the staging of this performance was directed by Fokas Evangelinos, the same guy that did the performances of Sergey so no wonder why this was similar to the 2016 performance minus the technology. 😉
Like you said the performance is epic and the staging took it to a new level at eurovision. Armenia and Ukraine really started a new wave of showing their song. One of them should have won the contest.
Russia's Believe wasn't even in my top 10. I didn't like his voice in the song, didn't give me any emotions as such a song should have. Never understood it ended number 1. 2008 Portugal was robbed of their possible first top 5 or top 3 position. 2nd in their semifinal and then only 13th in the final. Ukraine was my number 3.
It was a great perfomance, no doubt - but as a song, lyrically and otherwise this one failed to touch me. It kinda lacked a "moment" for me and I never really understood quite why it finished so high, perhaps other than teenage boys voting on repeat ;)
Well I had that feeling with Russia. Never touched me. As for Ukraine, it was my third that year after Portugal and Israel. And I'm no longer a teen age boy, I'm not even straight. An older gay that simply likes this song.
This song should have won this year IMO.
I can totally see an argument being made for it
I sure the singer was real winner of Eurovision 2008
SHE SHOULD HAVE WON THAT YEAR 😭!!!
The singer is actually called Karolina, but she anagrammed her stage name into Ani Lorak
Ah, funny I’m just realizing that 😅, it really is the small things that you miss
Isn't it her name spelt backwards?
Thanks for the video. Love from Ukraine )))
Of course!
The fact Russia beat this was an absolute travesty
Наша самая лучшая! 🇺🇦
The best of Ukraine ❤️Ani Lorak ❤️

I agree! And it’s cool to see it emerging.
Btw her real name's Karolina 🤓 vice-versa Ani Lorak 💆🏻♂️
These artists are just getting too clever for me 😅! Really, that’s cool though!
Just one word to described this: ROBBED!!
Actually the blond guy, was also the guy in the box in Azerbaijan 2013 entry
This is in my Top 3 of that year along with Azerbaijan and Armenia
Her true name is Carolina 😜
React to Portugal - Senhora do Mar (Lady of the sea)
Show your react to Armenia 2008 !)))

Planning to react to 2008 Portugal so now I’m really excited!
