Good for you and your mom enjoying the song. Actually it's exactly like ZhouShen to act nerves before a performance. He said he got nervous easily. Although he performed on stage hundreds of times, he still felt nervous. It's because he cared so much in every single one of his performance. As a singer (or performer), he thought he owed that to all those who like listening to him sing. So, he must give them his best in each performance. The nervousness came from the drive to perform the best.

If you like somthing interesting and fun to watch about Zhou Shen. I would like to recommend 秦美案，拜見小師父 (Come to meet a little master). it is a traditional Beijing Opera. He was acting as a judge for those who brought cases to the court for justification in the old day. Before this performance, he was required to meet a little master to learn the skills and vocals in a week. It is beyond our imagination.
