Alex is my Annie’s twin in every way 😂 Thank you for introducing the pako tutorial because you’ve just saved my newest 110 color project from moldering in my cedar chest until my future granddaughters find it long after my demise. 😅

I use Pakos too. If you braid the long tails, they don’t get tangled. You don’t need to tie the ends. Works great!

Don't you have to keep rebraiding them though?

I take the paper pattern to FedEx and xerox it at 150% larger for each page on 11x 17 paper. That way I have a whole page enlarged to see the symbols better. I also enlarge the symbol chart to a comfortable size, then put them back to back in plastic covers and tie them together w a piece of string in the first hole of the 3-hole plastic cover so I can flip the pages back and forth.
On my gridded aida I also number the columns to match the pattern. It REALLY REALLY helps me keep on track and make less mistakes.
I also talk to myself when stitching saying”stitch one. Skip one, stitch 2. Or stitch two above board ( when it’s on the line) or stitch 3 below deck( when it’s below the line)” etc.
I’m working on Haed The Three mini Graces. Tons and tons of confetti which is why I talk to myself as I stitch, lol. I will give you more of my experience and tips if you’d like.
I don’t park. Too messy for me.

What happens when you run out of removable cards?
