- In this video I travel a little while out of Melbourne for some bird photography in a wet rainforest in country Victoria. Here I am in search of two species of birds, pink robins and rose robins. I managed to find them but they are a little tricky to get video footage of.

Great video! While South Australia is unique in its own ways and is great for birding, I feel that Victorians are lucky with the choice of birds 🙂 The Eastern yellow, flame, rose and pink Robins, the full colour crimson rosellas, ganggang cockatoos, azure kingfisher etc. Some of which we can get in S.A. but usually on the border with Vic. Anyway this video has made me think about doing some rainforest photography next year, rainforests are just something we don't get here and I want to change up from my usual outback trips, but it does look challenging and this helps me see what i'm up against.
Yeah if you're interested in seeing some of those species then definitely a trip to Victoria is warranted. Maybe wait until we are having better weather though, at the moment it's miserable here!
