If you like heartbreak songs I'd suggest: Love Will Tear Us Apart by Joy Division, anything by the Magnetic Fields, especially "Either You Don't Love Me Or I Don't Love You" , Leadbelly's 'Careless Love' (actually the whole album 'Where Did You Sleep Last Night' is brilliant, Nirvana's Heart Shaped Box' or 'Polly', Duffy's 'Warwick Avenue', Leonard Cohen's 'This Waltz", Gordon Lightfoot's "If you could read my mind" and lastly Al Jareau's "Never Explain Love".

Ah, this was my song when my ex dumped me November of 2009. I'm over him now. I've actually been with someone else for 10 years now.
