Hello pls can u explain why at 12:38 u didnt 4:1 ore for wood and road settle at the 9-10-11 ? It was a mistake or a strategic choice to pop a dev instead ?
Not taking the grain port in game 2 was insanity, he already had a bunch of useless roads, no need to connect that turn, could have done so next turn, grain port would have been massive... You should have traded the ore for a wood early, you would have been 3 settles and a massive resource advantage, you act like ore is so important, then just have to ditch it because you keep getting stuck over 9 cards, like how does that make any sense???? Same game and seen many times before, you are blocked, they have a massively good spot and you don't play the knight in your pocket, that's the easiest thing to improve on. The reason they won army and dev battle could be traced down to you not using the knight, them rolling the 8 and getting 8 ore and popping twice immediately after, keeping you in a cycle of being constantly blocked while they get more ore from their 8...
He over-focused on road for no reason, when it wasn't contested. Think he might have won if he didn't do that, but it still would have been close prob.
Love the series! New player, and Ive learned ao much watching these

14:10 if you're going to go for the 6 3 11 why not plow them with two roads from the 9 10 11?
