It's 2024, I'm still rocking out to STEPS! This amazing group holds a special place in my heart because they were such a huge part of my childhood. I can vividly recall being a carefree and innocent three-year-old, constantly pleading with my neighbor to play the STEPS concert at the M.E.N Arena - The Next Step Tour in 1999. Back then, we didn't even own a CD player and the CD disc itself, so being able to watch them was a real treat. I would eagerly watch their performances, attempting to imitate their dance moves and singing along with such enthusiasm that the CD would end up scratched and damaged. But the thrill of watching them perform, even on a CD player, was always worth it. It truly felt like I was right there at the concert.
A trip down memory lane. Reminiscing my childhood days by re-watching these concert clips. We used to have a lot of cdʼs of STEPS' concerts. And this one in particular, is my favorite concert of them though I was born 2 years after this concert. 😅 I watched, sing and dance to this every single day as a kid. They're like my childhood dream. Thank you STEPS for being part of my childhood, I really love you all even now. You are my first love and the sole reason I like singing. ❤
I used to own a VCD copy of this concert and I used to watch it everyday at 1pm. Hahaha those were the days.

Me and my childhood bff used to watch this concert EVERY SINGLE DAY.....yes, everyday. We used to dance and sing in front of their tv. My dad bought me a vcd of this so that I can watch this amazing concert at home😅🤣

This is still the best tour I've ever been to, it had so much energy to it that it was infectious! I've been to many tours over the years- even went to the Spiceworld Tour before Geri left so I saw all 5 of them at the height of their phenomenon but I still prefer this over that! I went to Steps first 4 tours, from small theatres to massive arenas. Amazing. They certainly know how to put on a show ❤ I took a disposable camera to this tour and the security guards let me go right up to the stage to take photos, they weren't bothered in the slightest! Steps saw me and they made sure to look right at my camera for a photo during Better The Devil You Know!

@@T4ylorG I'd love to but I'm nearing 40 and all these old photos are in so many boxes and would need to be digitised! I'll never forget them though- Claire never had a long ponytail, she had her short natural hair in bunches and Faye never had these braids hanging down, they were all pulled back tightly on her head. Lisa had the same hair as this video though. Can't believe how small she is in real life!
Damn. I was solidly in my teens when they were big, and for some reason back then I had a huge crush on H. And now that I'm older, he is even better looking now. But claire is the most stunning woman, and that voice.
I remember watching this live on cable. Was kinda unexpected the way Steps seemed to blow up overnight. I went to their first tour which was a theatre tour and then not too long after they were selling out arenas on this tour. I still have loads of photos that I took at this tour. My little sister loved Steps too. Even though she was only 3/4 years old, she used to get her hair styled like Lisas and we had to call her 'Lisa From Steps' not just 'Lisa' 😂 So cute lol

Claire's voice is powerful and amazing, but sorry to burst your bubble, these high energy, choregraphed dance numbers like this one were all 100% lip synched. They did the slower songs live though.

STEPS has a lot of fans here in the Philippines. I grew up listening to their music. Starting when I was 8 years old until now that I'm 24 😍. I hope they will have a concert here in the Philippines.

Every time you guys start singing I have the biggest smile on my face and I get goosebumps. Love you steps. Been a steps fan since the beginning, I was 14 and now I’m 38 and a very proud Steps fan. I was just in kindergarten at that time because my mom and dad bought me the dvd of the concert when mom was in college and dad bought it in manila at that time.And I remember watching it day and night and even the music videos non-stop. I also remember all of the dance steps and my mom was suddenly dance by herself when song begins.Until today, my cousins,my brother, and my classmates were started to enjoy when I play the music.
