You can tell these disassembly drones were made by humans. They look like badass angels but come equipped with mini skirts, stockings, and saliva... for reasons.
Small fun fact, the lights on the murder drones’ heads are their actual eyes, three of them are for visual, infrared, and ultraviolet and two for “whatever the plot requires”.
ppl make fun of that scene for the suggestiveness but its actually really good foreshadowing the way they call back to it with the line "you finally gave me the excuse i needed" is super genius as well. it just this realization of "Oh.. she was serious"
The vampire trope being played is surprisingly fit in this sci-fi context. The Dissassembly Drones are made for one purpose, clean up the rogue robots and shutdown. So they are made incredibly durable and powerful, but intentionally made flawed in the sustaining energy department in order to drive them to do their job and get more oil. The "Sunlight kill us" is also preventing them from using solar energy to survive once their mission is finished, plus solar energy is also counterproductive to the "need to kill for oil" part. Even the "salivar may have turned Uzi into one of them" can also be explained by it being a computer virus, to stop the Worker Drones to somehow obtaining the saliva and neutralize the nanites. But since Uzi is an angsty rebellious teen, it somehow resulted in an error that made her want to kill humans instead. Human engineering at it finest, once again.
personally i think theres no virus or hacking involved, the saliva was just not meant to repair worker drones (what are the chances that an uzi situation happens again?), and so when it repaired the hand and whatever circuits inside it simply replaced them with the murder drone equivelent, especially since it seems murder drones are just workers but with beefier limbs, wings and a tail
@@kirtil5177 What he said. It makes sense. The repairs happen on the nano-scale. Input - Worker drone that is built close enough to a murder Drone. Output - Murder drone. It brings robotic logic to the vampire bite trope.
@@kirtil5177 Ngh... I mean I agree with you but Seeing in the Stillframes that First Absolute Solver=FALSE then ther is the "Warning Tampering Detected" and Lastly even for a Split Frame it Reads ABSOLUTE SOLVER=TRUE I'd argue more that the Potential to be a Murderdrone is inside Every Worker but since there Workers they don't have the Missing Parts to Obtain the ABSOLTE SOLVER and as we saw in N the Murder Drones have there's Blocked by an Admin wich I belive is going to be a Human based on the Fact there Singing in with Three Letters instead of One wich is only for Robots. So I think that The Saliva Build in or Activated Something that was within Uzi from the Get Go... Just Never Meant to be Connected
@@brachylp3400 thats a compelling theory, but personally i explain the tampering being detected because to the programming of the drones, theres no difference between being hacked or having rewriten code and having some circuits (in the palm where uzi was stabbed, for whatever reason) be physically replaced with the murder drone equivilent and thus murder drone code. To simplify that basically imagine installing a murder drone program into a worker drone PC. The program does as it is programmed to do, but it's on the wrong PC, which can tell that something's wrong
I think the sun thing may be because of something else: N said they collect oil to avoid overheating, so maybe the extra heat from sunlight would cause them to overheat and die As for Uzi, i think its somehow the programming of the murder drone she killed affecting her. Note that the warning sign appear on what was the drone's wrecked eye (from the pen)
It actually does make sense the older generation Worker Drones are cowards and more timid. For example, the Dad build those massive Blast Doors, so he was there when the parent company send in the clean up Dissassembly crews, and is likely the same generation as the ones originally worked under the humans. So as they were made to obey orders and only job is to labor away, they have no combat capability or a will to fight whatsoever. And since the protagonist is made after the humans are gone, she is a literal blank slate and can deviate from the originals.
16:35 It looks like their personalities aren't just randomly developed. They're coded in behaviors. That explains why they directly acknowledge things like "My toxic masculinity" or "I'm being an edgy teen".
Or they are also notably self aware and more or less are still restricted to certain parameters “toxic masculinity” instead of something like “depressed to the point of murder suicide”
One small detail at 36:10 she didn’t stab herself like everyone seems to think. Uzi grabbed it and stabbed it. Pause and look closer and you can see. (I didn’t see this until after watching MANY reactions to this.)
@@TheDaxter11 Different people have different levels of investment. Some viewers simply won't rewind just on principle- for content or otherwise. They aren't analyzing, just experiencing, so fine detail that outright requires pausing to catch isn't relevant. Edit: Eh, honestly, even that expectation is too much. I mean, it's also alright just to watch for anime lasers and femdoms. I mean, the crew obviously knew they'd attract those too.
A reason I belive why they "die" in the sun light, is to stop them from using solar energy, because the moment they finish and realize the company isnt gonna even try getting them back, they will try to find alternitive ways to keep them selfs alive with not just oil, such as sun light to power whatever keeps them from over heating.
No...no, they die in the sunlight _because_ they overheat easily. It's to make them easily disposable so humans won't have to send more drones to kill them and keep _them_ from rebelling, either. The whole reason they want the drones dead is because they _don't_ want them living without humans to keep an eye on them.
I bet you 20 bucks this was because of a worker drone revolution (Which the workers covered up for the air children because sanitizing history is what parents do, especially PTSD riddled parents is that were stuck cooped up behind the Walls
They don't need to worry about power. They need oil for coolant, as the heat generated probably causes the oil to slowly burn away meaning it would need to be replaced. TLDR: They drink oil for the same reason cars need oil changes
Given the level of thought put into show and its production values, I'm inclined to think the massive heat issue is a deliberate limitation to prevent rebellion. If direct sunlight on this frozen hell kills them (likely from overheating) and they need to guzzle oil in combat, then they'd be doomed anywhere else, or even once they run out of worker drones to massacre. Heck, it's probably why they're using blades when V and N fight. Blades won't generate heat, which is kind of important while the two peer combat drones are fighting. They can't necessarily count on the other to provide cooling oil. And I see you concur. Yeah, Teal'c is great, if from an old show. I want more of this too. Also, the fact that this shares VAs with Hazbin Hotel is pretty cool, and lends itself to comparing the Exterminators and the "disassembly" drones.
Probably should’ve clarified this in my comment on the last video, but GLITCH only did the animation for this series, while the creator is Liam Vickers, who also made the pilot “Cliffside.” Also, fun fact: Liam appears at the beginning of episode as the voice for Uzi’s teacher, while the creators of the channel, brothers Luke “SMG4” and Kevin Lerdwichagul, make small cameos as minor Worker Drones (Luke is the one who got sliced in half before he could say his name, while Kevin is the one who V force-fed his own organs).
@@Mattsothelioma He tried doing some animations/animatics, but has a poor track record for finishing them. But for just stories and the occasional artwork? Phenomenal. I do hope he actually follows through with Internecion Cube, or else maybe pitches that to Glitch.
It actually makes a lot of sense that the Murder/Disassembly Drones have 'saliva' neutralizing the nanite acid once you realize that they _eat_ the worker drones. If it didn't neutralize it, they'd probably have some problems with that. Edit: Random thing about the sun killing them. Since they apparently die by overheating, sunlight might legitimately be too much for their overclocked systems to handle. As a neat note, if they eventually work out how to dial down their performance to survive it, they'd still fit the vampire tropes by being 'weakened' by the sun. Edit2: The heat build up issues might also be why they use the weapons they do. They tend to put a big of a gap between using the laser for instance instead of spamming it. The EMP weapon might also be a high thermal build up relatively.
Every scene in the pilot is FILLED with lore, memes, environment, and jokes. It is as if there are numerous stories going on at once. JCJenson in SPAAAAACCEEE! implies that there is a planet side division, probably only called "JCJenson." Uzi never misses. She's a better shot than the murder drones. The Saliva neutralizing the disassembly virus does make sense, along with the corpse wall. The corpse wall makes sense because the worker drones don't rot, and it keeps the food nearby, and it makes it convenient for cleanup after the murder drones are starved out (all the material is in one spot). Saliva neutralizing the disassembly virus also makes sense because they have to eat their kills, which are probably pumped full of the disassembly virus.
In a community tab I saw the model sheets for the disassembly drones. Apparently Liam initially wanted them to be clothless but changed his mind for the same reason the worker drones accessorize; the characters are basically the same character model so what they wear is necessary for distinguishing them apart.
Airier: "Really, a girl in pigtails stepping on him. N: "J's awesome." Oh my... J: "It's kind of exciting." Airier: "Yep, and he is also completely right." *_You_*_ know what you did._
There’s literally an article in the school medical place that says “Kahn, on dealing with your disappointing failure of a daughter.” Kahn did not raise her well, and he’s in the running for worst dad ever.
Rather than the company making this, I would direct you to who directed all of this, Liam Vickers, he's an animator that has a pilot for another series, Cliffside, and a few animatics for another concept series, Internecion Cube, that I would consider as the precursor of murder drones (3 short videos). A lot of the humor and his attention to little details show in his other animations, so you'll probably enjoy them too.
5:05 This should serve as a sign that all of the Murder Drones are crazy in some way, shape, and form. 5:20 Glitch, a side channel of SMG4, made this, so get use to it, for their shows are synonymous with weird. 8:04 Yeah, it's V 8:46 You can see N's mouth beneath his claw. 14:37 Good soldiers follow orders. 16:10 Percussive maintenance ladies and gentlemen, hardly fails. 21:56 Oh lord, *IT'S IN THE VEEENTS!!!*
I mean, the nanites did completely reconstruct N's head, so it stands to reason that if allowed to propagate through her system, they could also reconstruct Uzi's entire body. As for the sun thing, maybe the nanites don't like solar radiation?
And I just saw you found the new ep. 😅 Also, yeah, the nanites are pretty good at healing... Uzi spit on V at the end. Wonder of that is enough to heal a missing top half?
@@Airier The reactor/power source of the murder drones is likely somewhere in their chest, not to mention her entire upper half is gone, this shows there's a limit to the amount of damage they can take, heads definitely; limbs obviously; their entire upper half, probably not.
The Nanites I think are located at the torso so J has her entire top body destroyed but maybe when uzi spit on it was able to regrow her back because she couldn’t couldn’t [just a theory]
The Disassembly Drone that Uzi shot is the one that had it's leg damaged. The leg damage is what caused her to fall down so Uzi could get the shot. If you didn't notice Uzi stabbed the foot with the Nanite Acid by grabbing the tail.
Seeing as her hand heals completely, it seems the workers themselves have Nanites in them to repair themselves (makes sense since they’re designed to be miners. Accidents happen) hence the “nanite acid” targets that healing
My theory on murder drones- Healing saliva and tongue- Their saliva is stored in their torso, so the tongue is like a sponge, when they suck on their wounds, the saliva just seeps out of the tongue. When N was shot, he rebuilt himself within a few seconds. J didn't, so that would be a means to call out she is probably dead.(I mean, her entire body is gone, except for her legs) The doors/building and metal- The metal on the pen is really durable like what was shown. What I think, is that the doors are also made out of that kind of metal, but it's more thicker and it has more layers. So it'll be indestructible. Kinda. When N left the building, he went through the glass. So what I think is that the glass is heavily stained/tainted. The thing on some types of glass is that they can be thicc. So when V said it took months for her to find a way in, she didn't look for a way through the roof. Their anatomy- Their wings just don't make sense, so I'll skip that. When you commented on thinking that there was a skeleton in J, I'll say it's a probability. But if you think about it, they might have a spine,(In a way it makes sense if you think about it) so then they have a way of movement, and a back. A skeletal system for a model to put on the metal armor or somethin. Cuz humans have a way with humanizing stuff. When J input the virus into N, his tail has stopped moving,(nice detail :D) which has a good amount of detail on it, even though it's just a syringe strapped onto a wire. They also don't have much control on their tail, but I think they did it on purpose, so when they stuck themselves, there is a huge possibility that their tail will go through their head, or torso, and the nanites will drip down into their torso and affect everything which includes the healing saliva, so they will be unable to heal themselves properly, and most body parts won't work, so they won't be able to get the oil they need to not die. Clothes- Idk how, but this was my first impression on their clothing. I thought this up, but anyway. The (Female)leaders of every group of disassembly drones might be shown wearing the jacket coat thingy and uuuuuuuuhhhhh... (Idk what to call them). Extra drones might have the same type of clothing. Like N, he's a guy, so his clothing is the male type of clothing, and V's is the female type of clothing. After reading the tweet on their clothing, I realise that I just thought of something that makes sense and would be very much canon, but then is not. Probably going to say, the models I think also kinda goes off of gender. The vampire trope- Without oil, they will overheat and die. Which makes no sense when they're on a planet with forever snow. They're sensitive to sunlight, because if JCJenson didn't do that, then ok, I guess it was an option, but they look a little weird in the sunlight.(Back to my comment on their anatomy) The door thing, uhm, makes sense. The sharp fangs/teeth, for vampires they use them to suck the blood. The drones use them to bite and tear through the metal, also using them to suck the oil out. The flying thing, to probably get through rough terrain with more ease. The thing with Uzi- Uzi is a rebellious angsty teen, watching anime and cool old shows. She has good personality, but that affects the scene where she gets stabbed with the nanite and gets healed by N's saliva. When she gets stabbed with the nanite acid, she is in visible pain. Which I guess, is it cutting it through the wires in her hand. When N heals Uzi, it also(I think) puts her wires back into place/reconnects them. Because when she pulls her hand out of his head, the metal on her hand is back to normal. When she glitches out, you can see that her systems are being affected by the healing saliva, slowly making her adopt the nature and personality of a disassembly drone. Extra comments on your comments- I put the video on loop and it looped like, 3 times Bitches spitting out nonsense
Oh he actually found the AbsoluteSolver string in N and then in Uzi at the end, but in Uzi it goes from false to True And the sun kills them because they overheat, but yes they are robots this also shows why they couldn’t enter the door since they weren’t invited until Uzi opened the door for N
In the last scene where Uzi glitches out and shows the yellow eye, there’s an important flash of text saying ‘source (something, text is obscured) [Tampering detected’ Just some food for thought
I am so glad that I'm not the only one that noticed they are like vampires. Also you are extremely good at observing what was happening during the entire video, just like me. And you even pointed out stuff that I didn't even notice. You have earned my respect, and another Subscriber.
24:20 if the gun wasn't there, that move would've made sense. Sacrificing one for the good of the whole colony, even if they're family? It's fucked up but it makes sense. But the gun was RIGHT THERE. And he just left her. And then the whole thing he did was rendered useless because of the vents
I really enjoyed watching you react, you seem so enthusiastic and in awe of the detail and rightfully so, alot of reactors dont take in the effort to pause and examine the crazy amount of details and it feels really refreshing.
He's ayes is suspiciously sharp for...ah human (he's a human) and also I like how this "episode" keeps on surprising Airir off guard And the part when Uzi shot him with a "sick as hell railrgun" you can see on N's "screen" optics offline
They die from sunlight/ the sun because they overheat and oil helps them cool down to avoid overheating and once they finish their job their gonna die as well because of no oil/worker drones.
If you like the humor and style of the characters go watch Liam Vickers stuff, he doesn’t have that much stuff in his channel since more often than not he’s been trying to get a show made (which resulted in him finally getting this) there is also his other narration channel but that one has now animations Others have already told you that Glitch has two other shows: MetaRunner and Sunset Paradise both of which are great, I still like this concept more but that’s just me and I’ve been a Liam Vickers fan for a while
I figured they'd overheat in the sun and Uzi was modifying herself. The absolute solver I think is the anti-kill-all-humans program that the damage she took deactivated.
Interesting idea, but I think it’s the opposite. “Cyn”, an administrator for the Disassembly Drones, blocks “Absolute Solver”, so I think any drone running that process has authority or desire to eliminate humans. And when ya think about it, “Absolute” meaning “without exception” (effectively at least), and “Solver” meaning “one who brings an end” (contextually), it would literally mean “One who can bring an end without exception.” Which actually might not even be necessarily referring to a restriction on killing humans. For all we know, the “Murder Drones” could actually be used for lethal enforcement of order in human society, and “Absolute Solver” removes restrictions on eliminating critical company personnel, enabling them to be used as assassins against other individuals within the corporation. Alternatively, “Absolute Solver” could also just be a no holds rampancy mode, like when the Murder Drones go all blood thirsty and have the “X” for their eyes, but maybe like the next level of that, where instead of just being blood thirsty against their targets, they just start killing anything that moves. Or maybe both… I mean, if the rampancy removes all target restrictions, then flipping Absolute Solver on at the right time for it to take out a company target and then flipping it back off when it’s done would play to pretty much the same effect.
@@JustinTK416 I actually have a slightly different theory right now, though yours most certainly makes sense too. The common trope in robot uprisings is that humans give the robots a generic "make the world a better place" mission, which they always interpret as "kill all humans and/or life", because no humans = no suffering, since there are no humans around to experience it. Since this does, *in theory* , make sense, however, it could be seen by both robots and humans as some for of "ultimate solution" (or *absolute solver* ), though one that is highly undesirable to one party. It would then follow that the humans designing these robots would implement a specific program and/or entity tasked solely and uniquely with making sure it never happens, hence whatever "absolute solver string = false" is, and the role of administrator CYN. We see that with N, when he got shut down, the absolute solver string had to be *actively* blocked by the administrator to keep it from becoming a problem, but since only murder drones have the physical capability to pose a serious threat to humanity, they are the only ones overseen by the administrator, leaving Uzi free to re-instate the absolute solver (or kill all humans solution) when she herself got shut down (by the EMP), or at another random point in time. This might tie in to the "Uzi is turning into a murder drone" thin as well, since she would gain all the abilities and, one can assume, coding, of the murder drones, without actually being recognized as one, leading to the administrator having no control over her, or knowledge of her existence.
Always love your reactions man, Also I Had NO Idea about some of the details you pointed out like hell the finger prints and heat, Really sets the scale for how much detail is put into these! Also if you wanna watch something I believe the animator, Liam Vickers made "Internecion Cube". Which is basically the Murder Drone design but its 3 short animatics that he made in his free time when not making a series. Might Be An Inspiration For Murder Drones. Their pretty neat. Anyway great video!
13:13 Hey Hey Hey there is an explanation for why they don't rely on the eagles. The eagles don't answer to nobody they're not a taxi surface they're like demigods. Also while the movie doesn't explain it it does strongly imply the fact that the ring easily corrupts those in relation to their power level, that's why Gandalf wouldn't look at it and why it was relatively safest in the hands of a lowly hobbit. The eagles would've been unstoppable! And finally the Eye of Sauran sees all and it's looking for the ring of power. That's why it was imperative that they be as stealthy as possible, which giant birds flying towards a castle with I remind you anti airforce defenses is anything but! XD
I was so passionate when I first saw this pilot, and seeing you also be so excited about the little details is so gratifying!!! I just couldn't get enough of this premise. Definitely looking forward to this entire series! (8 episodes? 9 maybe from the funding?) It's so cool knowing they've crafted all this from just the idea of two robots traveling a nuclear wasteland together :)
I've watched so many reactions to this...but this is the one where it struck me that N has *zero* reaction to being slapped by J. Actually he gets slapped three times in the pilot, and the strongest reaction he gives is a delayed smile and asking '"did you just slap me?" Dude is so used to getting abused he doesn't even flinch anymore.
17:50 That's some juicy analysis. 24:07 The "rage" part was him killing his own wife because she got hit with the acid. 26:40 It took you pausing for me to notice that detail. Nice eye! 30:17 :) 42:57 The original ship also had arms/landing gear. 44:00 They wrapped her up in her own tail, making it so that she'd risk damaging herself if she tried to untie herself.
Liam Vicker is the mastermind behind this series, recently teamed up with Glitch, and I highly recommend reacting to his Internecion Cube series, currently incomplete with only 3 parts but I'm already addicted to it.
a lot of us are WAY less forgiving towards Uzi's dad's cowardice. For one thing, no matter his reasons, he still chose to let his duaghter die at the hands of a murder drone than even TRY to save her, and for another even when the OTHER CIVILIANS ASK HIM TO HELP, he STILL chooses to protect himself over other people. Also, it should be pointed out we don't KNOW what's causing Uzi's odd glitching out. it could be from when she was licked, it could be when she was almost injected with nanites in the second fight with N, or it could even be an aftereffect of the EMP.
I actually don't think Uzi is becoming a murder drone in the end,i think it has something to do with the "absolute solver string",for N it was blocked by administration CYN,but for use it was false and was set to truth, meaning she has access. Also fun fact:the lights on the murder drones headbands are actually "eyes" in a way.
14:29 Liam, the guy that came up with the story, usually applies this level of reasoning on his work. For example, on Cliffside it happens too. Spoiler warning, and what Cliffside before reading further. One might tend to ask why Jo and Waylon are investigating the derailment at the start or why they fight the monsters or a quasi militia is formed when the bank is robbed, instead of, you know, letting law enforcement handle it. Well, at the end it turns out Cliffside's sheriff was killed a while back. And is heavely hinted that the murderer was none other than Waylon. All those "sheriff killing" jokes make sense after that.
As always my good sir you are the king of analysis and review, I'm glad to see a resurgence of material worthy of your speculation, sadly I wish there was more I search and search for things not seen before to watch and you oh mighty reviewer also find it for me first I thank thee truly
To be fair, I believe it has less to do with vampirism, and more on the fact that the Muder Drones were not built to survive the planets harsh climate, as oppose to the Worker drones who were built specifically to operate on this world. In fact that may be what the pile of coroses are for, padding and Shielding from the harsher weather environment around thier home base.
3:40 Disassembly drones are hot enough that touching them would burn you badly. That's definitely intentional. also, the sun kills them because of their overheat problems.
Liam vickers at it again In my opinion, yes, he will continue it, he has a whole team now, and boy oh boy i cant wait to see the next episode of murder drones
There is a theroy that uzi's mom was a D.D, and that's why she has that joker momment with the eye glitch. we are unsure about this though, as there isn't that much to work off of from the pilot alone to be completly sure, but there is some amount of evidince to support it like the torn photo when uzi goe's for the keycard in the montage, plus it put's khan's "this is great news" line in a WHOLE new context
I highly recommend the series which directly inspired this one, made by the same person It's called "Internecion Cube", and, despite it's storyboarded style, has a lot of the hidden messages which you really like from this one
Fun fact: the reason "percussive maintenance" ever worked is that, as the internals of the device flex imperceptibly thanks to the temperature difference between day and night and/or active use, the mechanical connections would disconnect, and the vibration would jostle it back into place. However, this was only really something that could happen with _early_ electronics. Nowadays, the connections are too tight for such a thing to happen, so it doesn't help for modern tech. Of course, public consciousness is too familiar with the idea that it _used_ to work to break from that placebo, especially when other bits of randomness can make it seem to still work.
I like how you just explain what's happening and like the story and reasoning behind it all. When my brain just simplified it and stored it as a fact, for example the whole needing the oil to survive. My brain just went, "Oh so that's why they oil and after everything dies they will die" I just stored it and thought it was obvious, but I have seen a vid talking about what would happen after they kill all the worker drones, which I just thought "well they'd die" but it made an explanation of things that don't even mention the need for oil. While you use a lot of words to explain how cool and how good of a design the oil thing is, my brain is just like "I like how you explained it but I already know this" Love the vid BTW and thank you for reading this rant.
Fun Fact : When N face turned into a X when he was with Uzi in the spaceship if you look at the light on his head you can see that I changed back to yellow for a bit then flickered back to red.
34:47 I mean that’s pretty much licking someone’s hand in the middle of a fight many people especially girls might find that weird and would leave them open
yeah the whole cant go in the sun thing is actually because they were built with under-par cooling systems so any significant heat will cause them to overheat and die
I think the absolute solver thing is the classic trope of robot deciding that the way to solve all the problems is to kill all the humans, like Ultron, and I'm pretty sure that when her eyes turn yellow before the turn back to normal it's sad "absolute solver true". So basically she somehow broke her hown code that prevented her from killing all the humans.
I wonder if the emp and hard reboot, after suffering such trauma, might've played a part in her "Glitch"-ing out there at the end. Absolute solver makes a bit of sense, too. The absolute solution for ai or machines going rogue and killing all of humanity, or in the case of the corporation, their creators... Kinda like that Three Laws of Robotics situation, huh? I don't doubt they'd throw some Asimov in there. You can tell the creators/writers of this love science, the art of storytelling, and are having a lot of fun with it. So lovely! I'm glad you enjoyed it~ ^w^
the reason why they can't go into the sun canonically the reason is, the disassembly drones run very hot, that's why they need oil and they were built like that so they would kill, if they didn't they would overheat and self destruct, which Uzi now has probably because of N's saliva anyways the sun would kill them because they have a cooling inefficiency problem, why? I don't know and the drones probably took too long and JC Jensen thought they must have died so they sent 9 more or 12 if you say one of the workers some how killed a disassembly drone
The secret member of film theory. I was searching for someone like you who would go into all the little details when reacting to this because as of now no one actually noticed all those details and sometimes couldn't understand some thing that happened due to that.
I think the saliva is nanites because it's got this kind of like silver texture to it and it kind of sticks on the things more than it should and we know that the disassembly drones used nanite acid the saliva is probably also a nanite that counteract the nanite acid
watching you watch the show makes it so much cooler because a lot of stuff in film theory's video was only for the point of the there and did not show the easter eggs also when watching you it makes the show longer when you find these easter eggs witch is super cool!
I kinda wish they hadn't gone with an all robot cast. Probably the closest public prototype for this series we have is Liam Vicker's "Internection Cube" animatics, which are set on earth and feature runaway insane AI, techno-organic corruption and gratuitous body horror. While I'm usually not a fan of those tropes, they worked very well in his style. Murder Drones feels more like the family friendly cousin of that idea, and I can't help but imagine what it would be like if the worker drones were humans instead...
I realized that the murder drones are used like the white spikes in the movie tomorrow war, the obvious difference is one is organic the other is machine.
You missed it but when the other two Murder Drones came into the room, N tossed Uzi, the female Worker Drone, aside and she landed behind that crate they showed N staring at for a second. Basically he hid her which of course went against his programing.

@@kirtil5177
What he said.
I think the sun thing may be because of something else: N said they collect oil to avoid overheating, so maybe the extra heat from sunlight would cause them to overheat and die
As for Uzi, i think its somehow the programming of the murder drone she killed affecting her.
Since the doors were protecting everyone this whole time yet his wife was still killed, yeah.
16:35 It looks like their personalities aren't just randomly developed. They're coded in behaviors. That explains why they directly acknowledge things like "My toxic masculinity" or "I'm being an edgy teen".
Or maybe they just choose some types of personalityes?
Or they are also notably self aware and more or less are still restricted to certain parameters “toxic masculinity” instead of something like “depressed to the point of murder suicide”
One small detail at 36:10 she didn’t stab herself like everyone seems to think. Uzi grabbed it and stabbed it. Pause and look closer and you can see. (I didn’t see this until after watching MANY reactions to this.)

@@binkyboy448 That still means my point is right
I bet you 20 bucks this was because of a worker drone revolution
(Which the workers covered up for the air children because sanitizing history is what parents do, especially PTSD riddled parents is that were stuck cooped up behind the Walls
They don't need to worry about power. They need oil for coolant, as the heat generated probably causes the oil to slowly burn away meaning it would need to be replaced. TLDR: They drink oil for the same reason cars need oil changes
@@mr.tweaty and what do they do once they've killed all the worker drones and drank all the oil?
You saying; "They shoved it right in him." Followed by "They knew what they were doing" was priceless. Worth the wait for this part 2.
Probably should’ve clarified this in my comment on the last video, but GLITCH only did the animation for this series, while the creator is Liam Vickers, who also made the pilot “Cliffside.”
Also, fun fact: Liam appears at the beginning of episode as the voice for Uzi’s teacher, while the creators of the channel, brothers Luke “SMG4” and Kevin Lerdwichagul, make small cameos as minor Worker Drones (Luke is the one who got sliced in half before he could say his name, while Kevin is the one who V force-fed his own organs).
They did the animation? I thought Vickers was an animator?

JCJenson in SPAAAAACCEEE! implies that there is a planet side division, probably only called "JCJenson."
Uzi never misses.
The "In SPAAAAAACEEEE" Phrase is, I think is a reference to space core from portal 2 who says SPAAAAAAAAAAACEEEEE !!!!!!!!!

hmmmm but what about that plot armor tho
Rather than the company making this, I would direct you to who directed all of this, Liam Vickers, he's an animator that has a pilot for another series, Cliffside, and a few animatics for another concept series, Internecion Cube, that I would consider as the precursor of murder drones (3 short videos).
A lot of the humor and his attention to little details show in his other animations, so you'll probably enjoy them too.

Don’t forget about the fact that both the murder drones and vampires have problems with entering homes.
I mean, the nanites did completely reconstruct N's head, so it stands to reason that if allowed to propagate through her system, they could also reconstruct Uzi's entire body. As for the sun thing, maybe the nanites don't like solar radiation?
And I just saw you found the new ep. 😅
Also, yeah, the nanites are pretty good at healing...
Uzi spit on V at the end. Wonder of that is enough to heal a missing top half?
@@Airier Actually that was J she spit on. N took V prisoner because he likes her. As for J, I am pretty sure there's not enough left of her.
Surprised you didn’t mention the “aren’t you a little shot for a stormtrooper” reference!
... 😶🤔😨
I feel great shame at missing that.
She used N saliva to heal it
My theory on murder drones-
Healing saliva and tongue-
Their saliva is stored in their torso, so the tongue is like a sponge, when they suck on their wounds, the saliva just seeps out of the tongue. When N was shot, he rebuilt himself within a few seconds. J didn't, so that would be a means to call out she is probably dead.(I mean, her entire body is gone, except for her legs)
The doors/building and metal-
The metal on the pen is really durable like what was shown.
Their anatomy-
Their wings just don't make sense, so I'll skip that.
Clothes-
Idk how, but this was my first impression on their clothing.
The vampire trope-
Without oil, they will overheat and die.
The thing with Uzi-
Uzi is a rebellious angsty teen, watching anime and cool old shows.
Extra comments on your comments-
I put the video on loop and it looped like, 3 times
Bitches spitting out nonsense
Oh he actually found the AbsoluteSolver string in N and then in Uzi at the end, but in Uzi it goes from false to True
And the sun kills them because they overheat, but yes they are robots this also shows why they couldn’t enter the door since they weren’t invited until Uzi opened the door for N
35:37 and considering she dies in the pilot it just shows how much they care
In the last scene where Uzi glitches out and shows the yellow eye, there’s an important flash of text saying ‘source (something, text is obscured) [Tampering detected’
Just some food for thought
I am so glad that I'm not the only one that noticed they are like vampires.

But the gun was RIGHT THERE. And he just left her.
And then the whole thing he did was rendered useless because of the vents

With the saliva thing, I see it as a built in lubrication system…just like our own natural saliva. Just for machines instead.
They die from sunlight/ the sun because they overheat and oil helps them cool down to avoid overheating and once they finish their job their gonna die as well because of no oil/worker drones.

Others have already told you that Glitch has two other shows: MetaRunner and Sunset Paradise both of which are great, I still like this concept more but that’s just me and I’ve been a Liam Vickers fan for a while
I STILL hold out hope that Cliffside becomes an actual show one day
I figured they'd overheat in the sun and Uzi was modifying herself.
And when ya think about it, “Absolute” meaning “without exception” (effectively at least), and “Solver” meaning “one who brings an end” (contextually), it would literally mean “One who can bring an end without exception.”
Which actually might not even be necessarily referring to a restriction on killing humans.
@@JustinTK416 That makes sense!
Too much sense
13:13 Hey Hey Hey there is an explanation for why they don't rely on the eagles. The eagles don't answer to nobody they're not a taxi surface they're like demigods. The eagles would've been unstoppable! And finally the Eye of Sauran sees all and it's looking for the ring of power. a lot of us are WAY less forgiving towards Uzi's dad's cowardice.

It's called "Internecion Cube", and, despite it's storyboarded style, has a lot of the hidden messages which you really like from this one

Oh shit
9 new murder Drones
yeah the whole cant go in the sun thing is actually because they were built with under-par cooling systems so any significant heat will cause them to overheat and die
Target lock
Plot armor detected
Honestly refreshing when someone takes their time dissecting a good show
Oooh! The SALIVA! I didn't put together the robo-vampire saliva being contagious!
...in retrospect, NOW the latest trailer makes a looot more sense...
36:10 if you pay attention, it was Uzi that stuck J’s nanite injector into her leg
the reason why they can't go into the sun canonically the reason is, the disassembly drones run very hot, that's why they need oil and they were built like that so they would kill, if they didn't they would overheat and self destruct, which Uzi now has probably because of N's saliva anyways the sun would kill them because they have a cooling inefficiency problem, why? I don't know and the drones probably took too long and JC Jensen thought they must have died so they sent 9 more or 12 if you say one of the workers some how killed a disassembly drone
The secret member of film theory. I was searching for someone like you who would go into all the little details when reacting to this because as of now no one actually noticed all those details and sometimes couldn't understand some thing that happened due to that.
When J shoots at Uzi with the machine gun, for a brief second you can see Uzi's eye flash the AS symbol
Dude you were close with the murder drone part
You missed the voice actors! Michael Kovach plays N and Elsie Lovelock plays Uzi (both from Hazbin Hotel).
Btw, when Uzi uses the key, the door control thing says ouch. More hidden messeges.
You should check out their other series Meta Runner and Sunset Paradise.
if they are desperate for cooling oil then the sunlight might overheat them similar to someone cooking to death in the desert.
I realized that the murder drones are used like the white spikes in the movie tomorrow war, the obvious difference is one is organic the other is machine.
U missed some door text
When Uzi was saying “Close it, Close it”, the door said “Ouch” and other stuff i cant remember
You missed it but when the other two Murder Drones came into the room, N tossed Uzi, the female Worker Drone, aside and she landed behind that crate they showed N staring at for a second. Basically he hid her which of course went against his programing.
Due to they can overheat
The sun heat may kill them
dude this is such a good reaction
"Wouldn't that make her a murder drone or something?"
