I had fun Jen and thanks for the time. You're a great interviewer. Since the release of this document, I have listened to many people speak with an authority on this topic that is for me quite interesting. Most of those who have propagated information on the topic of the affiliation between CIA and Monroe Institute have only half the story. Although it was before my time, I know enough about it through working with Bob. I think the time has come to tell the truth of this amazing part of the Institute's history.IMHO, the truth is much better than the fiction anyway. Thanks for helping to spread the truth. -Mark

The gateway tapes are way addictive for psyconaughts
I thought it would be a unique opportunity to share my first experience with the possibility of someone on the team seeing it. Yesterday I listened to and participated in tapes 1-3. During tape 2 while my mind was free and light, I was able to experience something I can't explain well.
During times when my brain could release it's focus and be free, I could see black and white lights pulsing to the sound of the audio. I felt the pulsing audio keep my mind awake while my body was asleep.
During the loudest part of the pulsing audio, the light drew towards the middle of my focus. At one point it was somewhat intense. Almost as if my body didn't want it to happen. My heart was pumping hard, my eyes were twitching some. I remember seeing the bottom of my mind's vision light up with a slight curve. The light was brighter at the bottom. I'm not sure what happened directly after that but my mind was then hyper focused. It seemed as though it was searching for something to focus on but I had nothing. I remember it trying to focus around this colorless light of shapes. I know this sounds cliche but it reminded me of how the eye moved in Lord of the Rings. The tape brought me out of it. This is all very new to me and I'm not sure where to go with it.
I was distracted during tape 3 and didn't work.
I visited the website but wasn't able to "join" or create a login, I was just asked to sign in with my credentials as if I was a member already, is there something wrong with the page?

The gateway experience has literally changed my life. I am 41 years old and have Out of body experience since I was about 7. I thought it was sleep paralysis and night terrors until recently. I have always been sensitive to surroundings and could feel people's feelings and read them but never understood and kept it to myself because I questioned my sanity. I experienced a very real unexplainable thing that I never would have took seriously and it began my journey. We are capable of so much more but have been programmed to do as we're told. Gateway experience taught me my purpose and that I can do anything I want. It taught me how to fully control my O.B.E and that our bodies are just receivers. Frequency is literally everything. We are only here to experience physical things for a moment. We have more amazing things to experience when we leave this life.
I didn't know it was out of body experience until I encounter gateway experience and meditate using such tapes. Til then I have come to realize I had OBE since I was 10 or 11 😅, at that time family couldn't understand what I tried to explain and took me to mental hospital for kinda scanning brain test 😂. But nothing figured out.
By the way, it seems I was experiencing such things in previous life - so then this lifetime I do meditation intensely at very young age. And few recent days, I encounter Gateway experience tapes - feeling energy shifted so strong... Can't wait to experience further more ❤.
We may miss the physical interaction and sensation in this realm.

You just described me. I don't know about that gateway stuff tho i only looked at the comments. But i also have that sesitivity. Ok... soo... a couple days ago i woke up at night and a young boy was lying face to face with me. He touched my face and i could feel every sensation. I said "you scare me". He was gone. Later i woke up again to the same scenario. He kissed me on the cheek and said "i love you". Confused as i was i said "i love you too but go into the light" (probably a pretty dumb thing to say). It just left me confused. It was 100% real to me and i had this all my life. OBEs when i was a child. Seeing shadow people move. I don't know man... anyways... i usually don't share that.

The Gateway experience took me from living paycheck to paycheck to living an abundant life in all facets. Money flows to me in an ever increasing manor each month. The happiness I experience is euphoric at times. I have times where I'm in the moment and I can feel memories being made. I can feel manifestations synchronizing in my life. It's quite amazing and humbling. The gratitude I have for life and the little things have increased my happiness and I don't feel stress or the feeling of being rushed. It's a remarkable program and has allowed me to open up more and not be such an introvert. It's provided positive and continual growth opportunities for my life. So grateful and feel like my purpose in life is being fulfilled.

I used to astral project during naptime in kindergarten. It happened naturally, i would lay on my mat, and simply imagine i was playing on the merry go round. Spinning in my mind, feeling the momentum build, and boom id get flung out of my body
This stuff is just meditation , if u mediate before sleeping youll lucid dream use binureal beats while mediating youll astral project.

I used the Gateway process over 20 years ago. They were not easy but very good once you get a hang of it. My most impressive achievement / experience was having a Bi-Location experience where the other person felt my presence in their house while I was in my house. I felt the room, floor, temperature with full vision as if I was in the house while also being at home at the same time. It was amazing but needs regular practice. I was busy working and it fell behind me over time and I haven't done it for some years now. I recommend it for anyone who wants to explore themselves and life.....

I've been using the tapes but find it difficult to get to Focus 10 despite repeating the tape many, many times. Will keep trying though and hopefully it comes in time.
today i was doing menial tasks at work and suddenly thought about a specific customer. hadn't seen him in some time and said to my boss "hey, we have seen jay suchandsuch in awhile i bet he comes in soon.".....i kid you not, jay suchandsuch walked through the door not even 15 minutes later 😂
spooked the crap out of my boss. i told her quantum physics dictates we are all connected. she looked at me like i was coocoo😂😂
Had an out of body once. Thought of seeing space. Shot straight up there. I was overwhelmed by the sheer visuals , mainly the void of blackness. So much black. I got scared shirtless and thought of escape. Instantly, I flew back to my body. Never was able to replicate it again. Although meditation does miracles for me for clarity , focus and balance .

Doing the gateway experience, with some of the trained faculty from the Monroe institute, was literally one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in this life… i do an exercise or 2 every day
I look forward to going to the Monroe Inst. Can you tell me a little more about the course you attended ? Time of year, cost etc ?
What made it different from following the tapes at home?
@@MagneticMan369 the group dynamics, meeting some of the group on the astral plane, having the same visions, feeling deep love for everyone
@@MagneticMan369 you are doing about 5 sessions a day, you don't have any interruptions, there is an energy in Virginia. It could be a portal now. It's important to use Hemi-Sync before you go so you don't sleep the first couple days awake. Like Mark mentions you want your body to be asleep while your mind is awake.
When i was a Young man, about 19-20 i feel the need of quietness and i put a Meditation Sound from my old samsung Phone on and tried to empty my mind. After a fiew minutes i Fly out of myself like a drone and was able to See me laying on my bed. Like a reflex i jumped up and i was so surprised. After try it many times again i was able to Experience it again and i „flew“ through my window out up in the air quiet high and was overlooking my hole postal code area. Then i thought about how high i am flying and the reflex was kicking in again. I jumped up in my bed again. After that Experience i was never again able to leave my Body as the „drone“. İ was wondering if it was Imagination. My Brother opened the Google satelite thing for me and it was literally the Same. Every garden of every neighbor. The shape of the roofs. Even things on roofs that i never saw before and couldnt have known.
There is other things i am able to do that Nobody can explain or Even believe that i was able to develop over time but i Keep it for myself. I am tired of people thinking that i am Crazy.
I had it twice, one flying to the roof of the house and the second to the atmosphere, I was able to see the circumference of the earth, the sensation of peace and love in that moment was unique, since then I wasn't able to experience that

Some people that have been killed , they can t leave their body so easily , some people that get out of body sometimes Go to cemiteries to help those spirts
26 minutes in and I realized I was doing this at a young age when I "prayed." I grew up Baptist and thought something was wrong with me because when I "prayed" I questioned if I really existed physically. LOL you know I never told anyone. I just enjoyed the experience.
This is amazing.. I've been practicing with the Gateway tapes for the past 2 years, and they've really opened my eyes to a lot of things I never noticed around me before. It has also helped me to cope a great deal with the major loss I've had in my family in recent years. It is a very useful process.

I also attend the Ramtha school and Ramtha teaches the concept of" Consciousness and Energy create the nature of reality", just right how you understand it. So many parallels here... Thanks for your great work 🙂
One big barrier you need to cross is to not have expectations. You need self discipline and an open mind when starting, or you will quickly loose interest. The Gateway Experience is paradoxical in nature. Your desire to explore intensifies as you become more willing to release any attachment to results. Once you start to master the techniques, you will then be able to do some amazing things, and not even need the audio.
@@The_Sage_of_Six_Paths Understand. I have been using a light and sound Hemi Sync mind machine, David Paradise, for over 20 years now, and it builds all that. Connecting neurons that are not normally connected I think, so yes, it is a BIG journey. I really feel and see the difference in my personal development and in particular spiritual understanding. And, the OOBE's are a bonus that I love and enjoy. Rob Monroe was a big inspiration.

I had a spontaneous out of body experience when I was 17, brought on by extreme sadness and exhaustion, when I realized I was out of my body I got scared and immediately was bk in my body, and though I've done alot of traveling in the Astral, I've never had another experience quite like that first time. Bob also clearly elucidates the fear barrier i.e. “I’m dying, and I know it,” and hence retraction from the desired states. Armed with the blessed knowledge that Bob was still alive (when he communicated these maxims, hence I had no reason to fear), his methods worked for me the first time I tried in around 1991 or 1992. I knew then that what humans call death is not the case.
Though it makes me no better or worse of a person, there are things that I’ve experienced that unless others experience, they can have zero idea regarding. Such is the nature of open secrets - only the steadfast and courageous need apply! And…I’m still here too so you can take that and beat fear up with it. Again: remain calm, you will not die is the key!!!
I got to the state of buzzing and then felt like my chest was being pulled upward. That scared me right out of the experience. Never could get back to that state. BUT, the curse of it seems to be that my mind stays awake most nights while my body sleeps. I do seems to be able to think and concentrate about problems during the night and get an idea of what to do. I guess the old saying of "sleep on it" comes from that. I also am a musician and get music and lyrics that come to me sometimes all night. I thought I was going crazy until I watched an interview between two studio engineers and they talked about the fact that some artists only want to work during the night as they seem to be much more creative. That was very reassuring to me that what I experience is a real thing. I have to add that in no way can I control it.
Buzzing is the authentic sign of the beginning of the process. Know that you won’t die and that you must allow for the natural process to continue without retraction. Also seeking to “get back “to states experienced prior will potentially deter one from proceeding as all experiences must be had a fresh and a new without any “grasping “for prior experiences. Essentially let go and then keep letting go. There are so much cultural conditioning and hoopla that tries to tell a person that yhey will surely die, but you will always return back to the physical as desired
I agree. Having an OBE conscious or otherwise does not make one a better person. It does alleviate the primal fear of death however if well integrated. The content experienced in an OBE if explored can also bring about major paradigm and belief system shifts if integrated. I such cases, that can make people more aware and thus, a more compassionate person. Often times, that requires a bit of shadow work. :-)

I did the Gateway process for the first time 3 months ago and entered the hologram on first attempt and yes as soon as I was there I got scared and returned to my body. I think I got scared because I had no plan when I got there as my only plan was to see if I could get there. Great interview will check out the triad mind.

What resonated with me the most in the gateway process and Monroe book was the "absolute", I was born with memories from somewhere else and not only one place or one time, and I'm one of those that remember the "red room" , enough memories to feel like at birth, my parents weren't mine. But what I remember the most is the feeling of being pulled in and out of this reality, like a g force you can't put on a scale but with a soft and instant landing since you're not matter anymore, I remember feeling it twice, when I died in my last life and when I came to life in this one. I went skydiving in my twenties, couldn't reproduce the feeling, it wasn't "fast enough". Then I discovered those tapes, and Monroe books, it helped me to get back there with out of body experience, a timeless loop that feel like the smallest yet gigantic, almost infinite room, with the loudest noise yet the greatest silence, the brighest yet the darkest light, you can witness what you want from stars creation to you sleeping in your own bed, yet the more details you try to take out of it the fastest you get pullet back in reality waking up, trying to feel the future also have the same effect, I don't know if I lack training, of if the human brain still struggle to understand what it don't know that it don't know.
I met Monroe when I was out of body i hugged him and started crying the experience was overwhelming then I snapped out of it.

I listened to the tapes alot and had a few great out of body experiences. I stopped but recently my out of body experience was witnessed by a friend. Whilst sleeping in his recording studio, i got up and opened the door to let him in one morning... then i went and laid back down... the only thing is... my body never never moved... he had alot of questions. And felt that it was telekinesis. I remember doing it, i remember opening the door for him... i remember laying back down in my body... i dont know how i did it... would love some guidance pls. Also... not a scary experience T all... very light and free. Just surprising that my conciousnes could turn a door handle.

I’m an EEG Tech. I didn’t believe in this stuff. One time we had a girl come in to the epilepsy monitoring lab. She stated she would have “events” when she meditated. She believed she was altering her consciousness, but everyone who witnessed it said they looked like seizures, or something. Long story short, she would pose and meditate for us and her brainwaves would, in fact, change considerably and in ways that A) were not epileptic, and B) not SUPPOSED to be possible in a voluntary manner. Idk what she was doing or how she got to be able to do it, but I want in.

Go try to have an out of body experience. This is not something you will find proof of outside experiencing it yourself. I can assure you that you do have the ability to leave your body. I suggest reading "Hacking the out out of body experience, leveraging science to induce obes" by robert d peterson since you are more science orientated.
My personal technique is fast for 24 hours, go to bed, set an alarm for 6 hours after shut eye, and then do mind awake body asleep techniques. You want to mantain conscious awareness as you're "falling asleep".
But hey, if these experiences wont answer your questions, at least you'll get to experience what flying feels like ;)
These things have been talked about and practiced in ancient religions for years. I'm happy that some people are making efforts to study and quantify these things by scientific means. It's time that introspection enters the modern world without being easily dismissed.
@@jon...5324 I’m ashamed to say I don’t. To be honest I didn’t ascribe too much significance to it at the time. All of us, the doctors- and even experienced and talented Techs just kind of said “ah that’s interesting” and went about our jobs. The only thing I can say is that it occurred at the Cleveland Clinic. My hope is that she was eventually enrolled in a study, but I kind of doubt the funding was available for something like that.
@@jon...5324 what I do remember which may or may not be helpful is that the changes were generalized (whole brain), rhythmic, and totally symmetrical. Can’t remember how fast in Hz the frequency was or if it sped or or slowed down compared to baseline.

I do take a very slow and methodical approach. That is why level three is a six month study course. 1:03:54 I want to refer you to a UA-camr that is a Yogi, his name is Forrest Knutson. And I'm referring you to him because of his proofs of meditation. As it's basically doing the same thing that the focus 10 and 15 and such things are doing for us by mapping out. But it doesn't lead you into these expectations. As they're very simple proofs like your hands being hot and heavy, which everybody will absolutely feel if they pay attention while they meditate. Whereas body asleep, mind awake is a little bit harder to 100% to be able to know you're in that state, especially while you're in it. Opposed to tingling hands and a dropped breath rate. His teachings are probably some of the best ones out there actually for a Westerner.

Feel like I should share this here, even though I [unfortunately] feel for some weird reason I'm not supposed to share this discovery: I recently found out that the voice that speaks to us in our 'conscious' mind, is actually God. The voice said to me, "You've never asked me my name before." I laughed and decided to humor the voice and then asked "what's your name"... It said "God" and I got goosebumps and had crazy total enlightenment! So much clarity after applying this idea to what info already exists about God and related things 🤯

I've been experiencing the Kundalini all my life.... I didn't realize that because I was born July 29th that it's probably why I am in a way " Kundalini" myself...sort of speak. Moreover, at age five I was sucked under an amusement park ride ((1969 August 29th)) and had an out of body experience that I will never forget! They say that a certain sacred fluid from the Kundalini awakening flows every 29.5 days. For me, it finally gives me the reason I have had countless spiritual experiences that some or many people don't ever experience. Including the Kundalini experience. I often am able to experience the so called beyond Euphoric place when ever I want. In a certain sacred way... I am "Shiva!" And have chosen not to destroy...but to only Creat! To never be part of the "Cycle!" Not even "Them" would I return their way back upon "Them" who have done much evil to me and mine! For I have learned. Be mindful of your actions! Unless you want to feed the Cycle and become "Them!" Furthermore! I or no one would bring such evils into their lives...I have not such a Heart! No such thing dwells here!

Enjoyed the interview a lot, ONE thing expressing as a lot all co-creating.
I remember when it first happened to me, my spirit body quickly leaned over as I was sitting on the coach watching TV, then it would just happen on its own but it was always a SCARY experience in my sleep. I'd intensely feel something full of hate towards me but it was angry it couldn't hurt me, or I'd see small dark figures and hear unnatural screeching screams right after I'd pray for protection right before waking up.
1:03:08 Yes, and it's been unclear when I'm definitely at any focus level really. Focus. 10. I'm pretty clear on. But I'm not sure I've ever gotten past focus. 15. And I really stopped at focus. 21. I believe it was. Because I just wasn't going any further. So I decided to stop for a bit and I'll pick it back up at some other point. But I'm pretty sure I've been in focus 21 kind of in and out. And I'll definitely been in focus 15 quite a few times but I normally pop out of it quickly once I realize. I don't think of it in those terms though. Like oh, I'm in focus 15. And they don't completely match with me. As I kind of have a weird experience where I seem to be able to be very much on my normal level of consciousness while on a different level at the same time having some of these experiences. So learning about it's been a little odd for me because it doesn't ever completely seem to match with most people's experiences.... But it does match enough that I've been able to keep learning. And it's been an extremely intuitive process too. As my tactic to this has been to go ahead and meditate with no direction have something happen and then look it up and figure out what went down.. this has served me extremely well. As I've had quite a few pretty heavy experiences and they weren't manipulated in any way shape or form by any outside information. In fact, my experience has been to have the experience while meditating, and then randomly with some beautiful synchronicity a video just as this pops up on UA-cam for me that I have never watched this channel or anything of the such. Never looked up anything to do with it. Didn't even sometimes know that it was an experience that was due to the meditation. And wouldn't you believe it, I'll have a video pop up on UA-cam explaining it 100% to me the next day. This has been my experience through all this. It's been very crazy, a bit intense at times for me as I'm working with PTSD and it's been working its way out of my nervous system.
But it's all taught me that you really can't discount anybody's experience. As it's all subjective and yes you're going to come across people that are making their experience much more extravagant than it was or to them it just is. I say this because a lot of my experiences to other people would probably be extremely heavy and extravagant. Whereas to me because I have a background with psychedelics for over a few decades and many, many trips. Some of these things aren't really that crazy or special to me. So I've had to ask myself. Am I downplaying some of this at times? Because some people are just absolutely taken back and wowed by some of the most simplest things that I just wouldn't think someone didn't understand... And there is a lot of let's choose our fantasy that we don't truly believe in. Because we want to fall in with this crowd I guess.... So it's been hard to get good information in general from people actually practicing these things... Because I've run into a lot of knowing very quickly that they don't really believe what they're practice in, nor do they truly practice it. This has happened in the Kundalini space quite a bit. And so many of them hold the experience in such high regards on a pedestal that they don't believe anybody else does it... Especially somebody like me who didn't do anything to really have the experience. And it was really just a spontaneous activation that had happened because of PTSD and breath work in general. Though there's a lot more to it than that..
Yeah through trying to find help I've had to really take a look at other people's experiences and ask myself. You know are they being naive or am I down playing some of my experiences? I'm sure it's a combination. Great video. Thank you and he kind of put some sense to why I love the first three waves of the gateway tapes over the rest. I would say Bob took out some advanced hemisink methods that they don't use. Because those first three waves I use to this day with no talking or narration and just the hemisink to get into states. And it works better than anything. Better than anybody else's honey sink or anything. There's something they're doing extremely right for me, at least in those first three waves... Sorry to be so long-winded. But thank you for being one of my synchronicities and having this guy on. As I have never come across your channel and this was a teaching that I actually had needed personally. And it just randomly came up today. Go figure..
What's funny is the ONLY way I've ever come out (so far) was through NDE.
Now, when I got to track 4 of wave 1, I began coming out once, but didn't quite make it.... however, it wasn't fear.... it was more that I became aware of my body and lost focus.
I can see that, though, for people who've never had that experience 100%.

That is a very nice compliment. Thank you. IMO, transcendent experiences are a wonderful gateway towards becoming the light. That said, there is often some shadow work which needs to be attended to as well. The more one does this, the more one can be a container for the light. Shine on. :-)

The theory is that we are synthesizing and don't know it. We're like one selfless act×1% away from the tangible sea change which the whole needs to feel so enthusiasm returns to carry us through the coming storm like the baffled badasses we actually are.

Really wonderful interview and I love how the theme of “gentle” and benevolent is woven throughout. Personally I worry about individuals who are entering into altered states without guides or without enough support, or perhaps, “too soon” from an age or experience perspective. I agree with Mark about the potential shock and lack of integration that users of psychedelics may encounter. I’ve found both as a dreamer and as a practitioner, dreamwork is a gentle way to embark on such journeys into expanded consciousness. For people who
have trauma, especially, or for people with paralyzing fear or anxiety but a desire for expansion or growth. But I’m definitely checking out Triad as a result of this interview. I am very interested in the hypnagogic and hypnopompic states. And… The vesica piscis has come up as a synchronicity for me this week… and I pay attention to syncs. :)

The most advanced delineation of mind, body and consciousness can be found in the writtings of Sri Aurobindo Ghose, who wrote 100 books on spirituality based on his spiritual experience. Nothing comes close to it, but the books are not easy reading. I would start with The Psychic Being and Essays on the Gita.
Spot on . His English is too complex for us in India to understand. Sri Aurobindo was one of the greatest Yogis . He literally changed many things on this plane.

He is currently conducting physics experiments (e.g. double-slit) to prove we live in a virtual reality or simulation derived from consciousness. He has a very interesting youtube channel.

I wish so much this was taught to me at school or just generally as a kid. I only found “this” after so much heartbreaks throughout my life, at age 35. It’s like it didn’t even exist before. Where was it? Why didn’t my adults teach me this?

I agree of course. I teach a very slow and steady approach to exploring altered states. Too much too soon can lead to all kinds of schisms, dissociation, state chasing etc. I am not a psychotherapist but I have noticed these trends in my years of working with altered states through meditation practices and believe they need to be addressed. When using mind expanding drugs, the problem can be even worse. Integrating the content of such experiences in the contexts of the life of the individual is key.
Well I smoke DMT and changa a lot...u guys are right ..if people take medium to high dosis...those are just crazy rollercoasters mostly scary..
But me myself I take real real small doses and that allows me to go into a meditative state where I can actually learn a lot

I participated in a Gateway program at Monroe. It was a fun exploration, but Triad Mind is much more interesting to me. Incidentally, I live a mere 90 min from Monroe. 😊

If you were on either of the first three programs. You helped my meditation game tenfold easily. There's something in the first three waves that works for me. Extremely well with the hemisink binaural beats. And it's just not the same in later ones for me.....

I do believe that going out of the body is a natural state we have from the beginning of our life, we are born with this "ability " and we loose it while we start to learn fear, because we are not born and don't know anything about fear, we learn it. That's why the blockages. Something like natural swimming for babies. I am grown adult who doesn't swim but I'm convinced I knew how to do it if I would have been thrown in the water in my first hours of life.

THANK YOU, how WONDER-FULL !!! LOVE to listen to ALL THIS, especially as trained medium (doing RV, OBE etc., too, without training or tour guide, had to figure it out on my own, haha), and mediumship is all about interaction & communication with "spirit world" (or the hologram).
