So - there’s three brothers, a priest, a junkie and a cop… Love love LOVE this series! Classic British drama is soooo much better than what’s on offer today 🥰
While making this Janus & Womack got together... well Womack left his wife and 2 kids for Janus and they went on to get married and have 2 kids and are still married now
Great TV - powerful and moving. The quality is so much higher than the crap churned out today. Our culture has deteriorated over the last couple of decades.
Does anyone know the name of the female singer & the song at the end of this Episode please. I can't seem to find it anywhere, lyrics are, what ever did I do to hurt you, what ever did I say to push you away.
Yep remember watching this first time round ... not a Janus fan but tbh she’s good in this then she ever was in eastenders and she was good in game on as well
The ending of this threw me a bit, when Ian mcneice is leading them, I’m thinking he knows what the other young boy has done, and has confined in him, I don’t think they’re letting him lead them to the body without him being in handcuffs etc. ok I know he wouldn’t get very far but I still don’t think this is how it would go down?! It makes more sense that the other kid did it anyway?!
Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view!" Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam." Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!" Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..." Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!" Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky." Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction." Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment ?"

What's with the one Catholic brother making the sign of the cross correctly and the other brother making it backward...🤷♀️?
was thinking the same.....
Christian Orthodox do it left to right, Catholics right to left. Pretty sure it's not the case in this show, just ignorance on the director's part.

She’s absolutely gorgeous in this aswell so id give her acting a pass anyday 🤣
I wonder why this series never had a 3rd series
