Very good but one issue, I want my camera to only have x-axis movement, not y axis movement when in the game. How do I fix this?

Hi
If you want to use max as default character, its better if you go to the gamemode (you will found it in the folder thirdperson character ) open it and choose in the line default pawn class "max_BP" ;)

Trés bon tutoriel même avec l'anglais à la frenchy :) ! Par contre, je ne suis pas pro mais, tu n'es pas un peu en train de choisir le mode HARD pour le plaçage de tes textures ? Je me rappel vraiment être passer par autant de truc si ce n'est les nodes bien sûr ! Mais bon, chacun sa méthode. En tout cas, super tuto !

Hello, first of all, great tutorial and great works with UE4
I was wondering how can i make the speed to fade from 350 to 175 when shift is released... because when i release shift the charachter just go from 350 to 175 in a second, and it's bad to see, is there a way to let the speed fade from 350 to 175?
What is this for exactly? As in why are you recreating LiS's systems - even adding onto them? Really impressive btw.

I tried to use the settings for the free camera control which you've shown in this tutorial but it didn't work and I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
I have a problem that seeing the model when i open it to put the materials in it all looks fine but when i put her into the game she has black hands even in the blueprint they are fine but in the game black hands any help?

I’m like 4 years late!!! 😂 but Sbel if you see this I’m having a problem! every time I do the blending for the animations for some reason the models lips are stick upwards and I have no clue how to fix that problem! If you know how to fix that problem please tell me I would really appreciate that!! Thank you!!🤪

Q: why was unselect the textures when imported Max in the start and had to add them all after creating materials ? does not work to import it with textures ready ?
Well, in the engine the materials are more complete, if
I was exporting the model with the texture in anycase the unreal engine will create a material for it but will miss the normal and specular and I will need to made as I did in this video ;)

Hey dude, first off i wanna say thank you again for the road modeling tutorial in blender it helped me a bunch!
The reason he has "Turn" and "TurnRate" as axis events in his blueprints is 'cuz he set up those inputs in the project settings. Go to Edit>Project Settings>Input and under Bindings you set up your inputs. In his case he created "Turn" and "TurnRate" under axis mappings with the appropriate scale values and key bindings :) Hope this helps bud!
Ah Yeah I figured it out haha thanks man! and you're welcome, I'm hoping to do a more advanced tutorial on full modular road systems including motorways etc, I've said this for a while but I'm at a point where I'll be working on it, you should check out my live stream on the weekends :) and it turned out it was because I wasn't using 'mycharacter' lol!

Also, is there a way to use UE avatars in other games based on UE? I finished "Remember Me" last weekend and was wonder if could replace Nilin with Max!?
Well not really,
all game are cooked, means thats you cant really alterate them
remember me is also a great game, just a pitty that its impossible to extract the animation of nilin cause they are not really simple animation but morpheme :P
meanwhile was find out that is possible with reverse engineering but someone need to know how to extract the code if dev's wont release it...
Since I am such an ignorant in computing, would you kindly explain to me how can you extract the animations from LiS?
