So he didn´t define their relationship and give to her a car as a gift and almost give her a credit card....it´s almost like to say "I´m not sure but for now, you are more like a lover status". She did well to didn´t accept the credit card x_x

In time you will find there is no such thing as getting something for nothing, there is always a cost. In this case a man will expect you to put up with whatever he does because he knows you love the material things and when you don't the gravy train halts and if you do put up with it the cost is your self respect. They aren't gifts they are down payments on owning her. and the more she takes the less say she has in te relationship.

Not sure how she's squandering the ex's money when every single one of her paychecks have gone into the account he controls. Before she didn't buy much for herself just for the household. Like she said all the deliveries except for the face masks, which was something new she was buying, and the phone case the rest was for the house. For three years she has put the money she earned into the joint account and spent little on herself. He's spent more money on his fish then she's spent on herself for three years. Also as she said all the money she's spending on herself she's deducting from her divorce settlement. There were also four entities in the marriage. Him, her, her mother and his fish. With the way he treats the fish every time he doesn't want to deal with something they might as well be the other women. Their lack of communication is the reason their relationship died.

I'm liking Xiao Qin' less and less, she has two very different faces, with her mom at times and with Chen Yu she's snotty mean and entitled and with her girl friends she does the cute helpless little doll routine. She has no reason to be so hateful to her ex-husband the marriage just didn't work out, it's not like he abused her, spent all her money on gambling, was falling down drunk all the time or cheated on her. I just get the feeling she gets mean and nasty when she doesn't get her way and isn't treated like a coddled little princess. The divorce wasn't all his fault and if she treated everyone like she treated her ex when they were married she wouldn't have a friend in the world. He was very kind about the settlement and went out of his way not to make it rough on her and the way she acted about using his credit card really set my teeth on edge, if I was him I would have canceled the damn thing and told her to kick rocks. I know everyone will slam me for saying all this, but she's really started grating on my nerves I guess because I don't like two faced people.
Man Ni needs to RUN, that man she's seeing isn't looking very promising and generally when something seems too good to be true it's because it's too bad to be fake.
Well look at the fact when her parents sat both of them down to find out the truth from both of them. Did she act childish, mean and snotty and two faced? No, she said nothing bad about her ex-husband but just the truth. Her parents are just misleading her to get back together and even though he saved her on the island people like him can always pretend to show a good side.

He didn't bad mouth her either, he played along with her trying to deceive her parents to save her face. She is constantly screaming at him and being very nasty and spiteful no matter what he does, goof bad or indifferent. He's done nothing to her to deserve the level of hate and vitriol she's been directing at him and it's kind of repulsive.
He split the house which he didn't have to do and she was grateful for all of two seconds, but that's how she has been acting just constantly taking him for granted and ordering him around, like that bit of highhanded nastiness when he hadn't packed her things. Her biggest problem is she has been spoiled rotten and is very immature because she's always gotten her way by acting the cute little baby, but she is thirty now and that act is old.
We shall just have to agree to disagree on this subject I'm afraid.

Although she isn't perfect, I believe Xiao Qin is better character because she loved and needed empathy for losing her child. Her friends had empathy and showed sympathy for her. Not Chen yu and his brother. Chen xu, Chen yu's brother didn't give a damn.he just constantly annoying anyway. He always shows up just pestering her to stay and get back with Chen yu. This manipulates her to think he is a good man when he is not. He didn't want children then why did he marry her in the first place?

He acted like it was his house to begin with? Even though she didn't move out at first? He acted like he was entitled to the house and acted like everything belongs to him even though he split everything between them. Of course she behaved this way when he acted worse than her. I'm in defense of her rather than the narcissistic Chen yu because narcissist can pretend to act nice to people. Yes, he only did two good things but that doesn’t neglect the fact she lacks thinking skills for herself to be independent of others. It doesn't neglect that he could be pretending to be nice to her just to get her back. Even his brother is backing up his narcissistic behavior and trying to get her back with him. So Chen yu and his brother are part of the problem in the story anyway. I believe the writers could have introduced her learning to think for herself and the three triad personalities as a way of growth to be wary of these two men she could only choose from in the story. The writers only gave her these two men in the story it seems like there were no other choices for her. Now it seems that she has to go back to her ex-husband? The writers make her a flat character because she doesn't grow, change or learn from the experiences she has to overcome.
I felt this doesn't give her depth as a character. I like her character better than the men the writers force her to choose from. If the writers presented another male character her age whose character resembled gu Jia, who could teach her and help her to grow it would have given her depth and roundedness of character that would have been better for the story, instead of continously making her a flat character as the writers make her to be. . As gu Jia is full of many talents, abilities and wisdom. A male character who matched gu Jia would have shown a balance for Xiao Qin to make her to fully grow and develop.
The sad part is she has only two men to choose from. With Shanghai being a huge city. No other men could have been presented as a balance for her to have a relationship and marriage? One who wants a family with her? I think the writers could have done better with this part. Yet Xiao Qin's parents don't help much either. They don't have any knowledge of these three triad personalities. Not all parents teach their children right or give good advice or guidance. If you want to blame someone, blame her parents. Her parents are part of the problem as well for making her go back to her ex-husband. Like things are going to change if she gets back with him.
So according to you, every person in the world is two faced, including all the lead female characters in this story. Not just Xiao Qin. I don't believe Xiao Qin is two faced, not for one second. If this is what you believe. I believe then your argument is rather weak on your opinion.

I also don't need your approval to have an opinion on a FICTIONAL character, so if you cannot handle someone having a view contrary to yours I suggest you shove your sarcasm where you keep your opinions and don't read comments.
I'm starting to dislike Xiao Qin's coworker. He is not just childish but doesn't respect her. I believe there will be trouble ahead if they get into a relationship or marriage. She needs to be brave and set boundaries by telling him she isn't interested in him. She has already told him she doesn't like his childish behavior. I feel he will end up hurting her in the end. He constantly bothers her in a very negative way. These are reasons I'm starting to hate her coworker. There is a difference between making a woman laugh and playing jokes on her to irritate her.
He showing signs of a psychopath. He in fact is really torturing her (psychopaths torture people). Sad. I hope she can do something about it. Plus he constantly follows and stalks her from time to time. He is showing red flags already. I see nothing positive about this guy. His repetitive behavior can be irritating.
She just ended a relationship and marriage with an uncaring, emotionally detached person who is self centered (narcissistic). She doesn't need a person who has a three triad personality (narcissistic, sociopath and psychopath). I see she is a humble carefree introvert.
It seems introvert people like me seems to always magnetize these wicked people.
