Heya
Found this cover and it brought me to tears at the start of the song. This song was my best friends favourite song back in high school (not this the origional). When I was in year 9 he died. He broke his leg trying to stand up and walk a bit (he was disabled and in a wheelchair) but he fell and broke his leg. And he needed surgery to fix his leg but when he was in hospital he got sepsis and died. And this song was played at his funeral.
I remember how I found out about his death. I was in the bath scrolling down Facebook and saw a post I was tagged in mentioning about his death. I broke down into tears instantly. Not long after I saw that I got a message off his mum mentioning he had died and how it happened. I wish I said so many things to him and told him how much of a good friend he was. I still remember what the last thing I said to him in person was. "I'll see you Monday to go back into this hell" and the last message I sent him was a picture of my new dog at the time. Since he asked me to send him one when o got home.

Coldplay songs are so lyrically beautiful. It would be great in musical theather.
Coldplay is my favorite band of all time but I really didn't like the direction they took with this song. This is how the song should have sounded.
Same tbh, it's funny that this cover sounds more like classic Coldplay than the actual song, haha! I'll always love coldplay and I respect that they've changed a lot musically, but I can't help but prefer their older sound. This cover captured it perfectly. :)
i respect your opinion but the original sounds way better than this, most bands evolve in music and just get use to it, i usually love like boyce covers but this one not sure, I thik I could have made it better by mixing a tambourine a guitar and a piano.

It´s easy to say that when the song that you know was in fact created from NOTHING by Coldplay.

This is good and I'm not usually critical of you guys at all but this one disappoints me, it doesn't feel like there's any passion or heart behind it.
They cannot impress everybody. Everybody has different tastes; I personally find this as one of their better covers.
