- The Adventure Force Aeon Pro may be the blaster that completely buries NERF. I just bought my aeon pro today and first of all WOW this thing is great! It actually holds 13 darts not 12 and the mega darts didnt shoot too well (the new ones)
@@karmagrey69420 Any of the megas tear open on you? Mine does that a lot. once that happens you're better off just throwing the megas for all the good it'll do. I really need to get around to making my own...
I'd say the final nail in the coffin will be when they inevitably release a flywheel-powered blaster, meant to be modded. It's not even an if anymore, as much as it's a when.
Dart zone has seriously upped their game, and are doing fantastic!

If you didn't see it yet, go watch Foamblast's last This Week in Nerf video. "Conquest Pro" was registered as a trademark for a "foam dart launcher" by the same company. My money says it's a flyeheeler.

Its on shelves in NJ finally. Bought mine 2 days ago. Awesome blaster. I just wish it had sling mounts. Guess I am going to have to run a leg holster.
Used this at an SWNC War on Saturday. This blaster and user practice makes it become something to rival players who rock Caliburns, Talonclaws, and all the other sweet modded/3D printed blasters my buddies brought out that day!
It’s not that the prime is tough, it’s just that it takes a lot of strength to pull back. The area between my thumb and pointer finger actually started getting raw after using it. But if you keep practicing, your body will adjust and learn to do it super fast!

Prophecies and other Retaliator clones with short-dart mag adapters were a thing for YEARS before the SPAMF came out. (Also Chris Cartaya's Sharpfire came out first)

@@choccymilklord59 I still disagree. The Spamf is a short dart only, and super tiny, this thing is a non-modular Ret.
Josh Bland just bcs its the best thing to compare does not mean its a great comparison. The aeon is much different in terms of shell design and has its own caveats.

AF Waffles don't do as well with sealed breeches. The blue dart head rubs on to the barrel too much. Though still I'd like to see it perform vs Pro darts, Jet Quikdarts, DZP Bamboos and Worker Gen3's.

Popped up on my autoplay and not sure if I ever commented on this one but, 2 words: Sealed Breach. That is what actually lets other ammo types or just other things get fired out of this. Also, just like the Nexus, Conquest, and other sealed breach springers, shove a cosmetic barrel extension tube on the end and you can shoot stuff like Mega XL off of it.
I actually really like using full length with this guy and I’ll tell you why. My main is a stock Perces with a hopper extension and I run this with 6 dart mags and the barrel removed. It’s perfect for when I need to place a sniper shot or my primary goes down for any reason.

I got the aeon pro and it was nice except the grip was really uncomfortable and the primer was difficult to use. On the other hand, I got the nexus pro and the grip was great and it was really fun and easy to use (especially with the use of its sturdy stock) not to mention it looks cooler
Aeon pro is exciting, I might pick one up. Hopefully we get half dart internal mags on some blasters in the future. Love me some internal mags

Went to Walmart today and picked this up, and was wondering if you did a review on it. still haven't found the nexus but god damn this thing is amazing, it's perfect, I actually cut up some waffle head darts and shot them at close range and broke the darts.... I love this thing so much

minor downside (to both Aeon and Nexus)
the dart fit in the breech is a little loose, if you move around a bunch with it primed, the chambered dart can sometimes fall out the barrel...

I found one of these in a Goodwill for $2.00 (USD) and I love it.
It will also shoot old school suction cup darts, whistlers, taggers, Buzzbee Extreme (REALLY well), X-Shot domes, etc. I LOVE that muzzle break!!!
I agree so much so that I picked up one for my first foray into 150 fps. And then I realized that I must make the spring weaker because I couldn’t prime it. 😂
Idk. If you hold the trigger down on the Nexus Pro while you double or triple prime, you get a 2 or 3 round shotgun effect without having to hit the reset button. Its feels tactical af. Give it a try if you haven't before.

Okay, Question? Will the mag adapter work in other blasters like standard nerf, more? Cause it works with talons and katanas so it seems like a pretty good mag adapter
Having got my hands on one of these, I have to say the prime actually is pretty wicked. It is smooth, but it is beefy. Admittedly I am badly out of shape and have a bad elbow, but others like me might want to consider this before deciding whether to spring for this or the Nexus. Great blaster though, hard to fault it for doing what it's supposed to do.
you might wanna get a nexus. the pump action is quick and easy (if you ignore the fact that it takes a ton of strength to prime it), and it’s more of a comfortable prime as well.

I really enjoy the Spamf as a sidearm as opposed to the Aeon as a hand-cannon primary.
About time with the review, I bought on Sunday just to get the mag adapter and short dart mag to go with a modded Longshot
Recently got back into the nerf hobby, got a Walmart gift card for Christmas and bought this right when I got home from the Christmas party. I love it
it's ability to shoot anything is amazing i am so glad i learned it because i can shoot rival with it when i'm to lazy to load mags

The one advantage to the Nexus is that spring swap. If you know you're gonna have to do that a lot, that's a compelling reason to buy a Nexus. Also if you're the Anti-Walcolm and just like rifles lol

A nice HvZ secondary to a full auto primary, use your less accurate full auto blaster most of the time but if your primary jams, you need to hit something far away, or if you need to use a mega dart to take out a special zombie you can switch to this.
I bought this with the hundred round reload and I've been shooting this gun for a few weeks now and gosh I love it
I don’t know how this works with the aeon, but on the nexus you can shotgun it by half-priming first or by holding the trigger before the first pump.
I'm in Australia so neither Dartzone or Adventure Force operate here, so the only sellers of these have to buy them from Walmart and ship them. Even then though, this thing is great value; same price as the RRP of the Infinus at $80 AUD (basically this here is what the Nexus is in the states). I'm glad I got my Nexus though; pump prime, easy access to spring, and I like my shoulder stocks.
I would respectfully disagree with this is better than the Nexus. In price, yes. But for me thats about it. Performance is on par, but I've never been a fan of top prime blasters as my main. But I will agree it's a great pistol.
Well I live in NZ and paid twice as much for nexus pro (for shipping and taxes) but I ain't regretting one little bit.

I’m so glad I got an aeon pro. It’s easily my highest hitting blaster. The only sad part, I couldn’t find any ammo packs to go with it, so I’m stuck with only the twelve half darts.

I bought an Aeon today and am very happy about it! However I do have a question about it, I have to save on space around my room and normally take the mags off my blasters. I've noticed that like other blasters, I have to prime to remove the mag, so I've been wondering if it's safe to dry fire it. If not, is there a way around this?
Should be fine but to be safe put your finger over the end of the barrel to make a seal and that'll give you some slow-down on the plunger head moving forward.

As I am the Foam flinging hobbyists, I gonna get one as well as nexus pro as soon as they available in Thailand. My most favorite blaster is Pharoah and entire Ultra series (no joking)
The blaster is exciting and all, but the real highlight of the vid is that Kirby shirt.
Mine's got a real tough prime--I pretty much have to hook/wedge my hand in front of the priming grip and prime by pushing the rest of the blaster through with the other hand. I'm not the strongest, but I handed it to the wife and she's completely unable to prime it, so I feel for those kids who get one of these--which will be a fair number, since I think this is my 'standard xmas gift' for friends/family this year. Time to bulk up, I guess. :)
When you say "kids", you mean 14+, right?
I am definitely satisfied with my Æon Pro. I plan on getting a couple more as loaners for future use.
That said, I prefer the Nexus still for my personal use. Unless my local war lets me run an Æon with a Shield sometimes, I don’t see myself using it as often. The shotgun and top off will be fantastic with a shield though.

You should do a comparison between these, the bamboo half darts, and worker gen 3s.
I remember reading about using nerf mags and loading it with 2 short darts per row and that a nexus pro could shot gun with that loaded mag without issue. Now I'm thinking of doing that with this thing so I have a nice compact shotgun on demand.

Love it but i still preferred the nexus pro because picatinny rail looks awesome. Makes me feel like a rambo / operator. I like this one too though.
How well does this shoot with standard elite darts?
Anyone else have an Aeon Pro and the slide just kind of has a lot of give? it seems like it's only being held close by the o ring meeting the barrel, and if that friction gives it can slide free from fully closed to about an inch open. I'm wondering if mine is a lemon.

The son pro has the main feature of the Infunus (I think I misspelled that), but is better in every way except for fire rate and is only 25$. That is absolutely insane.

I found this blaster at a Mississauga Walmart for $20CAD and it's great, it's actually shooting 150ft angled!! But I think I'll prefer the Nexus Pro more cause I need a stock and a pump grip, I find the prime to be ridiculously heavy (For good reason) and it's so bad that my mother can't even prime it. Besides, I like the look of the Nexus Pro more, and I love that it comes with Full and Half length darts. I haven't been seeing the Aeon Pro since and I haven't seen ANY Pro Dart refills or Nexus Pro's in my area yet, I've been looking every day or anytime I'm near a walmart, I also haven't found a Villainator yet which makes me sad
