Been in the advertising profession for over 30 years. Brilliant campaign illustrating how one brand can easily work for all ages. Simplicity always works, but few understand the power of its brilliance or the bravery to push for it. Kudos to the creative team that conceived this campaign. Been wearing Lacoste for over 40 years. Love the brand.

Love the ad, but sadly, the intergenerational marketing does not carry over to the website, or Instagram, where there are only very young, very thin models. Perhaps the desired market? But I'd bet that most of the sales come from customers who do not look like those on the website.

@@popularpublicity5826 Haven't been to their digital properties, but I can see how the digital side could come up short. But then again, I wouldn't consider Instagram a target platform for an older demo. Ultimately, if the campaign doesn't yield increased brand awareness numbers and/or sales, it's a fail. Either way, I like what they did visually with the two distinct age groups. Hard to make a twenty-something and a seventy-something both look hip in the same spot.

However, the music from 0:16 to the end, although part of apache, seemed to rind a bell and I think it's been first used in the song also called Apache, but older, by The Ventures: ua-cam.com/video/ClYdDcc8pPA/v-deo.html. I guess the song Apache evolved and has been done by many groups...
