This song literally just came up in my mind...this is one of the gospel songs that shaped my life. KTSU and KPVU on Sundays...yes...also Majic 102.1 - KMJQ
I've been looking for this song for years! I am reminded that I and my family and loved ones are Redeemed through Jesus Christ!! Hallelujah 🙏🏽Thank you for posting.
This song touches me in an undescribable way. I heard it for the first time today and burst into tears when they begin to sing " My soul has been redeemed". I have been through a lot and have finally reached happiness in my life. God delivered me from my storm and I truly feel that my soul has been redeemed and I am forgiven.
Mya C I know the trials and tribulations that teens encounter and go through in life. I too was a teenager when I first heard this song. That was 23 years ago. Keep listening and apply to your life. I will be praying for you Mya. God Bless Sister.
This is Linda's oldest son posting this comment. In any event, I heard this song first at St. John Baptist Church in which Sacramento's own gospel legend Bro Huey Lovelady was the musician. The song was lead by legendary gospel songstress and clarinet player Leah Strickling who happens to be the younger sister of gospel phenom Arvis Strickling. These days we hear a lot of praise and worship songs however this song was one of repentance and it's ensuing salvation. Recognizing after such a time when you were lost, you've now have been found and are thankful for it. Thank God for Jesus
This is one of the most inspiring songs of Michael that he has written. I get sooo emotional when I hear it playing. I just love it I just keep playing it over and over .
“❤”Same here for me!!!! I love ❤️ this song 🎶, my Aunt used to lead his song in our “Church Choir”, I can’t get enough of this song. I play it over & over again myself. Thank you 🙏🏿 “Jesus Hallelujah”.
This takes me waaay back. That organ is everything! Great childhood memory listening to this on the way to church… “Washed in the blood. My soul has been redeemed!” Amen!
This song touches my soul. Ioved it since a teen but could only here it on KTSU and finally I can hear it when I want. All prsises to Lord above....Halleluah!!
Mr McKay used to be a member of my church First Shiloh Baptist in Houston. This song would play on ktsu every morning. It brings back so many memories.

I just discoved this song...Friday evening at the beginning of the Sabbath. I cannot tell you how many times I have listened to it in less than three days and had to share it too! Thanking Jesus for this song....for it is so beautiful but the words....the words....confirm my state....I am redeemed by the blood of the Lamb of God who has fulfilled the requirement for my sin that I might have eternal life! Hallelujah, Jehovah reigns!
@@GigglePlay77-5 If you recognize the Bible as the word of God, you will find the Sabbath is commemorated weekly on the only day God gave a name. It's all in your Bible, KJV.
Thanks for posting. I heard this song once as a teenager newly saved and filled with the Holy Ghost. It was played on WBAD out of Leland, Mississippi. The song stayed with me, I was not able to find out who the artist was and never heard it on WBAD again so I eventually forgot about it. About a year ago, The Vision Church in Atlanta sung the chorus and I knew I had heard it in my childhood. Did a search on UA-cam and found it here. Thank you for bringing my search to an end.
Marvin I had the same experience as you!!!!!!! I heard it as teenager on KTSU Sundays. However there was a lot of static. I didn't find it until about 4 or 5 yrs ago

Thank you Sir for uploading this beautiful song. I first heard this song at the City College of San Francisco many years ago, while waiting for my music class to begin. This college choir class, made up of mostly white students, tore this song up!!! That was my first and last time hearing this beautiful song until I looked it up on youtube today. I never forgot it when I first heard it and today I really needed to hear it Thank God for youtube, thank God for you and thank God for Jesus who looks at the heart and has redeemed everyone who calls on Him. Let us pray for our country and especially the people in Texas fighting to survive Hurricane Harvey. We need to show the love of Jesus now more than ever before and remember that God is Love.
BUT I MUST STILL BEAR A CROSS!! THE CHRISTIAN WALK AND FAITH IS VERY SERIOUS!! LOVE THIS SONG! I USE TO LISTEN TO IT ON KTSU BECAUSE OF MY MOTHER!!! I WAS NOT A FAN OF THIS SONG THEN I THOUGHT IT WAS KIND OF CREEPY!! BUT I SURE UNDERSTAND NOW AND I PRAISE GOD AND MY LORD JESUS CHRIST FOR HIS GREAT MERCY AND LOVE TOWARDS ME!!
This was a beautiful rendition but no one sings this song like the 1979 Palestine Community Choir Workshop led by Mike McKay and Carl Pierce...I love and miss you guys.
