This makes me realise how important representation is. When she says ‘when I used to be living as a boy… or whatever’ ( as a trans person myself) I related to this so much - that awkward moment when you have to come out at some point to everyone you meet. It’s a constant thing and it’s so nice seeing someone just being trans and dealing with it in their daily life. she’s so awesome 🥰🥰

There's a young kid who gets a magic pencil and anything he draws from the pencil becomes real. It ran from October 2000 - October 2004 with 491 episodes.
There was a polish cartoon named Zaczarowany ołówek wich had 0 dialogues, so it was easy for Hungary to air it. They only translated the title (Magic Pencil) and thats how I saw my version of the topic :)
This girl is amazing - so much talent - and, just genuine. One of the most impressive things, IMO, is that she co- wrote and then acted in one of the two special episodes at S1. This was one of the most profound things I've aver watched. Applause and all that. Damn.
The casting of this show is so brilliant. I love that Sam Levinson found Hunter and brought out the most devastatingly moving performances out of her. Then this season, he’s added Dominic Fike! I know this might seem like an easy thing because the cast is SO talented, but inspiring award worthy performances from a runway model and a pop singer must take incredible vision and skill. No question, Hunter is a genius, but we might not know that right now if not for the imagination and talent of the casting directors, producers and director of Euphoria. A lot of behind the scenes brilliance is never acknowledged. So, I’m here to say BRAVO!!!

I think it's great that her parents were so supportive when she came out as trans. Her parents are both pastors & the family lives in North Carolina, a pretty conservative area & there were fights in her school about which bathroom Hunter should use, but her parents stood by her. Hunter herself became an activist while still in high shool. I think she ended up graduating HS early because the best modeling agencies wanted her to work full-time; her Wikipedia page says she would have gone to art school in London if her modeling career hadn't suddenly taken off (& then she was approached about acting in Euphoria, which was much more interesting than walking the runway even if the modeling is for the best designers & the clothes are amazing... so now she's acting full-time while modeling occassionally). One cool thing about her - as if everything about her isn't already the coolest imaginble - is that she didn't change her name when she transitioned. "Hunter" is a name that anyone can use, & while lots of trans people want a clear boundry between their childhood - when they by necessity lived as the gender they were assigned at birth... so they don't want anyone even knowing their "deadname" ie the name they were assigned at birth, which since they're trans their birth name is the wrong gender for them... But, since the name Hunter is so perfect for her regardless of whether she's a male, a female, or non-binary/something between (and since she was already famous from her trans activism & it's harder to change a name when everyone knows it... she just kept the name "Hunter Schafer," became a famous actor/writer/model and kept on rolling

You could also say they are a man but they are a trans woman and because they would prefer to be called a woman, one should err on calling them a woman. But just because you are on the tail of the spectrum, doesn't make you any less valid as a person. Just because you are male doesn't mean you can't associate with being a woman. Season 2 of Euphoria is FIRE so far one of the best opening episode I've ever seen. I was hooked when it first came out but man Sam Levinson is a freaking genius and hats off to the cast I think Euphoria will win awards again for season 2 because it's filmed beautiful and played out great.

I think it's great that her parents were so supportive when she came out as trans. Her parents are both pastors & the family lives in North Carolina, a pretty conservative area & there were fights in her school about which bathroom Hunter should use, but her parents stood by her.
Hunter herself became an activist while still in high shool. I think she ended up graduating HS early because the best modeling agencies wanted her to work full-time; her Wikipedia page says she would have gone to art school in London if her modeling career hadn't suddenly taken off (& then she was approached about acting in Euphoria, which was much more interesting than walking the runway even if the modeling is for the best designers & the clothes are amazing... so now she's acting full-time while modeling occassionally).
One cool thing about her - as if everything about her isn't already the coolest imaginble - is that she didn't change her name when she transitioned. "Hunter" is a name that anyone can use, & while lots of trans people want a clear boundry between their childhood - when they by necessity lived as the gender they were assigned at birth... so they don't want anyone even knowing their "deadname" ie the name they were assigned at birth, which since they're trans their birth name is the wrong gender for them...
But, since the name Hunter is so perfect for her regardless of whether she's a male, a female, or non-binary/something between (and since she was already famous from her trans activism & it's harder to change a name when everyone knows it... she just kept the name "Hunter Schafer," became a famous actor/writer/model and kept on rolling
She is going to be a big star. She's good on Euphoria and very charismatic and beautiful.
And he is a man.

@@PepsiMagt well that is not the presented medically accepted terminology. A woman is someone of the feminine gender. You could also say they are a man but they are a trans woman and because they would prefer to be called a woman, one should err on calling them a woman.
A trans woman has strong feelings they are a woman and it is associated with gender dysphoria. Females are on the gender spectrum and are most commonly associated with the feminine gender and males are also on the gender spectrum and are most commonly associated with the masculine gender. But just because you are on the tail of the spectrum, doesn't make you any less valid as a person. Just because you are male doesn't mean you can't associate with being a woman. But a trans woman will always be male. You can't change your sex. You can only change the appearance of your sex. And you can definitely change your gender.

Season 2 of Euphoria is FIRE so far one of the best opening episode I've ever seen. I was hooked when it first came out but man Sam Levinson is a freaking genius and hats off to the cast I think Euphoria will win awards again for season 2 because it's filmed beautiful and played out great.
