At the interview of Japan, Jimin said, V is such a pure person as like a naive child and it's not means he is childish. I agreed with it 10000%. I have never seen him acts like sinically or bitterly to others. He didn't judge others by their wacky saying but admit them by themselves. I assume he has grown up with cheerful and supportive affection whatever he will do and it is not usual in Korea, such a competitive society. Thanks to his parents. And once more thanks to give him an extraordinary good looking DNA.

I love V so much. He's always the one who is thinking and imagining and creating something new or looking at something in a different way. I think that's why he always makes me cry when he writes letters to the other members because he puts so much thought into it that, by his childlike attitude, you don't know that he is always thinking about life and his morals and the small details about his members. He is so much deeper than people first realize and has such a childlike sense of wonder in his eyes that you don't realize his mind racing about different, cool, and strange new ideas. He is a truly unique person that I love and that we should all cherish. 💜💜💜

I totally agree about VMon being a peer-mentor relationship.
I think it was Suga who once said that both Jimin and RM were the same age mentally (23-24) and Jin and Jungkook were the same age mentally (10-12). ..... _(tell us what you really think, Suga, ha)_
So I think Jimin and RM are really very similar people in terms of how their internal environment and how they process the world around them....and they're both really proud of V, who is quite different from _anyone_ really. So V fills a part of their hearts.
So whereas Minjoon comes across as big-brother-little-brother leaning on each other, in general interactions,
R&V only really get this big-brother-little-brother vibe when it comes to professionally or artistically.
I'd say on an artistic/professional level, Minjoon are actually quite well matched. Like all the times Jimin was teaching RM dance...even when RM is praising Jimin's poetry or his ability to write lyrics, or when Jimin is thanking RM for Serendipity, or whatever.
But I'll never forget the Bangtan Bomb showing the _behind the scenes_ to 4 o' Clock, how RM was saying, _no it's your song, your moment to show off_ and V was insisting that he likes RM's voice, he wants RM to sing with him on _his song_ .
And though V comes across as on an equal level with RM in general interactions between the two, I'll always remember that ASC episode, where Jimin and Jungkook were asked to write down who RM looks after/cares for the most -- while JK immediately carved a V into his paper, Jimin wrote 'Jimin' -- and RM said that it would probably be V, though he outwardly looks after Jimin the most, privately, he thinks he looks after V more.

Commented this last vid, but this is something that I've thought about more than once.
V was apparently super popular in school...charismatic.
This didn't come immediately, as far as I can tell, but it was a innate part of his personality. He once told this story about another boy who had great grades and was really athletic, whereas V was just an average student. The kid conned V into buying him a birthday present without telling him where the birthday party was at, even as he told all the other children. V later found out the kid was _jealous_ of _how well V got along with the others_ . And years later, V treated this kid (all grown up) to coffee.
I also believe after coming to Seoul, both V and Jimin went to the same highschool, though they didn't really know each other before BTS. Jimin knew V though...he was supposedly very popular, and ,once, when some other kid was bothering Jimin, kinda picking on him, V came up, threw an arm around Jimin and said something along the lines of "hey, hey, why are you picking on my friend". Jimin, despite being a class topper, with great grades and a class president at some point, was much more shy...so they didn't really know each other, but BTS made them BFFs . :)
And we all know V is social butterfly king among idol groups. A lot (and I mean _a lot_ ) of other idols, MC's, etc. have talked about how cute they think Jimin is or how striking he is as a performer. But V is the one who everyone seems to know or be friends with. There are compilations out there of all kinds of random people giving "V from BTS" a call, just to talk or whatever.
I said it last time, but there is a reason why V is one of the BTS members that intimidates me the most. Like, BTS as a concept, has always been about boys you can flip-flop between relating-to and looking-up-to. I've known people that gave me V vibes...people you get the feeling you have to truly dig deeper to understand and appreciate, people who you may never truly know even after a lifetime.
I don't have a bias or whatnot, but if RM was the one I clicked with first, V was the one I clicked with last....and probably for the exact reason VMon is a duo with its specific intrinsic dynamics.
    Yeah V is a genius.
To me, he is the love child between the "golden maknae" concept and "manic pixie dream boy" trope.... like it feels like he is both good at everything and that he collects his interests the way others collect postage stamps. A touch of
    classical music, jazz/soul/RnB, the sax,
old school films, acting...especially bringing color to something black-and-white, set in stone, like
the typical tough macho guy or nerd staples...or something set into stone like a historical drama,
photography and minimalism, impressionism and Warhol-esque "art for consumers".....
He likes a lot of things and wants to explore a lot of things. He's a charmer, but plays his cards close and has strong boundaries in his head, I believe...extraordinarily _loyal_ to the idea of family, of Bangtan (both being a member and an idol for fans). Both really forward thinking, but _really_ traditional too...he likes his old films and fashion, he likes archetypes and trope-y characters... didn't he once say that he liked the idea of having 3-5 kids in the future, and the idea of being able to tell his son, "kid, you know, once I was famous..." Very hard to get a read on...I still don't think I really read the guy well at all.
I don't think I'd ever meet BTS, but if I did, I think I'd do okay ...... I can do flowery verbiage, and like public speaking, it'd be a matter of...inhabiting a persona for an hour or two. The thing is, I'd never really know whether he was inhabiting a character as well, and more importantly, what that character was . I'm not explaining myself well, but maybe I just mean that -- whereas I have JHope friends and Suga friends etc. --- I think V is just completely out of my league in terms of friendships. He's just up in the stratosphere, which isn't a bad thing at all.
I know people called him weird and 4-D, but I hope it didn't hurt him too much. I know, at least some of the time, he owned it, was proud of it. Of being the silly one and a champion for weirdos. And as much as the members tease each other (especially how harsh they could get in early Bangtan), I think he has always been such a family-oriented guy, a person who took loyalty for granted that he new he had a place in Bangtan.
I want to say not just RM, but some other duos that come to mind...
Jimin and V had to be soulmate best-friends. They've called each other their saviors. Like RM, Jimin has such pride in V and really knew from the beginning that V was, honestly, kinda out of their league amazing. Just sharing the little moments of every day, besides sharing their weakest sides with each other had to be the greatest comfort. VMin really does remind me of VMon, but also Namsoek. And really, VMin is VMin....I don't ship romantically, but the song DNA could be written entirely for VMin.
And, hopefully, V found comfort in his "goofy boy" persona, by kinda associating with the maknae, Jungkook. Even though Jimin is only two years older than JK, Jikook has always had a vastly different dynamic to me than Vkook. Jimin immediately goes to "I want to protect/take care/shield your innocence" type of mode with Jungkook. But Vkook had to have been a comfortable place to be, especially in early Bangtan when he was often thought of as the 4-D kid,.... to be a child gives him room to grow, to revel in his natural sense of spontaneity without it being seen as a lacking to anyone else... if that makes sense?
I do think Taegi only became Taegi with time. Whereas RM and Jimin immediately thought V was an Van Gogh, I think Suga and V had to work on their relationship. Not that I think one thought the other wasn't worthy or whatever, but I don't think Suga would be sending long-butt text messages of love to V, and V getting chills reading it, without how much they _wanted_ to love each other.
Other dynamics, too....I think Jin is actually a lot like V. He might have felt like he wasn't meant to be there in early Bangtan, but he has a strong sense of traditional-family-style loyalty. Unlike V, he couldn't really fully associate himself with the maknae to "excuse" his spontaneity, but I think Taejin really _get_ each other on a very different level. They're also both unexpected planners, business-minded, I want to say. I think V and Jin might have found comfort in simply the _idea_ of each other in early Bangtan, honestly.
And VHope was 100%, 'my mentor' in a _completely_ different way than RM. Like RM was going to help him grow into who he was meant to be with gentle encouragement, but J-Hope was his _"sunbaenim"_ (even though he's obvi not), he was going to scold him for not doing a step correctly and school him on being a performer so that he can achieve his dreams. He could put his trust in the older brother, cause it was straight-forward -- work when you work, play when you play.
Anyway, I once again hope he didn't feel too hurt by his older labels. I joined the ARMY party a bit late...sometimes bullying can be unwitting and depend on the victim. Which isn't me trying to put the burden of bullying on the victim, but I hope V took his '4-D' title as something to be his own, and that he knew his place in Bangtan, knew his ability to charm and was secure in himself to do what he had to do. *I hope he recognized his charisma early enough that he took pride in being well-loved enough to feel unbothered by the ones that called him weird.*
    Anyway, V, fighting!

I feel like V is a bit of an enigma. Like I can’t label him as clearly as I can RM or Suga or Jin. I believe that it is partially because he is young but because he has shown so much growth that it’s hard to clearly describe him. It makes me sad to think people were cruel to him because he is different. From my understanding of Korean culture particularly KPOP every member has to play a role and anyone who challenges the status quo in being unusual is met with harshness. Westerners do this too of course. Just look whenever Disney stars decide to produce mature content. People are allowed to be multilayered and should be celebrated for it. V is creative, kind, gifted, silly, mature, and seems to maybe give other performers in Korea the permission to be more diverse and accepting of their uniqueness. He isn’t my bias (as my name gives it away lol) but when I see him preform or talk I listen and watch in awe. I find comfort in his oddities and his charm and I am just so glad he is part of bts. I love Van Gogh personally myself (seeing someone with bipolar express themselves so clearly and beautifully makes me feel less alone in my illness) and seeing him enjoy the work of a complex imperfect man like Van Gogh is like seeing myself. I wish there were more people like V in the world. He will definitely do amazing with within bts and afterwards. I’m glad to be alive in a time where even a woman from Australia can find content that despite the language barrier and the cultural differences makes me feel I can relate to someone in ways that my day to day interacts don’t give me. A sense of family with 7 silly but wonderful men I will probably never actually meet. The wonders of the internet 😂
Thank you for reacting to him. I’m a bit older than some ARMY (33😊) and having gone through personal loss myself I worry about V and how much his loss must affect him. Being in the spot light isn’t easy and I hope where ever he is he can feel all the love we have for him.

    • @emanas2530
      @emanas2530 6 років тому +3

Indeed, the idea that, not just us silly young fangirls, but even older ARMY find V an enigma...comforts me?
BTS does truly bring people across language, cultural and age barriers. Really, ARMY is just as inspiring as BTS.
I hope you do well, I hope V does well.
PS. I like your Disney parallel, because it is one I've thought of a lot as well! Especially with regards to Jungkook -- part of me thinks part of the reason JK likes people like Justin Beiber, Troye Sivan, and Ariana Grande so much is because they were all also young talented singers that found themselves entering the pop industry really young. "Golden children" who faced heavy pressure and became molded into the performers they are today, but he can relate to them, on some level of artistry as well.

Eman A S the ‘golden child’ thing disturbs me. I mean look how ppl treated Justin Bieber. He is make many mistakes and act like an ass sometimes but honestly we all act like idiots and do stupid things when we are young (I STILL do stupid stuff and I’m an ‘adult’ lol). JB suffers through the embarrassment of having his life totally open to the public so any mistake is heightened. I’m glad that bts really worked to build relationships and become a strong unit together because I think it helped all of them learn how to deal with all they have to deal with in a community sense of way. I think V is be okay. He is a person who seems to know who he is and has a strong bond with the rest of the members so he won’t feel alone or isolated. ❤️

    • @emanas2530
      @emanas2530 6 років тому +1

HOBI IS MY SUNSHINE _Exactly_ I think of Suga's poem in the last Run! BTS where he basically said "thank God there are seven of us, thank God we have each other" I don't want to spoil it if you haven't watched it, but I think they are very well aware of the unique pressures they face, and willing to keep each other in check and communicate openly.
Which gives them, and specifically had given Jungkook, a huge advantage over someone like the Biebs. But I'd imagine his ability to empathize would play into his fanboying over young artists his age, who'd also been found to be super talented, really young.
And I remember. When the Biebs was first blowing up, I remember saying that his songs were stupid, and I don't want some creepy older kid in a bowl cut calling me 'baby', because I was also stupid and young and didn't really think about how the song would have been written for him and how he was very much a talented cog in a crazy music industry. And as I grew up with him, I remember thinking some of the stuff he pulled was absurd, why'd he even think of doing it, but hearing grown-arse men and women -- adults! -- saying they wished Beiber was dead, kill Beiber give us back Bowie and whatnot.....for a time period people were acting like he was the literal Antichrist, and I never thought he deserved that.

To be honest although I think he is an amazing person, V is the only one in the group who makes me super uncomfortable because I can see certain things from him I don’t want to see esp when he is playing dump. Honestly I got goosebumps when you were talking about survival’s traits of V last time. I feel really bad not for him but for myself about projecting myself onto him, which is nonsense. He deserves the world and maybe the people who ridicule him are just putting their insecurity on him or seeing things they want to see from him. And it is not fair.
I am so lucky to find you guys and other fans here because you guys are my imaginary soul-sistas and my UA-cam therapists.

V & Jimin are the same age only 2 months apart. They are soulmate. RM takes care of V even he is the second youngest but actually he's the bangtan's baby. V is very emotional and very sensitive and RM knows it. That's why he cares so much to V. Jungkook is the youngest but he acts more hyungs to V. Everybody loves V and protect him a lot. V is BTS secret weapon.

I find myself so drawn to V's quirkiness, his creativity, and innocence. He's beautiful, but then so fascinating. His energy is so warm, and it makes you want to be his friend. I can relate to feeling like the odd one a lot of times in my life, and seeing the world in a different way. I think V would be fun to get to know, and create with. Btw, I'm an artist, poet, and musician as well so we could definitely connect in that way. I loved putting together homemade costumes and pretending I was different characters growing up so that's also something we have in common. I do consider him to be my "bias", although I also agree that each of the members has my heart in a different way. I'd love to have a one-on-one conversation with him till 4am, haha! :)

May I request you do a light-hearted video as well, for *V Week* ?
I don't know if you guys saw the last Run! BTS episode, but V's poem reminded me how much of a 'take-things-in-stride' guy V can be at his core.
It is why he likes playing characters, it is why he is _still_ so uniquely goofy, despite his maturity.
He isn't as much the type to deeply question his emotions and motivations as he is a _"very much in the present"_ kind of guy.
So if you haven't seen this video, may I suggest this 10 minute Squishy Min Yoongi video she made for Tae's B-Day?
    ua-cam.com/video/KjWXUGW0feA/v-deo.html
I don't know, in my opinion, she manages to get some of _the best_ clips, some of the most obscure, and it is always so obvious that she has such love for these guys. Good humored, and she really does understand different aspects of these guys' personalities; she's been ARMY since the beginning and it shows. She's also gotten better since her controversial Intro to each member series.......I like her light-hearted humor.
Personally, I think *V Week* wouldn't be truly complete without a bit of silliness. 'Cause they're all complex individuals, but humor is definitely a big part of V. The dude who says hello to seaweed, goodbye to costumed kangaroos, welcomes pimples, and whose 'ugly face' is the same face he pulls off when stage-crashing Ddaeng.

Agree with you! Taehyung's fun and unique personality is part of his charm and 매력, as Suga (2018 Festa), RM (his letter to Tae in Bon Voyage Hawaii) and everyone has said. It's a positive and beautiful part of him, just as all of his other elements. Highlighting one doesn't discredit or negate others; elements of a person are not mutually exclusive. We can celebrate one and everything! 💜

That's why we're launching the Patreon :) We're hoping the money from it along with the money from UA-cam will let one of us fly to the other once a month so we can still film and all that will change for the channel is our filming location. Odds are good I'll be moving a lot closer to her after I finish college (in June) so hopefully such a messy planning process won't go on for more than a year or so. We talk about it a bit more in the video where we asked everyone what they thought of us starting a Patreon if you're curious.

Appreciate your love for BTS and how thoughtful you are, but what are you referring to when you say "this hard time in his life"? It's ok to reflect and think about other people's lives, but I wish you guys would be more conscious of qualifying your commentary sometimes as your assumptions/own feelings/speculations/something you read somewhere, etc.--and not state as if you know, which none of the people outside of the members' private lives actually know, things about their inner lives and past lives. Thanks :)

Oh, I'm really sorry to hear that. I didn't know. I hope you can hear my feedback. I've noticed it not just in this but in other videos that sometimes you guys do talk about their private inner lives and histories in a way that feels presumptive/assumes their private authorship... Like I've already said, we're not them and don't know them personally, so I genuinely just hope you can be mindful of that.
