The problem is that most of us don't know the steps. We have a vague idea of what we want to do and step 1 is figure it out. Step 2 is to just research it, but there is so much information out there it's almost impossible to find a starting point.

pw709 there are a few thnngs óhat you can do while you are çrying to figure out what to do. Number one is to create options for yourself while you're finding yourself. How do you do that? Stay out of debt or get out of debt, and then start saving money. Once you hav a chunk saved acquire resources. For health, start with small baby steps of eating better and exercising some if you're not. The number one thing I think is to get your mind right. People have so much junk and crap in their heads holding themselves back. Something like A Course in Miracles is really good for that.

I want you understand that you might not feel the effect you have on your viewers life and they might not expressed it enough through their words but you are guiding crowds to the safe place everyone looking for.

'Dreams are goals without steps.' To paraphrase, 'write down goals and the area t get there, do 1-3 steps a day.' You are really awesome and helpful. You are truly motivating.

I stopped by your vid to try get some ideas. I am a 63 yr old woman, retired and looking forward to all the activities I never had time for. A doctor recently told me , we wear many "hats" during our life.....employer/ee, wife, mother, grandmother etc. My problem is, I no longer wear any hats !
I was surprised at how depressed one can become. Saddly, I would be happy to pass naturally. Yet I'm too young and not suicidal.
I dont have any goals at the moment, BUT, I do like to listen to QUEEN music first thing in the morning.....it gets me out of bed.

    • @MalanDarras
      @MalanDarras  8 років тому +4

I LOVE your "hats" analogy. We all need to find our hats. I have someone who needs to hear this message, so i'm going to pass it on, thank you.
Maybe your new "hat" could be The coolest 63 yr old in existence, who listens to QUEEN in the mornings :) Good luck you, keep the faith. Malan

Coming from someone who has been struggling with this the past two years, I think its very important to note that even with parents, you dont always get the life lessons and skills you need. Im 20 living with my family and still dont know about stock markets or much about credit or financials. Even now, asking for help from them is hard because i can never get it. Its very easy to make your kids feel alone in their own house if you constantly have them in a negative environment and never take the time out to teach them things that help them succeed in life as a person, as an adult.

Here's what I don't like about society. You can hit the gym, eat right, go to college, run marathons and travel the world all you want. But the one who's uneducated and works a dead end job that they hate and has no ambition to be better, society will say that person is more ambitious because at the end of the day he or she made money.

'Lazy' is a myth - since we are always motivated. We all use the same energy - always. It is awareness that is the deciding factor of real change. Let's dispense with the anger/fear.

This Is me 😫😭 although I don’t drink or use drugs. I’m clinically depressed and have extreme anxiety and OCD. I don’t see how my life can get better when I can’t go anywhere and socialise with people without panicking and being nervous

He mentioned mind maps. Freemind is open source and free. But freeplane is ALSO open source and free...is a later, slicker version of freemind. More features, including being able to embed it on a website (and a bunch more I don't recall atm). Both available at sourceforge.net
I'm pretty sure that's the right URL. If not, just google it.
There. That's MY good deed for the day.

so you're from the south? i'm wondering all the time if you sound like it a little or if it's just me
by the way, you're right, it's a game changer to actually list the things you wanna do. i found myself suddenly doing the shit i listed, especially when i also added the steps needed. it's just not so easy when you have no idea how to get somewhere.

I saw Pearl Jam and Nirvana open for the RHCP back in the fall of '91 at the LA Colosseum where the LA Clippers used to play. Great show!!! I had bought 4tickets and took my friends. We didn't know that these two fairly new two bands were going open for them. It was the RHCP Blood Sugar Sex Magic tour. I had already seen them twice before. Fist time in Austin Tx the next day in Dallas at the Bronco Bowl, which by the way was a great place to see bands. That was the Chilli's Mothers Milk tour. Anyway back to their LA gig. Man they picked the wrong two bands to open for them. First PJ who rocked then it was Nirvana. It was Nirvana Man!!!! The Blew the crowd away!!! No encore and smashed al their gear, fuck it. Generation X at it's finest. No way could the RHCP's compete. They picked the wrong two bands to open for them. Right after that's when for the Seattle scene broke into the main stream. Alice in Chains Dirt was released a year latter Sound Gardens Super Unknown. Both classic albums. By the way I had a close friend that was the stage soundman for Sound Garden. Stewart Bennett who operates a big concert sound company in Dallas now. I was VIP at some of Sound Gardens gigs. Anyway, for me that was the height of the last big rock and roll movement in history. It was great being part of it. Thanks for letting me share this story, Peace Brotha

I'm exactly like you describe in this video right know at 22. I want a change!! But i don't know the step, so here is my question: HOW TO DO IT? HOW TO DO AFFILIATE MAKETING or other buisness like that. I don't have money to buy your program or anything i just have money to survive like many people so want can i do?? On youtube lot of people who wants to help like you have a "coaching program" but its not free, how did you do to get there without money? Thanks man if you replie
