You can include Fantasy Booking in the Decision part, meaning a Forbidden door type of Universe mode, that's what I tend to do anyways. By having Superstars from AEW, NJPW, TJPW, TNA, Stardom, etc...aswell.
I have been hooked onto universe mode for hours today doing almost every single match hoping for every rivalry action to go perfect as I want if it's not going my way I just use the person I don't want to win and kind of make the other one gain the upper hand so it makes more sense on my way to night of champions and after that money in the bank qualifer matches gonna be so fun
My roster is 125 comprised of old and new from WCW, WWE and ECW with 3 shows a week ECW Hardcore TV on Mondays, Hardcore Hotline on Wednesdays and the ECW ballroom arena is my Friday show with 6 belts a heavyweight, television title, U.S title, tag titles, cruisers and a women's title.
I used to do modern era smackdown and raw just draft my roster to my preference and set up the rivalries in the rivalry system until now I got so tired having the same people fight eachother mostly women so I merged it and controlled only raw for now and it's been so fun
I’m starting off with just raw and I have about 70 wrestlers on my show and I also have main event as my minor show. On year 2 I want to bring SmackDown into the mix and put 12 wrestlers from Raw that are “struggling” and then fill in the rest with wrestlers I didn’t use for Raw and on year 3 I might add NXT and use it as a relegation brand where you have to claw your way up to SmackDown.
I grabbed a friend, and we just put on a show (I represented Raw, and he represented SmackDown). We drafted a pool of single superstars, tag teams/stables, and women. Each show drafted 17 singles (34 total in the list), 12 tag teams (24 total teams/stables in the list), and 18 women (36 total women in the list). RAW had a total of 76 superstars on the show, and SmackDown had a total of 67 superstars on the show.
Im currently running 2 shows. Raw and nxt. My created guy is running through nxt along with oba . Then i have everyone else on raw. Only current wrestlers. Makes for way better matches. And i only have guys in there i actually want to play with.
I've been having a lot of trouble with universe mode as well, it likes to just put nonsense together I recommend booking the matches yourself specially the tag teams I have it turned off and it's still just keeps putting random tag teams together universe mode needs work
With Automatic rivalries set off, the booking is mainly affected by how you set up your divisions/rankings and weekly shows and PLEs match tables. In my case, either use the random wwe draft thingy on the internet or do my own draft. And I do mainly simming AI vs AI and Forbidden door booking like I mentioned in the previous comment. And only recently I started to mess around the divisions and rankings, because the booking was all over the place.
I know I’m not the only person who has made there own roster based on people they actually know? 22 man roster atm been at for about a month 😂it’s brilliant
I have a mixture of currunt era attitude era and ruthless agression era stars (only big names from old era not MIDCARDS and only the people that are in the game no caw)
So i just created a universe with 2 brands raw and smackdown about 40 participants each.. my question or confusion is this.. how can I create or control my own cutscenes? Do I just have to play every match?
you have 1 main championship for 2 shows, do you have 2 split rosters for Raw and Smackdown? same with womens championship? you say 20 women , is that 20 women total for 2 shows or is it 20 women per show with 1 championship

Why rely on the game to book it when you can book it yourself?
Exactly plus its so random when the game does it as it makes no sense and a wrestler gets booked in 2 matches

i hate when they keep booking the same superstars in one on one matches if they’re in a rival its makes no sense to me

I had 20 women per show. And usually i would have two world titles, but in this save file i used 1 for some reason.
