18, 16, and 13 years old! Influences are Queen, AC/DC, Pink Floyd, Muse, Metallica, My Chemical Romance, K-Pop, Guns n’ Roses, Foo Fighters. They’ve already been in Boston three times and in New Hampshire once. They also attended Berklee College of Music in Boston in 2015.
I'd add Halestorm and Billy Joel. I suspect they heard Heart, Blondie, Pat Benatar and MANY other bands from decades of classic rock. There is a classical music bed to their knowledge, too, that seems to give them structural cues.
Kelly,I don't think that Dany would hurt cha at all about that first stop pic! She is after all the Queen of The Murder Scene 😅 She also has one of the best self depreciating senses of humor I've seen or heard in while😊 She'd probably show you a better one ( goofyer?) .A truly expressive 😂woman in all the songs she sings, not only their own! ❤ Thanks for your reaction, you 🤗 💖🐺
@@scottbradley6953 Yeah; she wouldn't mind at all I think. I mean, she plays the next several songs with a deep frown and grimace on her face - really getting into acting out the part even while singing. She said if she wasn't doing this she'd like to be a teacher, and I can see her being a wonderful and engaging teacher for exactly the same reasons that led her to fully embrace and "act out" the parts in this album concert. The best teachers I've ever had did pretty much the same, bringing the lessons to life, so to speak.
Queen of the Murder Scene is a concept album that follows the story of a young woman’s descent into obsession, murder, and madness, exploring her inner conflict and the consequences of her actions. The title track, Queen of the Murder Scene, is the 10th track and final song of Chapter 3. By this point in the story, the protagonist has fully embraced her darker side, shedding any remnants of guilt or remorse. She takes on the title of "Queen" and revels in her newfound power, taunting anyone who might try to oppose her. The song is an anthem of defiance, symbolizing her complete transformation as she becomes the embodiment of violence and control. The chant “korosu,” meaning “kill” in Japanese, is used to emphasize her loss of humanity and her full embrace of her murderous identity.
The Lunario Concert presents the whole story. It's really worth watching, even if you don't react to it. This was the debut date of the album, 11/25/2018. They were 13, 16, and 18. (Ale turned 14 a few weeks later). Sadly, the album is out of print, now. It is a work of art - graphically, musically, and lyrically. That teenagers created it is mind-boggling.
It comes and goes. Since it doesn't fall under the Lava label, _The Warning_ is wholly responsible for ordering and paying for pressings on their own. As long as there is demand for it, they'll keep placing orders... about a thousand copies at a time. And then it will be another six or eight months until they have enough cash to place another order. I nailed a copy a few months ago, and was lucky at that.
Korosu is the verb “to kill” in Japanese, they like to include other languages like French and Binary code 🤣 They are really fantastic. Theirs is a very nice story that most of us would like to happen to oneself in whichever field we are on. The only thing that we must remember is their extremely hard work philosophy. This year they had more than 80 concerts plus presentations and what not. In 16 or 17 countries. Next year they add again South America.
I believe a very good historical look at The Warning is from TedxTalk at the U of Nevada,2017. Its about 20-25 minutes but is well worth a listen and seems to always do well with the UTube audience. At the time Ale(12), Pau(15) and Dany(17). Also includes the TWA catch phrase from Pau.❤
I always thought that the guitar riffs of this song sounded similar to something that Black Sabbath's guitarist, Tony Iommi could've come up with - dark, heavy, haunting and evil.
Queen of the Murder Scene is a *"ROCK NOVEL"* concept album. Tracks are ...... Dust to Dust Chapter One: Crimson Queen Ugh The One Chapter Two: Stalker Red Hands Never Fade The Sacrifice Chapter Three: Sinister Smiles Dull Knives Cut Deeper Queen of the Murder Scene Chapter Four: P.S.Y.C.H.O.T.I.C. Hunter The End (Stars Always Seems to Fade) --------------- The best the concert is the one from Lunario CDMX. Since it's presented in chronological order. There are t5 racks from their debut album starting after *"Dust to Dust"* (Unmendable) & after each Chapter (When I'm Alone, XXI Century Blood, Copper Bullets) & the encore (Survive). Other reactors did the full concert. By Chapter or by song. The Warning did released lyric video (studio audio) of each song if you want to understand the lyrics aka story better. Then play the live video. I probably seen the Lunario concert about 50 times all in all. I'll be there for 51.
Lunario. Pronounced "looh-NAH-ree-oh". From "Luna" (moon). A Lunario is an almanac. No idea why nor how that venue (part of the Auditorio Nacional complex) got its name. About the song QOTMS: besides of giving its title to the whole album, it's one of songs by The Warning closer to classical Heavy Metal sound. A fan favorite of many.
OK, I just found the answer to the name of the Lunario. "The Lunario at the Auditorio Nacional is named in honor of the Moon, which is a source of artistic inspiration. In addition, the name of the Lunario is related to the Lunas del Auditorio awards, which are given annually to the best live entertainment in Mexico".
If you want to see some of their influences, you might like to see what vinyl albums they picked out for What’s In My Bag. I’ll leave the link if you’re interested. ⚡️🤘ua-cam.com/video/XJ-0Mq5XK3Y/v-deo.html

Yes, do it! At least three covers and I believe all six originals from their EP Escape The Mind, which was their first endeavor in writing music. LONG LIVE THE VILLARREAL SISTERS!
This is the midpoint of the story. You should do the entire album at the Lunario show. Start with "Dust to Dust" and just go through it all. It's so good.
Queen of the Murder Scene is one he-double hockey sticks of a concept album, written and performed by three teenagers! This is the title track (obviously), and one of my all time favorite TW songs. The QotMS album is about a girl who has an unhealthy obsession over a guy who doesn't even know she exists, so she enters a downward spiral of madness and murder. It doesn't have a happy ending. Or a happy beginning. It's not happy at all, actually. The Lunario concert is great, and the live debut for this album, they told the whole story, with some other, older songs thrown in the mix. imagine that, when they wrote the songs on QotMS as teens, they already had older songs. As good as this song is at Lunario, it really kicks ass at Teatro Metropolitan, where it feels heavier, the sound quality is better, and Dany's vocals have improved since the Lunario show. As far as I know, her voice was also a bit strained at Lunario, because of the high altitude. Speaking of QotMS and Lunario, why not do a reaction to the whole thing?
They repeat this word>>>Korosou Korosou Korosou Korosou Korosou is Japanese and is the volitional form of the verb "korosu", which means to kill or murder!
LOL- you’re probably closer with the “Queen” influence guess, than with the “Heart” one. They’re always mentioning Queen, when asked about early influences. I don’t recall them ever mentioning Heart.

I'd also put a little Iron Maiden here. The changes have that feeling minus the big theatrics, but still hold that angst that Maiden did so well.
