Am a fruit seller and wambugu's apples are more expensive than the imported ones.I once enquired and was told they export their produce to Europe since we can't afford locally
@@gladystinah5928 I think ni kama hass avocado. I have never seen it in mombasa local markets. We get the large round one with purple skin. Yet hii hass ndio inakuanga more sweet but I usually see my grandpa akiuza the unripe hass to brokers who take it for export.
Locally made clothes too are a bit expensive compared to those imported from china. Maybe that's how the market works. Not sure
