I agree shut offs at the toilet is a must. Great informative video. William would you buy that unit again?

Thank you! I love the Riverstone - you have to have the mindset that’s it’s a “camper” and not a “stick built home” lol

I've only had the slight leak issue, somewhere from the pedal area, can't get close enough to see yet, as mine is against the wall on that side. Any tips to stop the trickle leaks?

The last time that happened to me I had to replace that same part on our units because sometimes it would just leak on the floor and other times it’ll run and fill the toilet up. You probably have the same piece that needs to be replaced on yours.

Talking about 25 yrs ago equipment was made better, I've got a hot water heater at the cabin that was made in 1971 and still going strong, granted it is only a 10 gallon and used only periodically but things were definitely made better back then..maybe take a old one apart and see if there's a weak swing in it or maybe try some sorta spray lube around button.

Gotta love quality made equipment from back in the day!
My plan is to take it all apart one of these days and check every inch out to see what I come up with or just buy a new toilet lol

The only thing I can think of is maybe pushing the level down too far. Just a guess ,I’ve never had that problem.

We’ve tried barely pushing it down and it still happens to us - we maybe jinxed lol.
We hope you never have this problem because it’s horrible!

Best thing you can do is replace all Dometic products when they fail with a different brand. Dometic used to be the gold standard for quality and longevity but now they don’t make their products to last. Go with Thetford.

Thanks for the comment - we haven’t heard from you in a while - hope all is well! Never heard of Thetford.. we’ll have to check it out! Thx!
