  • Giant swarms of fusilier and snapper, large groups of barracuda and sweetlips, plentiful anemone fishs, wobbegongs and critters like nudibranchs, crabs, shrimps and octopus. The northern part of Raja Ampat offers an astounding variety of marine life. Around the island of Pef we found many amazing dive sites with macro opportunities for nudibranchs, marine flatworms, shrimps, crabs, pygmy seahorse and many more. Further south in West-Mansuar we encountered huge groups of sweetlips and giant green turtles for which the area is famous for.
We spent 6 nights at the Raja4Divers Resort in January 2023. We would like to thank our amazing dive guide for the many incredible dives we did together.
For animal identification please refer to the video subtitles.
    With best regards,
    Sandra and Markus
