What's up Doc? Would love to see one of your overhead view tutorials, not on the main parts, but on the two keyboard solo sections. They look really daunting on the sheets, but you have made both of them look easy while remaining remarkably faithful to the original recording. Would also love to see other tutorials from this apex of jazz albums. I've got most of Skating, for example, but not the solo, and only very slowly (at a tempo almost defeating the composer's purpose). Best wishes and Happy Holidays!
Thanks, I've been playing it for 40+ years and still refining the solos! Hard to reproduce the Master. Hadn't thought about tutorials for the Peanuts stuff, but it is that time of year. I just did this video because I love the music, wasn't even thinking of tutorials then. Things are a little crazy now, but I'll add it to the list.
The parts were all played by me and recorded to the sequencer. I found a drum kit with good brushes and put that down first, then the acoustic bass, then played the piano part live over that. Thanks for watching and asking! Maybe I’ll try a Christmas tune from Vince next!

@@jbradymd Thanks for the info. My Kronos 2 88 just arrived a few days ago and I'm learning where everything is. I know Linus and Lucy as well and would like to do something like what you've done. Good to know all of that is in there. Which program or combo is the drum kit under that you used? Thanks
@@XJRMANIAC Here is a link to the sequence file for Linus & Lucy and also Oh Good Grief. Copy it to a thumb drive, then insert it into the Kronos. Go to the disc function and find the file on the external drive and select LOAD from the Ultility menu. Then when you go to the sequence mode on your Kronos, they should both be there with the instrument patches, etc. You can mute the piano parts and play along or record your own parts. The instrument selections will all be there - they are all factory. It will get you started with learning the bottomless pit that is the Kronos!
