White spirit or methylated spirit will work, and there are citrus based cleaners which are better for the environment
Anybody know if rubbing alcohol will work or hurt an epoxy surfboard?

@@MattHapgood Thanks, Yes, I did it any way and everything fine!! Was just to clean the front of my board to attach a Gopro mount..
