      Because this is fun to them/basically the meaning of their lives. Border collies, even as house pets, will instinctively 'herd' gatherings of kids, other dogs and all sorts of stuff. Its hard-wired in them to love this stuff.
      Its the same principle as generic hunting; yea dogs dont need a salary for being used as hunting dogs because hunting is the secret wet dream or central evolutionary fantasy of any doggie big or small. Its amazing imo.Imagine living one hundred percent in accordance with a singular desire of yours. These animals are lucky, we're the unfortunate ones for working full time jobs so we can pay to get by instead of just loving every moment of every day because you get to do what you're meant to do.

    This is exactly what my fiance and I have talked about (in fun) regarding our 3 dogs. His Labrador is shy and submissive. But she's 85 pounds and has a huge bark.
    My Boxer/Great Pyrenees is bold and protective. He's a big boy, too, though he's not fully grown. But he's my service dog. So I don't want him to stray far from me. He will definitely posture and bark and growl. And he'd leave my side to guard if I asked him to. But I prefer him by me.
    Our third dog is a Black Mouth Curr mix. She's a puppy still, but she's absolutely fearless. She's very bold and assertive already. From her size already she will probably be fairly large too. And there will be no stopping her from charging out to warn the intruder that ... she has a big brother and a big sister behind her. 😂

      Its better then people being forced to actively exterminate them. man and wolf have been living side by side for thousands of years. More ranch owners need to get livestock guardian dogs and get back to the more sustainable way of ranching our forefathers did.

    Had to do with one of these unintentionally. I was visiting a friend on her farm. On arrival, I was greeted very friendly from one of the big guys, while my friend came out of the house to welcome me. .. So far so good. But when I wanted to leave and got out of the house and my friend was not beside me, that big dog fellow decided, that I was not allowed to leave... The way to my car was blocked. 10 feet away from the car..no problem... 8 feet ... kind of a growling and a look like "dont try it". 6 feet away..."you really should not get any closer".. So, I waited... five minutes...the dog did not move an inch.. and I had to call my friend..she came.."Oh, I forgot, sorry.... :)" Then the dog let me open the door of my car an I could drive away.

    A peaceful moment for this kind of situation, but there are also instances where the packs will fight it out with the guard dogs, and the result is a stark reminder of how savage the wild world is - it's a really brutal and gut wrenching result. These canines are either being put in harms way to protect our resources, or they are fighting against starvation every day - please respect them and respect nature.

      Eh, a Pyrenees dog would tear up an Asiatic wolf in a 1v1, but a group of them or a North American wolf would be a problem.

    • @huldu
      @huldu День тому +9

      Wolves like dogs are pack animals and that's the important thing to realize. Wolves and dogs are the same thing at the end of the day. The dogs are defending a territory just like the wolves would be doing in the wild if the situation were reversed. Like always animals tend to avoid conflict if possible unless mating to some degree is involved. A dog can scare off a bear in the same way but things can change especially as we humans encroach on wild predators borders and they become accustomed to us and our pets. At that point the innate fear is gone and in case of polar bears, even humans are on the menu.

    • @mediocregamer2484
      @mediocregamer2484 День тому +9

      Depends on the species/size of wolf and the numbers each group has, I think. Bigger wolves could brute force a sheep or two from a bunch of guard dogs but not without risk. The reward of eating has to be greater than the risk of getting injured and impeding future hunting. Not to mention, if they're desperate, that means they're starving; and if they're starving, that means they're weak.

    Bueno, los lobos también tiene derecho a comer, si los seres humanos se apropian de sus terrenos con la ganadería es completamente su culpa. Eso sí, si los lobos se empiezan a extinguir, ahí todos estan chillando por su desaparición. Patéticos.

    God loves you and cares for you so that this message reaches you. God is the one who created this large universe and controls it completely. The greatest loss a person loses in this life is that he lives without knowing God who created him and knowing the Messenger of Muhammad, the last of the messengers, and the Islamic religion, the last of the heavenly religions. Great intelligence, before you believe in something or not, is to read it, study it, and understand it well, and after that you have the choice to believe in it or not to believe in it. I advise you to do this now, before you no longer have time to do so. Life is very short. It is just a test, just a passage to eternal life. Great advice to those who... Understands
