the wizard? They would continue to not have the wizard and now not have the other minis too. Do you know what really needs to change? The odds! The odds are disgusting, they say the game has no p2w while making it impossible to unlock new minis and adding tons of them, especially since the new ones are much stronger! All minis should be equally as strong, making rarer/harder to obtain minis stronger and easy to obtain ones weaker just shows their priority! Also, taking two months to unlock a character IS a problem for two reasons. 1-In other games (including Supercell games) you might take longer to max out the character, but at least you can play with them without wanting for so long and 2-Taking tew months to unlock a character is absurd when they release such a high amount of characters. They don't stop, it's insane! Why would I come back to this game that got this update that released 20 new characters if I can't use a large number of them?
The thing about this update is that all of its features are good in concept but bad in execution. Everything could be way more fun with a few small tweaks. Better pity for toy machines, a more structured drop system for sets, more balanced sp minis. U8 is on the verge of greatness, but just not quite there
I still hate how random the reload is. It should stop giving you the same minis you had on the previous one (if you liked them why would you even reload?) Sometimes you need to upgrade a certain mini but you don't get it and you lose the game (happens alot)
I "burnt" 65 gold keys on "ocean 2" and now Idk what to do. Should I get hog because he's rlly good or should I invest in skins cause I dont have any Dioramas to upgrade anymore. I just feel demotivated cause it feels like I wasted an entire season to get a skin, now everyone has a rlly good troop, and even though I invested in skins my dioramas are max and I cant gain any piggy levels.
A rule i put for myself is i only start pulling at a Machine if i have the pity number for it So for example if a machine is at 80 Pity i never start pulling unless my gold keys are 80 or more Obviously non timed machine are excluded cuz i dont really have to wait since they arent going anywhere
I think they should make unlocking not sp minis easier. I dont want to get everything on day one but i waited idk 3 to 5 months for the update just to get 4 new minis that one of them is useless. And im in collector level 108 and dont have any legendry minis

@@Abdod I have 5 dioramas that are all max level except I’m missing some skins for each, I am piggy lvl 21. I do not have any dioramas of paid skins, (animal, space, robo, ocean II)

Great efforts.. Instead of collector levels random mini their should be something like Trophy road to. Unlock minis.. Also just hate epic gotcha.. I have super badluck in gotcha.. Unlocked giant skelton in last try.. Hog rider still needed 7 keys to unlock.. And the thing they said hero unlockable in 1 year is a joke.. We get only 5 epic keys the last one also time consuming.. 5x12 = 60 keys per year.. Gotcha required 140 keys to guaranteed bm.. I will take more then 2 years to unlock bm..

Yeh its just a skill based leaderboard cosmetic like the 20 win emote in clash royale Not everyone should get it and i feel like its fine to have some high skill ceiling avatar/skin to test players skills
Also, just to add one thing, I don't like synergies. They are broken, limiting and unfair. Minis that have multiple common synergies like Archer's have a clear advantage agaisn't minis like Egolem. All minis should have the same amount of synergies and all synergies should be equally common, with a slight range for imperfection of both for necessary reasons. The second problem is how strong synergies are, a deck with no synergies is so much worst than a deck built around synergies, making you HAVE to use synergies, which is limitating. In a game like Clash Mini, where the focus is all on you getting minis, making your own decks, exploring with them and using your creativity to discover cool new strategies limiting your options through synergies doesn't soudn great. And I know that synergies allowed other combinations to be viable, but I feel like they limit your viable options much more than increase the range of minis you have. And finally, heroes having synergies doesn't feel right. Think of this, if you are using an Archer Queen that's a mini slot you are using and since synergies are broken you don't want to waste that slot, so you add an archer, a magic archer and other ranged minis. See the problem? Your heroes are always going to define a deck. A melee heroe in a melee deck, a tank heroe in a stall deck and a range heroe in a range deck and I guess it makes sense for your heroe to represent your whole deck, a ton of people do already that but it kinda makes impossible for a deck in which each troop is very different impossible. If you have a tank you should have another, if you have a range attacker why not two? Zero elixir minis or all of them in your deck. There are so many synergies and combos for a game in which you can only have 6 units at the field. Resume: I don't like synergies cuz they made my fav deck useless

The chances of unlocking new minis are absurdly small and we see that now new minis releasing isn't such a rarity, even if you CAN win without the new minis that doesn't mean you wouldn't want to use them. No one wants to wait MONTHS for the "new" characters. Also, I agree with you one that part. The additional buffing is insane!
i personally REALLY hate sets. They only limit deck synergy imo, and is also just really boring. Also needing to upgrading your hero in a match, and only once, makes them feel really boring compared to before.
It’s a scam that only 1 regular quest spawn every 6h you LOGGES in the game. They should spawn even if I don’t log in. If I don’t play for 2 days and then I log in, wtf I should only do 1 regular quest? They scam us in so many ways
And for my weekly dosis of negativity (Because yes, i'm proudly in the "the new artstyle sucks" camp). That said, i think i'm actually greatfull for it now that we see the direction they intent to have with the premium skins. Imma be real, the reanimated SK is B tier at best and the flying hog looks cheap and both of them are mid as hell, there, i said it. I found me having 0 interest in this skins, they don't even hold a candle to the og underworld SK skin (WHAT THE F IS THAT SCARF CHRIST ALMIGHTY, red, RED OF ALL COLORS TO MESSED UP THE COLOR SCHEME, it looks like a bootleg christmas skin now ;-;), Dragon Wave Master or Clowntest. Don't even mention Astral NB, that thing was overpriced as hell but i actually believed the ppl who bought it at least got something worth of the high cost. I genually feel bad for the folks paying MORE THAN DOUBLE for such mid skins. The good thing for me is that it will keep me in track where my keys should go, battle machine, i genually believe they have it rough to get me trying to even attempt a premium one. Forget how ridiculous the odds are, forget how stingy they are with epic keys, i know damn well that even if they manage to get a great skin out of that cheap toy asthetic, i will always remember that it would've been way better under the previous art style. (Sorry for the rant, i don't like being that negative, but the og artstyle was the reason i started playing this game and why i think most did, and it baffles me why change the only thing the game always did right)

What i hate about the most is randomness came with this update like i have only unlocked diffuser, villager and giant in new minis i have level 15 heores was maxed before the update but after this update not even unlocked a single special mini (10 keys to hog) . Also why the heck the clash mini team decided to not register the minis which are unlocked by the old players this really gives no preference to the players who were loyal and playing clash mini from the first day like earlier people progression was based on skins and emotes and now its about minis which are very hard to unlock because of luck envoling in it all the new meta decks include princess , hog, sailor, sharkbait, and some even have sailor but it feels very disappointing when you havent unlocked a single one yet my clanmate got builder machine on his 4th try and here i have tried 11 times but not even got a single rare ball. Update 7 removes ability to place minis in different lanes because it involve luck but now to get a new mini it takes so much of luck like i am collector level 95 but still not got any new mini from legendary tier and they introduced more ( executioner, inferno wizard etc) whats your view on this

The Toy Machine's randomness is just insane. I get my hog rider at 50s and get my next SP mini which is Decoy Adept at my first try. That saves me a lot considering I'm just F2P.
As a casual who doesn't play everyday, progression feels extremely slow. I know that u gotta play the game in order to progress but it feels like nothing is really happening. Im just leveling up 1 troop after another and spending my keys whenever i get them. I don't really feel anything especially when rng screws me and i don't have minis that i could unlock a long time ago

They neeed to switch epic key pitty with common because common is given out every second and epic Is rarer it only makes sense. But I agree with the video as always ur a W ❤ abdod
Gameplay wise, I’d like to see more minis in each class, but a nerf for class buffs. Right now the system is a bit too restrictive on deck building, and many minis feel like they should be in a class but aren’t. New classes would also be nice, such as Melee for weapon wielders, and Defense for shield and block users.
Im always up for classes not being OP
In a perfect world for me Classes and Hero promotions are not op and not a must pick every match but rather an extra flavor to the gameplay
I agree my problem with the toy machine isn't that it's random my problem is that you can't get any of the skins from it unless the machine also has a character cause you are wasting your keys if you don't get a new mini from the pull
i agree with everything excpet events i would split my opinine into two , one about the gameplay and the other about the rewards
honstaly the gameplay in the events was pretty fun and there is always chance to make comeback more than duels atleast for the first 30 matches then you keep facing the same boring deck over and over agin ( cough cough aq undead) the rewards are still kinda bad and not worth it tbh i really tried to try to get the avater but it's so boring the amount of matches you need just to get an avater atleast add some smaller rewards so there is a mini goal between your big goal ( the avater )
also sp minis sucks and gobline set too ( there opeeins sucks)

Pretty good takes here, but I will say gold is pretty bad and season path rewards are pretty underwhelming as well as the really disappointing prizes from you machine
I don't really like your first suggestion. That "don't get things from next set if I haven't unlocked everything from the previous one" would just make people have even less minis. Remember that person that doesn't have the wizard? They would continue to not have the wizard and now not have the other minis too.
Do you know what really needs to change? The odds! The odds are disgusting, they say the game has no p2w while making it impossible to unlock new minis and adding tons of them, especially since the new ones are much stronger! All minis should be equally as strong, making rarer/harder to obtain minis stronger and easy to obtain ones weaker just shows their priority!
Also, taking two months to unlock a character IS a problem for two reasons. 1-In other games (including Supercell games) you might take longer to max out the character, but at least you can play with them without wanting for so long and 2-Taking tew months to unlock a character is absurd when they release such a high amount of characters. They don't stop, it's insane!
Why would I come back to this game that got this update that released 20 new characters if I can't use a large number of them?
The thing about this update is that all of its features are good in concept but bad in execution. Everything could be way more fun with a few small tweaks. Better pity for toy machines, a more structured drop system for sets, more balanced sp minis. U8 is on the verge of greatness, but just not quite there

I still hate how random the reload is. It should stop giving you the same minis you had on the previous one (if you liked them why would you even reload?)
Sometimes you need to upgrade a certain mini but you don't get it and you lose the game (happens alot)

I "burnt" 65 gold keys on "ocean 2" and now Idk what to do. Should I get hog because he's rlly good or should I invest in skins cause I dont have any Dioramas to upgrade anymore. I just feel demotivated cause it feels like I wasted an entire season to get a skin, now everyone has a rlly good troop, and even though I invested in skins my dioramas are max and I cant gain any piggy levels.
A rule i put for myself is i only start pulling at a Machine if i have the pity number for it
So for example if a machine is at 80 Pity i never start pulling unless my gold keys are 80 or more
Obviously non timed machine are excluded cuz i dont really have to wait since they arent going anywhere

I think they should make unlocking not sp minis easier. I dont want to get everything on day one but i waited idk 3 to 5 months for the update just to get 4 new minis that one of them is useless. And im in collector level 108 and dont have any legendry minis

The only nitpick i have... And is a small one and more of a me thing. I'm not sure about boards being behind skin SETS. Especially with how half the match is played on the other players deck, i believe is in everyone interest not only to get boards, but for other players to have them. Again, i'm not sure how it would look further down the line, but boards like the space one (do to centinel) or the sea (do to countopus) feel impossible to get. I think it would be good if boards where unlocked by finishing decorating the dioramas instead. That way, you just need 1 skin to get the board... Eventually. I would even agree if they extend the total time to fully upgrade the diorama, even do it would slow progration (which is good for them) in the long run do to the piggy bank. I also believe that the extra piggy exp and the total skins rewards should be insentive enough to want more skins, which in any case it could be added other rewards, maybe emotes when the come back and avatars theme to that skin set. I think it would be a great reward for compliting dioramas and would prevent the idea of most of us being stucked at windy hills for the next 6 months.
I think eventually when everyone gets all SPs gold keys will go on skins and boards will be easier to get

Your main focus should be to get level 28 piggy bank so calculate XP and Check if your current dioramas are enough

Level 28 Pig increases the chance of golden keys u get everyday so its the most value level

Instead of collector levels random mini their should be something like Trophy road to. Unlock minis.. Also just hate epic gotcha.. I have super badluck in gotcha.. Unlocked giant skelton in last try.. Hog rider still needed 7 keys to unlock..
And the thing they said hero unlockable in 1 year is a joke.. We get only 5 epic keys the last one also time consuming..
5x12 = 60 keys per year..

In last Updates i think most of the players stop playing after when they maxed there account . I thik that's why SP mini and heros are now exist. But they should give us more side reward like skins. Or they should nerfed them.

Also, just to add one thing, I don't like synergies. They are broken, limiting and unfair.
Minis that have multiple common synergies like Archer's have a clear advantage agaisn't minis like Egolem. All minis should have the same amount of synergies and all synergies should be equally common, with a slight range for imperfection of both for necessary reasons.
The second problem is how strong synergies are, a deck with no synergies is so much worst than a deck built around synergies, making you HAVE to use synergies, which is limitating. In a game like Clash Mini, where the focus is all on you getting minis, making your own decks, exploring with them and using your creativity to discover cool new strategies limiting your options through synergies doesn't soudn great. And I know that synergies allowed other combinations to be viable, but I feel like they limit your viable options much more than increase the range of minis you have.
And finally, heroes having synergies doesn't feel right. Think of this, if you are using an Archer Queen that's a mini slot you are using and since synergies are broken you don't want to waste that slot, so you add an archer, a magic archer and other ranged minis. See the problem? Your heroes are always going to define a deck. A melee heroe in a melee deck, a tank heroe in a stall deck and a range heroe in a range deck and I guess it makes sense for your heroe to represent your whole deck, a ton of people do already that but it kinda makes impossible for a deck in which each troop is very different impossible. If you have a tank you should have another, if you have a range attacker why not two? Zero elixir minis or all of them in your deck. There are so many synergies and combos for a game in which you can only have 6 units at the field.
Resume: I don't like synergies cuz they made my fav deck useless

The chances of unlocking new minis are absurdly small and we see that now new minis releasing isn't such a rarity, even if you CAN win without the new minis that doesn't mean you wouldn't want to use them. No one wants to wait MONTHS for the "new" characters.
Also, I agree with you one that part. The additional buffing is insane!

i personally REALLY hate sets. They only limit deck synergy imo, and is also just really boring. Also needing to upgrading your hero in a match, and only once, makes them feel really boring compared to before.

Imma be real, the reanimated SK is B tier at best and the flying hog looks cheap and both of them are mid as hell, there, i said it.
I found me having 0 interest in this skins, they don't even hold a candle to the og underworld SK skin (WHAT THE F IS THAT SCARF CHRIST ALMIGHTY, red, RED OF ALL COLORS TO MESSED UP THE COLOR SCHEME, it looks like a bootleg christmas skin now ;-;), Dragon Wave Master or Clowntest.
Don't even mention Astral NB, that thing was overpriced as hell but i actually believed the ppl who bought it at least got something worth of the high cost. I genually feel bad for the folks paying MORE THAN DOUBLE for such mid skins.
The good thing for me is that it will keep me in track where my keys should go, battle machine, i genually believe they have it rough to get me trying to even attempt a premium one.
Forget how ridiculous the odds are, forget how stingy they are with epic keys, i know damn well that even if they manage to get a great skin out of that cheap toy asthetic, i will always remember that it would've been way better under the previous art style.
(Sorry for the rant, i don't like being that negative, but the og artstyle was the reason i started playing this game and why i think most did, and it baffles me why change the only thing the game always did right)
