I noticed that you do not prefer this microphone very much in your live broadcasts. what is the reason? Did you not like this microphone or discovered a better option?
Love the combo when I’m not anchored to a desk and I’m moving around but sound is even better from a boomed mic like the RØDE NTG 5 which is what I use at the desk set up.
Sounds great to me. Thanks for the test. When you switched to the lav it was different >I liked the lav after you made the adjustments not sure if it was better, but I could definitely use either solution.
3:10 Yes, you are :) I am curious about this for certain kinds of video recordings, and streaming from other places than my PC or with something where I won't be sitting near the microphone while doing things. I preferred the HS2 sound, and it will be much more consistent as it's always there in the same place in relation to your mouth.
How would this be for streaming in twitch? Does it operate through just a motherboard? Currently have a podcaster but I'm sick of having a mic in my face.
Can you give me some feedback on this. I have both the We Go and the HS2 and having trouble getting audio through Zoom. In testing it later, I realized I had to choose USB Audio Advice as the microphone and that made the WeGo work. However, when we plugged in the HS2 into the WeGo transmitter, we could not hear it on Zoom.
Hey there! Did you do anything special to make the microphone work by any chance? I just got mine and it doesn't work on any of my recorders (Wireless Go, Zoom H1, & computer) Appreciate your time! and great video :)
theC47 Same thing as everything else. It doesn't show any bars raising when i speak into it. All my other mics work just fine though and show the sound bars moving. Guess I'm reaching out to rode! Really wanted to use this this week. Thanks for the reply!
Does the headset mic cause any sound when you move your head around or when you walk ? I already have a headset mic but it makes odd sounds when I move my head or walk .
@@theC47 Thank you ..1)How many years / months did you use it for ? 2) Every time you use it, do you have to spend a lot of time fine tuning the exact position of the mic to make sure that it does not capture a lot of breathing sound or other unpleasant sounds that come with the mic being so close to the mouth ?
Thank you so much for doing this. I've been wondering if that headset would work withe the wireless go before buying it.
Sorry I missed the live stream. The mic sounded fabulous!

@@theC47 Hmm, makes sense. Thanks for your answer, I really appreciate it.

Dunno if you mentioned it anywhere in the video, but is this a UNIDIRECTIONAL or OMNIDIRECTIONAL mic?

Looks great, sounds great...but a little pricey @$300 big ones.
Dear theC47, did you modify the HS2 connection?. In your video it's different to the one I bought from rode (with sennheiser connector type)

It would be great but I would use it with the RODE wireless GO and feed directly into camera.

Is there any OUTDOOR test of this mic anywhere?
Are you still using the headset microphone?

Appreciate your time! and great video :)
No. I use mine on a regular basis and have no issues.
theC47 dang. Guess mine is defective. Thanks for the help! 😁
OMGbugs - Macro Photography I would reach out to RODE. Tat product is generally rock solid. What happens when you go direct to a camera?

Hey how do you hear audio wearing this? and how is the filtering for background noise? Also what video camera were you using?
How did you connect to the Rhode Wirless Go? I thought the HS2 has a locking AUX?
The locking nut I think is removable
Thank you! very inform... be safe!
thank you !
That autofocus is fast!
Lav Go was my fav 🙌🏾✅

Not if it's put on correctly. A loop in the cable can help just like when using a lav mic.

I would look for videos on headset mic placement. It should be off to the side and not right in front of your mouth.
sounds good
Sounds good! I'm sold.
