Indeed! Oh yes it is , I listen to it every morning when i walk to the bus stop just because it cherish me up and motivates me as I try to make it trough the day. Skål from Sweden.
i think this song was written years ago by a friend of mine from belfast whose name was brian doherty who sang professionally under the name of brian anthony....i heard him sing it in a carnegie hall benefit concert in nyc, for the children of belfast....long time ago, god love you, brian and r.i.p..
for 11 centuries they have tried to break the Irish people though u can never break the will of a people with the truth on there side ..an problacht Abu ...tal beir bua🇮🇪32
We all need to be reunited, but not spill Irish blood with this attempt. We need to be one voice.....One loud voice that all will hear. NO VIOLENCE!! That hurts all! I long for a Free Land as you all do. We will see it!!!
Great song. Wolfhound are up there with the best of the best Irish Rebel groups. I actually feel sorry for people like Ulsterprod and his fellow bigots. They're a fearful race struggling to find an identity in the face of ever ascending Irish Republicanism. Won't be long now 'til a United Ireland. The tide can't be stemmed just ike the song says.
No prob mate. Yeah, She's gone. Now less riots for England! Possibly Northern Ireland as well. But the Irish riots will definitely calm down when Ian Pasley goes. But we don't know when that will be. So, we better just enjoy life as it comes. This is a really good song!
@alikira Sarsfields, Fri 23rd, Lenadoon cultural society hosting a talk about the 1916 uprising with session music to follow, might even hear this song, although no one could emulate Ray and Danny,
In terms of DNA the Celts are the Irish only, Modern Scottish DNA shows they are far more like the English and Welsh. But thats unsurprising since immigrants to Scotland over the past centuries have been mainly English.
@celticfc11000 You are the one who mentioned "culture", not I. In fact, I noted only pride in the history and achievements of my people. As an Irish Protestant, I love the literature and traditional music of Ireland; it is popery and socialism that I despise. You see, I am not one of the "Ulster-Scots" descended from the 17th century plantation. My ancestry is pure Irish from Cavan traced back more than 600 years. Thank God, one branch of my family embraced the Reformed Faith 200 years ago.
@Nunquam Non Paratus Look if I were against the Irish I wouldn't be watching a video called "Ireland United Gaelic and Free - Ray McAreavey" I was simply making an immature joke that Americans are immature. I wasn't making fun of the Irish I was making fun of Americans.
@irishsongsandlyrics Spare me your pity; I do not need it. The Ulster Protestants are not struggling to find identity. We are proud of our history and achievements. All the machinations, subterfuge and mendacity of the republicans will never force us to give up our six counties.
@12hiddendragons "the brits got smoked"! in the War of Independence!!? hahahaha the same war that led to the creation of Northern Ireland?? You must be a Yank hahahahaha
