I’m so glad a came across this! Lauren is now my dance teacher and has taught me many moves. And in the interview she said she wanted to perform for the Queen and for the queens platinum jubilee, she performed for the Queen alongside her dance group and my dance group(Steppaz) so proud
she wore red, and the entire time i was like, "why is he wearing black"? He disappeared on that dark stage. He should have been in yellow, a la wolverine.

Well Lauren out shined Terrell because.... 1) she was wearing a bright colour he wasn't. 2) whoever made this dance gave her more solo parts and more intense moves

I feel like the only reason she 'stole the show' was because they put him in that dark outfit while she was in a flashy red. If he lost the vest, I think his moves would have been represented better.

it's so stupid that people were putting down Terrell. They WERE going at the same pace, the difference was that Lauren is more flexible as a female and she was wearing bright red. Terrell WAS keeping up, his outfit was just darker and looser and he isn't as flexible

I really think the boys dancing was on par with the girls. They both had the same amount of difficulty and solo time.
They are both such beautiful kids. He has got the most gorgeous face.

He is good she is phenomenal. I agree with the comments of the judges. I noticed since the first performance that she is simply a level or two sharper, more on the beat, completing more precisely every movement than him. Several movements he is a bit sloppy, which becomes clear next to her pinpoint precision in hers. So to win the competition, yes he needs to get to her level. And she is a stronger personality, but they can use that to their advantage.

I wonder if they have the same music choreographer from IMD. It's got the same cues and sort of sound to it as IMD's sound. The "typical" and the rough breath are both cues used in a LOT of IMD songs, and they are both in IMD

Weren't lauren and terrel in like a group of dancers before. Am pretty sure I saw them in the group. The group is called IMD legion. These 2 are great dancers, am glad they put so much energy and emotion when they dance.

I think the one they did with the suits was way better than this one... the music was better, the costumes were great, the dance moves were amazing and they were both synchronised but on this one they didn't do as well... and the only reason Lauren got more attention was because... 1) she wore a bright suit 2) she got more intense moves and solos 3) she was in front of him the parts when they were dancing together!

The boy was just as great. Most couples dances have the girl being the main focus regardless of the guys talent level (eg salsa, bachata, ballroom.etc). Plus, she was wearing red while he faded into the background in black.

It’s stupid and Rude to tell a 12 year old kid who happened to be reserved, shy and nervous to step up and do better. What the fuck is wrong with those two women. I was disappointed. I mean they both are in this together don’t divide them and break them.
If you want to criticize talk about the whole act. They are not competing with each other. They are together for the same goal

***** I agree with you on the "above her age" comment but in my opinion her dancing already has an unique style and personality. The boy executed the tricks very well but she's at another level since she can do the same and on top of that put her own unique stamp on it. This is just my opinion.
***** I don't think she was trying to "perfect every mive" her and the boy practiced and practiced. In my eye's she had sass in that performance, like she always good. I think they both did an amazing job at what they do best and the only thing that matters is if they had fun.
