This video really says a lot about these magnificent sports cars. Pride in ownership may be unmatched. It’s a Goldilocks car, a perfect combination of emotional appeal and substance. There’s not another car between $100k and $200k I’d rather own. Thanks for making this video so those of us who couldn’t be there could share the experience.

An amazing show of spyders, and a good point made by Mike about the Porsche club thinking these are boxsters when in fact they are not, not many cars get this level of passion, and great seeing Roger Bailey as one of the CarGuys, great video.

OMG the Porsche Spyder by far the best looking Porsche on the road at the moment, my fav is 718 Spyder in Miami blue, 6 speed manual. Although i love all colors. What’s not to like, 4 liter mid engine 450 hp omg. Thanks for the lovely video enjoyed.
I am truly blessed just like you all to have many many cars that includes several supercars but I believe it needs to be said that the RS60 spyder that I have holds a special place in my heart. It is the car that I've owned now for the longest and it's a lifetime family member. I will never sell this car and I believe it's safe to say most of us that own a spyder feels this way. I wish I could have been there with you guys...
I too own an RS60 Spyder and just cannot bring myself to sell it. I now run a 981 Spyder as well in the same GT Silver and classic interior. People think I am mad for keeping the RS60, but I don't.

We had similar years ago with the B5 RS4 ! Very rare and special. A friend of mine Mike Wilds has a white 987 Spyder very very nice car. he’s still racing nearly touching 80 !
A truly epic event, and one that I would have absolutely loved to have taken part in with my 2021 718 Spyder! Nothing like that here in Canada I'm afraid. Sorry, but you’re ignoring how the bespoke deck-lid, front end styling, available carbon bucket seats, and the use of the 911 engine (981) transform this car far beyond what would be described as a “Boxster with a different roof”.

My question was genuine, I owned a Spyder it was sold to me at the dealership as a Boxster Spyder here in Oz and I thought that’s what I owned, till I watched Damien’s vid. Porsche Spyder, Porsche Boxster Spyder who cares as long as you enjoy the hell out of it - it’s a Porsche! It never ceases to amaze me how people are always trying to break themselves up into tribes based on mine is better than theirs. It doesn’t matter whether it’s Porsche v Lambo v Ferrari or Sailboats v Motor Cruisers we’re all just enjoying ourselves with likeminded petrolheads no matter what the badge says!

I have been at pains to point out that my saying it’s a “Boxster with a different roof” is absolutely not a slur - I love the Spyder and genuinely plan to own one. All this badge snobbery and brand revelry baffles me - people will think of any old reason to try to feel superior, it’s pretty sad really; I appreciate all kinds of different cars, bikes, brands etc. BTW re the nomenclature: the first one was called, and badged, as “Boxster Spyder”. The next was called the Boxster Spyder but pretty sure it was physically badged “Porsche Spyder” and the latest one is referred to only as “Porsche Spyder”. The owners seem to have crawled a little too far up their backsides in the hope that this special status distances their car from the Boxster (with which it shares well over 90% of its parts) and increases it’s value 😂

It was even officially CALLED the Boxster Spyder until the 718 nomenclature debacle to differentiate the 4 cylinder cars etc. and had “Boxster Spyder” badges on the 987 cars… so are the older ones with “Boxster Spyder” actually on the car/logbook now not really Boxsters if you’re in the Spyder Club or are they not really Spyders? 🤔 I honestly don’t get why owners are so pissy about it.
