On a cell phone, don't ever choose the option to "save login" or "save password" for easy access. Don't ever use computers that leave my house for financial transactions. Check all my financial accounts weekly at least. Biggest issue is that when I recently made an insurance claim, what had represented itself to me as a single company ended up being my insurance provider and a company they had recently bought which sounded like one of those legal scammers who want to sell you insurance you don't need.
I was shopping on the phone for insurance on a property. I was given a quote. The next day I called and said I wanted the policy. He took my credit card info (thank goodness not my bank account)l. THEN he told me the insurance was considerably more than the quote. I told him I didn’t want it. He assured me it wouldn’t hit my credit card. But it did. Not only that, but he also charged something else on my card. I tried to file a complaint with the company, but it became clear that they didn’t care. They get hacked all the time. Realtors are pretty gullible because they see every contact as a big payday. I know this from several brokers who are constantly dealing with hackers due to the agents in their offices repeatedly clicking those links and opening files in emails.

yes, you can see the AI is NOT blinking. "Her" eyes are not blinking correctly, and just very sparingly and gently (like a feather) , not naturally, because that is very hard for an AI to generate.
Another AI video test is to ask the person to turn their head so you see their profile. Currently the video will show weird artifacts, and pieces of the face may even jump around. Of course in a few months or a year this will probably be fixed.
By next year, they will have that flaw fixed. They are using AI to write software for other AI to run. Guess where they get the best screening and analysis of their work? UA-cam videos and comments. AI can monitor UA-cam, watch all the videos, and learn from all the comments. They have been doing so on social media for years.
The most important thing is to stipulate all important transactions to be in person! And freeze all credit files. Never click on links! As far as I know most crucial changes require in person and added notary etc…assume everyone to be scammers or incompetent and verify and due diligence when it’s important.
Better than a password manager is to not use your computer to access your bank accounts. Use it only for credit card accounts, but never for checking or savings. If you do not absolutely need to do it online, the old school way is safest.

This is just an idea, but what would you think of posting a duplicate of this video, using a title like, "Social Security Recipients; Watch Out For These Scams"? I freely admit to not knowing the first thing about UA-cam's policy on posting duplicate videos, or how their algorithm might treat something with the word "Scam" in the title. Technicalities aside though, I do genuinely believe that doing something like re-posting this one would be an excellent service to the community. I've watched most of your videos now. I'm still many years away from getting Social Security, and only looked at this particular one because I really like your presentations and figured I might as well start educating myself on the details. In a million years, I never would have guessed that it really contained some of the most important content you've ever published, and that it was really about various scams, and some ways to protect yourself from them. Thanks again for all the great content that you post!
It depends how they’re built. The one I used hasn’t been hacked since they launched 15 years ago, but if they were, here’s what happens: blog.1password.com/what-if-1password-gets-hacked/
I get numerous call daily. I never answer a call. If it’s somebody that I know I’ll answer. If it’s a number I don’t recognize and they don’t leave a message I’ll block the number. If they leave a message it might be like 3 seconds long, I’ll block the number. It’s ridiculous. Basically I block every damn number.
I never answer any calls, they can leave a voicemail, and I will verify the number and phone them back or not usually not. I normally change my cellphone numbers every 3 months and when I talk I switch to Airplane mode.
Great video and good information. I wonder if in the future none of us will be dealing with others 1 on 1? We all should be using an anti-scammer AI avatar of ourselves. Sorta like our AI vs their AI, battling it out. In reality we'll all be fat lazy people laying around without moving like in WALL-E
Any unsolicited communication to you, means they want something from you. Any large transfer of money, go to the human location. Scams nowadays are largely performed in the digital world.
Never answer your door or phone for people you don't know, especially if you're not expecting anyone. Don't click on any links in text messages or emails. Get contact information off of a companies legitimate website, your card, or statement, not Google. Keep your internet security software updated on your computer and your software updated on your phone.
Scammers are calling all the time and they will continue to do so. The best solution is not answering the phone... If someone legitimate he/she will leave a message. Based on the message you can decide if you will call back or not. Do not let anyone fool you with AI or any other scams.

This is really getting scary, like in the movies. Life imitating [the] arts [of the inauthentic!] I notice it is the urgency (or incitement factor). But has anyone also notice youTube videos skip in rapid-fire between the key points being conveyed makes it appear like spliced segments of different videos. That also is the visual clue that stands out in AI generated videos which upcoming improvements will eventually make flawless to undiscerning eyes.
I send all phone calls that are not in my contacts to voicemail with the message that I was either busy or they were not in my contacts, so leave a message! I get zero call backs with that number. Text messages that are not in my contacts, i don’t answer. This system requires you to make a contact addition in order to not offend later by not answering or texting back, or if you are expecting them to call you back.
Each bureau can be called . Then you have to deal with lots of questions that they use to verify that you are legit. Then they lock down your account. You can have the bureaus unlock for a period of time that you determine - could be a week or a few days or a month, etc. I believe you can do this more easily on their websites, but I prefer to call.

By next year, they will have that flaw fixed. They are using AI to write software for other AI to run. Guess where they get the best screening and analysis of their work? UA-cam videos and comments. AI can monitor UA-cam, watch all the videos, and learn from all the comments. They have been doing so on social media for years.
EXCELLENT VIDEO! thanks! I just emailed it to my family members
Could you please do a video on federal retirement? Just subbed!
Sure! I’ll add it to the list.
@@foundryfinancial Thank you!
Same thing happened me a call from our credit union SCAM
The most important thing is to stipulate all important transactions to be in person! And freeze all credit files. Never click on links! As far as I know most crucial changes require in person and added notary etc…assume everyone to be scammers or incompetent and verify and due diligence when it’s important.
Better than a password manager is to not use your computer to access your bank accounts. Use it only for credit card accounts, but never for checking or savings. If you do not absolutely need to do it online, the old school way is safest.
Rest assured most banks won’t call-and that’s why I don’t use debit cards today and I have always monitored my accounts and set alerts.
Excellent information. Thank you Kevin.
I don't bank online!! None of my info is on my phone or online. Nothing I ever put there 😂
Very wise.
Great information. Thanks!
For all of the security questions, favorite pet, street you grew up, mothers maiden name, etc. My response had nothing to do with the question. You never know what is in the public domain.
Kudos to your mother-in-law!
Me I receive most times 60 call up every day, not even answer numbers I don't know
Wow Kevin great video great information I’ve gotten several notifications over the past couple years that my info is all over the place so you have given my more tools to protect my self thank you
Thanks!
Yes but password manager can be hacked
It depends how they’re built. The one I used hasn’t been hacked since they launched 15 years ago, but if they were, here’s what happens: blog.1password.com/what-if-1password-gets-hacked/
@@foundryfinancial what is the one you use?
@KMF3 1Password
Now they can even copy the 2 part verification system .
You got it I will share with everyone the scammers and sales people call me daily I just quit answering the phone.
Thanks! It’s so important, because many people don’t realize how the scams are changing.
Lol…if my phone rings and I don’t know the number, I answer it speaking wyandot.
They always hang up.
The question that no one is asking who created this and why is this allowed and I think I know why.
I have my spray next to my front door with security door locked, I won’t open it to just anyone.
Thank you so much for this...
My pleasure. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing the video, lots of good information and tips...Thanks again.🥰
Of course! Thanks for watching.
(06:00) I only use the contact number on a bank card to contact a bank.
Smart.
AI technology is getting much powerful that we all should pay attention to
Thank you for these tips.
If a number comes up, without my file card name. I do not accept calls nor tge text. I then block and delete both
Any unsolicited communication to you, means they want something from you.

Please warn against romance scammers.
There needs to be severe penalties for scammers. Very long prison sentences and loss of their assets.
I received an online ordered package from Home Depot. I have a login account with them & for 1st time it says my email login isn't in the server. Called them to cancel my account, returned the item & check my credit card App charges few times a week
This is really getting scary, like in the movies. Life imitating [the] arts [of the inauthentic!]
I notice it is the urgency (or incitement factor). But has anyone also notice youTube videos skip in rapid-fire between the key points being conveyed makes it appear like spliced segments of different videos. That also is the visual clue that stands out in AI generated videos which upcoming improvements will eventually make flawless to undiscerning eyes.
Awesome vid
Thanks!
You said to freeze your credit but didn't say how.

James Bond Mission impossible
The imposter AI images can't fool voice recognition technology no matter how well it mimics a person.
not for this government
WE have to go back to the old saying backwards "believe non of what you see and 1/2 of what you hear".
It sounds like you need a codeword with your loved ones, And periodically change it.
Don't be deceived by the title. He's giving an example or series of examples of the scammers that are out there.Using a I and how they're effectively getting through at the governmental levels period it's just a good idea for everybody to watch this. Those on social security,
SSI, disability, and for everyone to learn the tricks.
Text msgs fr Post Office "undeliverable " asking for complete info, your bank with link to login, or instruct to copy URL & copy/ open on a browser. Dont read, Delete right away.
you DA BEST, as always!!!
Thanks!
After reviewing video, also realized that, for us, there is, unfortunately, no new information here. Or is it fortunately? Hm
Ha. Glad you have it covered.
OMG, the Federal Government can be fooled? WTH…do you think that they even care?
This is like Terminator the Sarah Connor chronicles. They used safe words for everything.
Thank You
When they say , I need to verify that it's really you .
( saying my name )
They go on to ask for my address, birthday, etc .
I tell them to tell me what you have and I'll tell you if you're right . ( maybe )
They wont do it .
When they say this call is being recorded .
I say , you are also being recorded. They say you're not allowed to do that .
I say, well then hang up .
It's my phone and I can do what I want !!!
🤣😂
I have all kinds of tricks up my sleeves for these scammers .
But , I still have to be very careful as they are SUPER SLICK !!!
😇🙏
Haha! Sounds like you have some fun with it.
What I would like to know is how are people learning to pull off these scams? WHO is teaching this?
They learn it online. Or if they went to prison, they learn it in prison.
When you're told to pay by gift cards that's a red flag...scam
Shut it all down !
How do we know this video isn't a scam for the password company you recommended?
I think that would be called a ad or paid endorsement. Although, this is neither. Just what I use.
@@foundryfinancial I know, I wasn't trying to be a wise guy, I was merely pointing out how messed up everything is! I appreciate your videos as I approach my SS eligibility!!! Great content and presentation!!
It’s true!
Well A I IS A COMPUTER SO U HAVE THE INFORMATION ON YOUR PHONE SO THEY KNOW YO STUFF
With that new A.I. voice language, lip match technology maybe they will fix all those old Godzillia movies.
