I have her! I love her so much. The price is definitely...less than good. I'm not a small child so the accessories are obviously not for me. The doll though? One of my FAVORITES. She is so so so cute and fits right in with the Creepover crew. Bonus: I am practicing my doll braiding skills on her incredible hair.

i got her at the World Famous Frank and Sons in City of Industy in California at the beginning of summer. They are the place that always seem to get the Monster High dolls early, and where some of the California early finds come from.
Glad you reviewed her. I've been wanting her, but I don't care for all the extra hair-play stuff so I'm not sure if the price justifies it for me. However, it is lagoona... and she has a robe...

For your knowledge: Barbie didn’t use Poly Hair until 2017. ALL Barbie dolls from before that had Saran and Kanekalon hair. So you were almost a decade off. xD it’s alright tho

I said Saran and kanekalon… I didn’t mention poly at all in that part? “Most would have this type or kanekalon which feels decently similar” and then I move on and explain that it’s better than poly which a lot of MH dolls now have. That was a wildly different sentence and thought. I don’t see the issue with generalizing. Saying “before 2017” would be confusing to people who aren’t confidently familiar with IDing Barbie’s while 2010 (and before) dolls have an incredibly clear stylistic difference that people can easily spot
Great review! I have this girl too :) I wasn't jazzed about her accessories either, but I love her paint and hair! Have you noticed her hair is super staticky? This one specifically poofs with static electricity all the time, unlike other dolls, no idea why. Anyway, I love this girl still :)

Base dolls are g3 by far. It’s actually not close which I’m surprised by. I was originally a g1 collector and they’re how I started collecting dolls. I do think the concepts and outfits are overall better in g1 but we’re only one year into g3 so i think they just need more time :)
I don’t super like them but I know of them - I believe I show them in some of my thrift videos but those may have been LDD’s only (I think it was both?). I think Dollect has a guide on them (at least it was being worked on)
Yeah, as a mom, that waxy hair "chalk" would be a big no-no. Can just imagine it all over the furniture and bed linens! I love her long Saran hair and robe, but $35 is too much just for the kinda not so great extra play items.
$35 is pretty steep for what you get outside of the doll. That saran hair though. I LOVE hairplay and am always saddened when I love a doll, but then she has polypropelene hair and so she sits on a shelf.

I love the shell compact and her clothes but I can do without anything else, would've loved this to be a fashion pack instead
