They’re no better than GM nowadays if as good. Honda has gone downhill and GM is better than they used to be. If you want longevity go with Toyota or even Mazda.

The New Equinox and Terrain need to be upgraded to the 2.0 L Turbo found in the Cadillac XT4. The Gear Shifter need to be moved back to the center console. The Shark Fin needs to be eliminated and bring back chrome around the front grill , roof rails and side windows. Polished Aluminum Wheels would be greatly appreciated.
The 2.0T engine would be a great addition to the Equinox lineup. They could even gatekeep it behind a top trim level. I really like the way they have transitioned the styling to a boxier look -- making the Equinox and Traverse look like the Tahoe's little brothers while the Blazer and Trailblazer use the smoother rounder styling. The 2.0T would put the Equinox at the top of my shopping list in this segment.
The Chevy Equinox Plus is a PHEV and is available in China and other foreign markets. It achieves 96 miles on a single charge! Sadly, GM USA refuses to bring the car to the US, stating that it's not right for the US market. Laughable.

They mention all the car makers with Hybrids... BRAVO! That's why of all of tthem, ACURA has missed the Yacht , not just the boat! Both the new 25 RDX and the 25 MDX should have had Hybrids!! Incredibly, Acura had a 2018-2020 (3 years) of a MDX Sport Hybrid!! Then dropped it in 2021, redesigned the MDX in 22 (I have one - lease expiring now, I truly LIKE it (I reserve Love for people) has been totally troube free for over 3 years. Acura has one of the best, if not the best AWD drive systems out there. I'm toying with a 24 (if you can still find one) or 25 CRV Sport Hybrid Touring to replace the MDX, not really needing a 3 Row SUV. If Acura had produced a HYBRIDIZED 25 RDX and the new Touch screen too, Total No Brainer. Great vehicle , Sporty, well mannered, roomier than the CRV, quick as hell, and good repair records. I don't and many others Get It, ACURA ???

@@dwnshft Possibly to make the upsell? I put my wife in a 24 Crosstrek and it does SO good practically driving itself. It's 2025 step it up GM. Adaptive Cruise + Lane Centering/Keep Assist that doesn't ping pong you is a must.

According to JDPower, the Chevy is more reliable. But, resale value is indeed better for Honda.
What information are you reading on the Equinox? The redesigned AWD model has an 8 speed transmission, not a 6.
The Equinox RS DOES have lane keep.

The Honda hybrid powertrain is super smooth. The transition from electric to gas and vice versa is almost imperceptible.
