I like the Plan 8888 reference. If you don't know about Plan 8888, it is a real contingency plan the US has to deal with a zombie apocalypse. It is used to teach new officers about how coningency plans works. And I love how Drew was here, and blasting the zombies with a sniper rifle.

I think creator said we may get some of that shortly, like where the fog comes from and why the zombies are smart. I noticed in the episode where America and Mexico fought on the golden gate, the killed zombies had brains that looked very pink and very alive, which would seem to indicate higher intelligence. I could be looking into it to much but a lot of the details so far have been there for a reason.

Im glad that a lot of effort are put into these. Very entertaining to watch. These are better than most zombies movies and lore. The armies are smarter and more realistic. I like this series, keep it up.
I think we need to appreciate that Andjobe decided to start the outbreak in the United States via the west coast instead of the east coast. Not saying that starting the contagion in the east coast is bad but it has become a trope in the genre overall and seeing a different start point is somewhat refreshing.

Love this absolutely wonderful but I just wanted to say for people that don't know. If a zombie apocalypse happened, society would be thrown into chaos. People would be afraid for their safety and would struggle to protect their families and themselves from the zombie hordes. Many would try to find safe havens to hide away from the zombie onslaught, and governments would be forced to take emergency action to protect their citizens. It would be difficult to maintain order, food and other resources would become scarce, and the living would have to battle with the undead to survive. Ultimately, it would depend on the location, how quickly authorities responded, and how effective their response was.

so i've been looking at the europe map of where the zombies are and i'd like to make a suggestion: Since the zombies are mostly in italy, europe should prioriotize the defence of slovenia and austria since slovenia is the only country that doesn't have a natural alpine border with italy (at least in the southern part) and the zombies would have much harder time going through the alps than the lowlands where slovenia borders it so europe should make a defence line over there
another idea is for the military of the united states and other non-infected countries to re-activate any and all ww2 warships with heavy cannons such as battleships to provide shore bombardment cover and for ships such as destroyers and some cruisers go up rivers to provide close gun support. Also in regards to forests and fog due to zombies, bombers should be re-activated and do high altitude strategic bombing to create firestorms such as the ones that were caused in Tokyo and Dresden during ww2 these fires combined with conventional explosives would in theory incinerate any and all infected as well as deprive them of cover for their advance. Also in any places with active or dormant volcanoes engineers should begin mining and setting explosive charges so that the volcanoes can be made to erupt thus using nature itself to stop the spread. In terms of WMD's chemical weapons might be effective in some cases to weaken but not kill the zombies and nuclear weapons in the form of N2 mines could be use as a last resort. Tank groups should be placed in places where there is flat and decent terrain, while APC's and light armor should be used for urban. Mortar and Artillery should be set up in conjunction with HMG's in places with natural chokepoints as well as places where they have good fields of fire. For mines, setting up modified anti-tank and anti-personal mines should be set up around the boundaries of forests on the front lines while trenches dug and filled with gasoline or flammable liquids to provide more defence can be a good plan. The most important thing however is to set up fortifications at any and all airports or seaports with rapid response units within reasonable distance of each one to provide an active reserve incase of more infected. Moreover, civilians in non infected areas who have no combat or survival training should be evacuated towards the center of the country where major fortifications should be implemented to provide the military and other combatants with ease of movement and to deprive the zombies of more possible infectors.
