i literally have been running 5 Wide out of Gun Empty Trey Flex the last month to get ready for CFB 25. It's such a fun offense and you cant really blitz me and nobody has 3-4 Bottlenecks so if the outside corners have it i just target my Slot or TE.
I’ve been looking for a new playbook to run two back sets so this is perfect! Was messing with spread but not super crazy about it. I like to pass mostly but just want to try a new style
I truly believe that the reason that split close is not as good as it used to be is simply just based off of the routes you can actually put on the field mixed with the fact that they added zone drops. in previous maddens, you could make concepts that would be able to beat stock coverages. now with all the drops and the double mable and what not it kind of makes it impossible to run that formation
I think Gun Split Close was like my most called formation back in Madden 25/15/16 era. It was always money for me. Think this is also in niner's playbook as well now too.
I tried running it this year but I kept getting boxed, do you think it can honestly be used in a genuine competitive setting nowadays? - btw it’s also in the niners, they have read option outta this formation

The thing about Bunch and trips is that they make offense easy. I haven’t played someone who stays in this formation all game. Trips and Bunch are way too meta
Civ u said in ur tweets motion snapping was good but in 25 beta it feels bad and i have to wait for stuff i could snapp in 24
I haven’t played the beta, but I’ve seen a play where there was a motion built into the play and like it didn’t have a pause, it snapped while the receiver was running, maybe that’s what he meant?
