If he is going to make a longer video, instead of just talking about all of the settings... it would be best to change each individual setting, and show visual presentations to describe why he prefers one setting over another. They say seeing is believing, and yet all I hear is anecdotal words spitting out of vocal cords. That is why this long video is unnecessary, because it lacks presentation.
Uh WOW is all I can say I've been pc gaming on a TLC tv with the wrong settings for A LONG TIME. Found this video after googling THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING BRO! Have you heard that there are now TLC tv's with 120hz? the 2018 version... and a cord at walmart that goes for 120hz as well! Why pc game with a tv monitor? because a giant screen pulls you in the game... so anyway the future for me instead of gaming monitors is PC gaming with a higher refresh TV. IF I had money I'd put money in TLC stock trades.
color temperature not only reduced blue light. It is because in warm temperature it make the tv color closer to d65 which is the correct color. Human eyes are used to blue-ish white and grey. A well calibrated TV will always look weird because it look yellow/orange-ish. Once you get used to it, you'll love it and the game company/movie company will love you too :)
Looks great now on my new tv! Thanks so much for your advice. Appreciate all the time and effort you put into this post as it works. Anyone else who gave this a "thumbs down" obviously don't know what they are doing
My Next TV probably will be a TCL, unfortunately its hard to find in Portuguese market, Im impressed with this TV thanks to you, I have the Samsung MU8000 and Im pretty satisfied but this TCL TV does a bit more for less money 😟.
Definitely depends on how bright your viewing area is. If it's a brighter room(daylight from windows, a lamp always on, etc), then I suggest you use normal or neutral. But, if you are using this TV In a darker viewing area(basement, theater room, bed room with little outside light), I suggest using the warm setting. At first you'll be disappointed because you have gotten used to the blue filter caused by cool settings. If the warm setting is still too much after trying for a week, then try normal or neutral.
Is anyone else having HDR issues on the xbox one x?? I feel like it makes my game darker. I’ve done everything i can to fix it but HDR off just looks soo much better, yes my tv does have HDR idk why it looks better off Game where it just looks awful for me is madden 18, not the new madden, Madden 18 Packers helmets turn from a nice bright yellow to a dull orange looking color almost. Really bugging me since game came out. Idk what to do, buy a new tv???
Well First of All you forgot to describe on your long comment , What TV ?? what Model ?? What Panel ?? and what type of settings you have on your TV , please try to add Detailed Question , Thanks !
MR 4K UPSCALER thanks for replying! It’s a 55 in. Samsung UNJU6500 I have game mode on, I followed the calibration settings on the xbox. HDR makes things look a little duller, just tested this with a movie as well HDR off is nice and bright, colors pop but not as much as I know they probably can Dynamic contrast off and your pretty generic settings Brightness 45 Contrast 100 (hdr always changes this automatically when on) Color 50
MR 4K UPSCALER update: just found my tv on rtings and apparently there is no HDR although my xbox has all green check marks when at 10 bit display It’s UHD, that’s probably my problem...
That TV is really not that good , to be honest , if i was you i would sell it and go with TCL R617 for $600 , that TV has decent contrast ratio , uniformity is really bad , i mean its just overall a bad TV for HDR and 4K , and i mean this in a most honest way , it does not have necessary tech inside to be HDR Certified .Its good for low latency input lag on Games , but that's about it , don't expect that TV to shine with Xbox One X .
MR 4K UPSCALER Thank you so much for your honest opinion! I’ve had this tv for over 2 years now so kinda figured it wouldn’t match up.I have been saving money. I’m tempted to go with the tclr617 like you said. However I do have enough to either purchase a qled or thinking about oled. I’m not worried about saving $, looking for the actual display quality and game latency. Is the tcl r617 still the tv i should go with? If there’s tiny detail I’ll miss out by not getting qled or oled then I’ll just go with that because I really wanna maximize the xbox x capabilities I’m currently missing out on! Thanks again!
Keep color at 50 % , Sharpness at 0% & tone of color Expert one , Contrast & backlit 100% & brightness 50% , Black Level High & Black Level Adjustment at 50 %
Thanks for making this. I tried similar settings on a 1080 and it looks way better than how it looked on the default settings.
How to make a 2 min video almost 20 minutes long.

My game always looks dark and washed out
same

His stands are the wrong way 😂they are facing inward
They definitely are😂😂
They invert because they can. They are made to work either way.
@@RoyalBoyle78 ok... I realize that but the instructions say otherwise
It looks good but it’s dark
What settings would you change if your tv was a TCL 5 series?
I don’t have the local contrast only dynamic
Mr 4K which would you recommend color temp for lg oled ? In the middle at 0?
warm 50
What game is that you’re playing?
Forza horizon 4
I just could not make it thought this.
The warm color temp looks really bad on my tv

Have u tried the ipq app yet to calibrate? I recently picked up the 75 incher! Thx! We don't have iphones in the house so can't do 😒
Should I revert all my settings to this for the other games you reviewed. Tomb Raider,God Of War,Red Dead 2? I use whatever you post lmao

What about tcl dp600? Bought it recently as my old tv died and I just can't figure out the best settings for my ps4
My tv has the color option of warm, cold and neutral temperature. Would it be warm? or natural
I would set on neutral
Should I use 8bit or 10bit color on my xbone x?
Please help Do You Have Input lag in the Tcl 4K Tv ?
If you have game mode on then it’s really reduced to a minimum
Is the new TCL 55 C 715 good for Gaming?
Any recommendations for tcl 55s405?
Can you please share settings for regular antenna tv
So is that ok for a tcl 4. ??
Elite 1 obviously it will fall not my elite 2
When I put sharpness to 0 it’s blurry
Same
Put it on 5
I looks nice
I dont have 4K tv
I have a TCL smart tv 32" has game mode
Why do you have the TV stands facing inward?
So it will sit on a narrower stand
Dude did you put your tv stand on wrong side
You could put it either way.
Is the r615 the same model?
Yes it's just Best Buy's version which is identical except it lacks voice control on the remote
idk man i like that higher color than 50 . 80 wooo lol
What name this game
Gta 5
Any recommended picture settings for x900f?
Just bought one yesterday.
Keep color at 50 % , Sharpness at 0% & tone of color Expert one , Contrast & backlit 100% & brightness 50% , Black Level High & Black Level Adjustment at 50 %
Sucks
Thank you for the recommendation but it all depends on the person's eye
Keep up good work
Hey did you get access to Forza Horizon 4 yet, mine won't launch and I've got early access. Just wondering your thoughts. I'm on pc
