Mam theorem tells us that the line from the center to chord which bisects the chord is perpendicular to chord and the line from center which is perpendicular to the chord bisects the chord no theorem says that the line from centre to chord perpendicular bisects the chord

Yea that is the same problem over here too....
I agree with you, big circle K andr hoga
This can directly done by multiplying the radius by 2 or twice of radius which is 2×3(radius of common chord) which is =6
Bete , yeh karne ke liye hame pehle yeh proof karna padega ki woh chord diameter hai( pass through center). It's not important that chord passes through centre.
Got it?
@@rameswarimohapatra3921 But sir if we draw a exact diagram,so the small circle who's radius is 3cm is in under the larger on who's radius is 5cm. As in question it is mentioned that the distance b\t their centers is 4cm from all this it is proved that the common chord is the diameter of circle.
@@kushi2832 agar 3 ki jagah 32cm hota to tum kya *Exact* radius leke *exact* diagram karte?? Ap agar ek simple sa question according fig banate ho, to it's not mandatory ki chord (common) centree se jate ho. Koi *professional* tutor ke paas jate ho to unko puchna.
@@rameswarimohapatra3921 well said bro correct!
@@damini2425 thank u... Ik am 💯 correct😃
I don't know if it is a correct method or not, I want you guys to check.
( I have changed naming a bit)
O'A = 5 CM
OA= 3CM
OO' = 4 CM
BY USING PYTHAGORAS THEOREM,
(OA)2= (O'A)2 - (O'O)2
(OA)2 = (5)2 - (4)2
(OA)2 = 25 - 16
(OA)2 = 9
OA = 3 CM
AS YOU KNOW, OA=OB= 3CM
AB = OA + OB
AB = 3CM + 3CM = 6CM
PLEASE ANYONE CHECK THIS METHOD AND SAY IF IT'S CORRECT OR NOT!
Yes its correct

@@coolkiddooo7189 I think the method is not correct but I'm not sure, I think Pythagoras Theorem only works for right angled triamgles.

AO'2=AO2+OO'2
[5]2=AO2+[4]2
25-16=AO2
9=AO2

I think I have a more easier way for this question what u can do is u can obtain the area of traingle OAÓ by herons formula it comes out to 6cm² then u can find the height by this formula
Area of a traingle=½×b×h
Put the area as 6 and base as 4 cm
Then u will get height as 3cm and then double it and u will get the length of AB
Dont thank me😉😉

Ma'am, kindly check this answer ,it's correct but the method seems to be too complicated. As we have given the radius of bigger circle is 5 cm and the distance between the centres of two circles is 4 cm so the centre of smaller circle must be inside of bigger circle.
It's a humble request to check this out
The difference is none tbh
They had not said that it is a concentric circle sharing same centre so I think it is correct...
@@robloxplayer2924 but it doesnt make sense
@@superbfacts4786 Yeah I understand now... but the difference is none if we see mathematically... both the solutions are right though so it doesn't matter if the circle is inside or outside the bigger circle.
