- AWS #IAM #Access #Analyzer helps you identify the resources in your organization and accounts, such as Amazon S3 buckets or IAM roles, that are shared with an external entity. This lets you identify unintended access to your resources and data, which is a security risk.

Good question!.
Yes, definitely. There is a slight overlap but this feature is more to check for permissions given outside of your Zone of trust which could be your complete AWS Organizations now. Thanks for the video. I was looking for this. Hey a question - Any rationale behind making this feature regional? If we make this global I will have findings at Umbrella level right?
Good thought. What I think is - as the supported resources are regional in nature (except IAM role), they kept it regional. Of course, implementation could be other way as well.
Also, I think AWS has started to think about the scale it would reach in next couple of years, where we might have 50 or 60 regions.. In that case, it would be better to boundary things in region.. These are just my thoughts... :)
