    Another fitness planner for yall! I hope you enjoy! I'm in a rush today so no time to write too much here but I'm hoping you are doing well!

    🌼 written by, produced by, and starring daniela zárate 👽, an extraterrestrial, multi-spirit kaleidoscope of a being interested in spurring spiritual and scientific revolutions in our collective human consciousness.
    🌼 29 years old
    🌼 Latina with rural Mexican roots
    🌼 LGBTQ+
    🌼 San Diego, CA born & raised
    🌼 Off the silver screen, Daniela is a biologist interested in the ecology, behavior, and evolution of social insect societies, mainly honey bees and wood ants. She completed her doctorate (PhD) in honey bee genomics and behavior at the University of California, San Diego in 2022.
    🌼 Currently, she is completing a UC Chancellor's Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of California, Riverside with Dr. Jessica Purcell's research group, studying supergene evolution in a native wood ant.
    🌼 Daniela strongly believes in the importance and value of science communication and education and strives to make science both accessible and enjoyable for a wide audience. Her science communication style is broadly influenced by theater, dance, spoken word, comedy, and telenovelas.
    🌼 She is also currently working on developing STEAM educational programming for the incarcerated communities of southern California as part of a larger prison-industrial complex abolition project. She is interested in developing courses that use zines as learning tools to promote interactive engagement with scientific topics.
    🌼 When she’s not analyzing DNA sequences, you can find her papercrafting, gardening, foraging for wild mushrooms, hiking in Death Valley, or looking for horned lizards in San Diego's beautiful chaparral and desert regions.

    Your fitness planner has inspired me to start keeping track of my movement. I have little goals but more so I’m tracking how much I’m moving and what I’m eating….awareness is a good first step 🎉. I always look forward to your videos, all of them, not just this one 😀

      @@laplanningdivaso far, having the planner dedicated only to my “fitness” has helped motivate me to move more. I’m closing my Apple Watch rings consistently and finding that I’ll get up and even just walk around my house to hit my steps goal hahaha.

    I know I sound like a broken record, but your fitness planner is always inspiring to me bc you are real and don’t pretend it’s always perfect. I appreciate that so much. It always helps me pick myself up when I fall down from good habits. I’ve been in a terrible slump and horrible eating habits recently. But I’m back at it and trying/starting over again. Thanks for always being so positive. Positive energy your way, my friend!✨

      Omg Regina you're so kind!! You don't sound like a broken record at all!! I really appreciate the love and support, it keeps me going on those tough days. I definitely want to be real and not put up a perfect front. It's a struggle to be vulnerable and show your weaknesses but it is important. I'm sorry to hear you're in a slump, we've all been there. You can get back to your healthy habits, I believe in you!! 🩷🩷 It's always a constant up and down and I feel like I've "Started over" SO MANY TIMES! It's part of the journey. Just never give up. Start over as many times as you need to! You can do it!! Sending you all the positive energy and motivation to meet your goals!

    For habit trackers, I had to change how I view them. I stopped using them to guilt me into an activity, by rather to just collect the data on how often I did said activity. Then I use that data to figure out where to make changes and improvements in my life and routine.

      I agree! That’s how I use habit trackers too. Sometimes you just don’t realize how much or little you move. Little goals can still add up to progress, right!?

      Yes absolutely I could not agree more. At the end of the day I think habit tracking and even planner is really a big collection of data and a very personal examination of one's self. Our habits and routines and the frequencies of our behaviors. The first step in changing or starting a behavior I think is really examining it. And just keeping an eye on it without even setting any goals makes us aware and awareness if the first step! 🩷 Thanks so much for your support! 🩷
