myKomuniti

The idea of myKomuniti arose when Malaysia was hit by the Covid-19 pandemic which led to the shutdown of the economy. The income of many households was severely impacted.
myKomuniti is an innovation that emerged to facilitate the provision of assistance to those in need. myKomuniti involves three parties; Local communities, Mosques, Government Agencies.
This platform features three main modules; application module, verification module, and grant module which allow people to easily submit their application.   
The implementation of this system can help Yayasan Pahang and mosques to identify the community in need of assistance, and there will no longer be eligible recipients who miss out on receiving assistance. Yayasan Pahang can also monitor the disbursed assistance funds and provide reports to the Pahang state government. As of December 2022, a total of 577 households have registered in the myKomuniti system involving 3 mosques that have implemented this system.
This platform is user-friendly and accessible anywhere. Through myKomuniti, Yayasan Pahang can avoid overlapping applications, shorten application periods by 11 days, reduce bureaucracy, reduce operating costs by 236% and automated approval processes.  
Thus, Yayasan Pahang believes that this system will help to improve the economy of the affected groups during crucial times.
