For me, I have to say it depends on how I feel on the day, but the Craft-A-Flower sets, or any layering die-cut flower set will always have a place close to my heart. Unbelievably elegant. The flowers really pop on the dark cardstock.

What a tough choice! They are both serene, calming, showing warmth and love. Sadly, we always need to have a stash of sympathy cards. I know I am incapable of creating one when sorrowing for the passed love one, acquaintance, work associate, etc. Crazy, I know. But creating a sympathy card for a specific person is mind blowingly hard for me
I am inspired to try with tissue paper. I don't have crepe paper on hand, that will have to wait.
I agree, tissue paper could definitely work well for that softer look too. I'd be interested to know how it 'stands' up to the test of time. Have fun!

I love them both, Therese - having said that, I wonder where in the world I could find that lovely crepe paper? I've only ever seen it cut and rolled for party decor! They are really soft and beautiful!

It was from Ellen Hutson, but I did also find it at Amazon and linked it in the description (not sure if it's the Aussie one or not, but at least it will show you which one I used and this brand is divine).
Two stunning cards Therese, very hard to choose between them but I think it’s the crepe paper one for me. And actually it was wonderful to see you use crepe paper as I have a stash of some heavy weight crepe paper that I must get out and play with…. There goes the housework 😅! I haven't done any yet but layering seems complicated without a distinct indication of which layer goes where after everything is cut out!
If you get a chance to try one you will see how easily they come together and the depth is great when you add different colours of cardstock too. Sometimes I just don't feel like colouring and these are a great option for something a little different. The new versions with the 'key and arrow' have definitely been a game changer. Hope this helps.
