I’ve watched all of your Alaska series so far. I’m loving it, can’t wait until the next video. Your birthday was an amazing time and very relaxed. I also follow your friends FnA Van Life. Both couples seem to be having a fantastic time. May God continue to Bless you both. Thanks for sharing your adventures.
Seward is a great town especially around and on the 4 th of July. Remarkably then that the biggest event of the year there, the Marathon Mountain race climb, didn't even get a mention.
John, you're exactly right and that's why we returned for 4th of July 2021 to find that the Marathon WASN'T scheduled like normal that year... 😢 Due to COVID, they spread out the events in 2021 to avoid crowding. We still had a great time, caught the fireworks and parade, but it would have been great to watch the marathon. -Howard
Glad you made over that hump boondocking. Glad you got sone wood to use for camp fire. The food you ate looked good at the place that said beer is good or something and food not great. I love the Sea Life Center. Those seals are so cute. I always fell like I want to pet them when I see them.
That BBQ looked good! That was cute bird watching and then sheep watching. There is a young girl from Seward Alaska that is swimming and got a gold medal in the summer games today.
Such a beautiful video!! Can’t believe you got so close to pet a seal, they are so beautiful. The puffins there are so stink’in cute. The food as usually looked so delicious. I can’t believe at 11:00 pm,it is so bright outside,I think I would be so mixed up for awhile..haha..Scout seemed to have a wonderful time on the boardwalk,so sweet!!.The National park was beautiful,so sad the glacier is receding, someday it will be gone.😔. The views were awesome though, thank you again for another wonderful video. Take care and stay safe. Big hugs…🇨🇦💕
I'm not a huge salmon person. But the salmon I had in Fairbanks was amazing. The quality of some of the local caught fish there is better than anywhere lower 48
Thank you for this awesome video. I enjoyed watching it. I enjoyed seeing the fireworks when it was light out. I love you when you were going hiking to the glacier. That was awesome.
I definitely like Seward a lot better than Homer. Nothing like having a cup of coffee in the morning and watching the charter boats go out surrounded by beautiful Mountains fresh air nothing like it in the world. I don't want to be anywhere else but Alaska. I mentioned it in the last video and you guys mentioned it again I'm really upset the City of Seward doubled the camping prices. Now when I go Halibut fishing I think I will camp where you guys did.
You guys sound just positively giddy in these videos! So fun to watch. I can’t believe how much that glacier has receded. I also like cheap beer and lousy food, so I would have loved that place! 😂
Love following along on your adventures! I have used a lot of your recommendations with my family as we have explored Alaska on a family trip. Thank you for posting the great content and for having such great attitudes!
RVing seems to be the best way to see Alaska! I’m traveling to Alaska next weekend. Starting with a flight to Anchorage and finishing up in Fairbanks, I have excursions planned in Seward, Whittier, and Denali. My entire trip is built around Alaska Rail. It’ll be my first visit to the state; I can hardly wait!😊
Hello fellow nomads! Some of our viewers commented that we should check out your channel. We are here in Alaska too. ❤️ Looks like you've got some great content. Hope you are enjoying Alaska. We are a full time RV Travel nurse fam in Anchorage for the summer and traveling around in our teal Jeep on side trips. Perhaps we'll see you out there!
Hi there! Hope you're enjoying Alaska as well, and it would be great to cross paths with fellow full-time RVers on YT! Connect with us on IG and DM us, let's see if there's any overlap in our travel plans. Going to go check out some of your episodes now! 👍 -Howard
Watching this while eating fish and chips in Seward!!! 😀 It was awesome getting to meet you two at the lodge in Moose Pass! You two were the sweetest people! Will definitely be following along on your adventures. 🏔
I have a different question. I am planning a trip to Alaska in the summer of 2023. I routinely take a solo stove, smoker and the trusty blackstone griddle. Do you think any of these would not be used enough to take? Perhaps other items that might not get used? Totally enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing.
Terry, thanks for watching and great question! Tough to answer for us, as we don't have any of the three. I will say, however, that there is ample opportunity to use all of them with all the beautiful camping up here in Alaska! So glad you found us and are along for the journey! 👍 -Howard
Enjoying your Alaska travels, keep up the great content!!! We are planning a rv trip to Alaska in 2121 with our three dogs. Thank you for posting about the specific original document need to enter Alaska with a pet. Doing a google search on how many dogs can you take onto Canada, the first hit from 2017 was two, but looking at the Canadian website I cannot find that you cannot take three. In past trips we had two dogs and was not asked for any documents, but with covid and tightened security did you have any questions about taking three dogs into Canada or Alaska? Thanks again for the outstanding content, looking forward to seeing your adventures!
Jeff, thanks so much and apologies for the late reply! I'm not aware of any such restriction regarding number of dogs when crossing into Canada. Each time we have crossed, they ask and we happily tell them three. About half the time, they will ask if you have their rabies paperwork, but we have never needed to show it. Hope that helps! 👍 -Howard
hi! thanks for sharing your video.. how far from your free camp site in the beginning from "SeaLife Center in Seward" ? do you know the name/location of the free camping site ?
Great question! The general rule is to look for fuel whenever you reach a half a tank. Along the most popular routes, you shouldn't be more than 100 miles between gas stations, and almost all have both gas and diesel. We have all the fuel stops, along with activities, dining and accommodations for both our 2019 and 2021 trips (150+ points on the map) included with our planning guide: newstatenomads.com/rvalaska Thanks for watching! 👍 - Howard

I loved your AK Sealife Center portion of your video. Excellent cause. AK is so gorgeous. Every video is more beautiful
Thanks, Karla! We love sharing stories like the Sealife Center and the people doing incredible work. Glad you're along for the journey! 👍 -Howard
What a beautiful glacier after your hike!
When you watch a golden eagle circling high in a clear sky and the sun shines on their wings they do look golden. It is amazing to see.
There is Howard's mosquito dance lol. Hi from the river bed. You guys ran up that trail lol crazy what 16 years has done. Great episode 👏

Heyyy .... I'm from India....lots of love from India n keep it up......😍😍😍
We absolutely loved the Sea Life Center. I had heard they closed down because of Covid. I'm thrilled they are up and operating.
Close call! I'd have been devastated if that actually happened
Mmmmm Halibut. Looks like a cool town. Enjoy.
The halibut here is so delicious!!
Have a great week and see you soon!
I learned so much from this video. Thank you.
That BBQ looked good! That was cute bird watching and then sheep watching. There is a young girl from Seward Alaska that is swimming and got a gold medal in the summer games today.
Nice another bucket list location. Thanks!
Video was so interesting! My husband has always wanted to go to Alaska....this video makes me want to go to!

So glad we got to camp together in Seward!
Well done guys....and that's coming from former Alaska residents! Looking forward to more.
Another great one!
I’m thinking you may be summering in Alaska many times. Your love for The Last Frontier is inspiring.
The town sure has changed. I was in Seward, from 73-76 during the winter for a week each year while in the Coast Guard.
watching your videos makes me want to go back to Alaska
Thanks, CJ! Glad you are along for the journey back to Alaska with us! 👍 -Howard
I can't believe you got to pet a seal! How cool is that. It was a hard haul for you to get there but it looks so worth it!
So awesome! I just love watching your adventures. Thank you 😊
Thank YOU, Dave! We're so glad you're along for the journey! 👍 -Howard

Any idea where the location of the boondocking 2 boulder spot is? Would love to check it out.

What a fabulous city! Everything looks amazing. But I want to know what Howard did when he was 13...
We were there the week after you. Loved it!

The seals are soooo cute! You all do the coolest stuff. The glacier location is sad. Thanks for taking us along! ✌🏻

You didn't take any video of the Mountain Marathon?
It wasn't scheduled like usual (due to Covid-19) and we missed it when they finally had it a few days later! ☹️ -Howard
hi! thanks for sharing your video.. how far from your free camp site in the beginning from "SeaLife Center in Seward" ? do you know the name/location of the free camping site ?
If you only had a 40’ 5 th wheel to pull would you take it to Alaska. I want to make the trip but I’m worried about the length.
What do you do for gas in these remote and isolated areas of Alaska?

Too bad you guys weren’t in Seward today for the Olympic watch party. Looks like the whole town was put cheering on Lydia Jacoby.
