If you heat the wire up red hot, then cool it, pickle it to remove firescale, then you have very pliable wire. You will damage your fingers using hardened wire like this. Jewelers always use 'dead soft' wire that has been annealed or heat treated to soften it for shaping with hands. Don't abuse your fingers or you will have arthritic hands used up before their time. All tools have a life span.

I wonder if a copper spiral like this could be used for induction heating of graphite to operate stirling hot gas pistons on a stirling V-6 hot gas engine? With a current adjuster like a throttle you could twist or like a gas peddle to increase the voltage to the coil to generate more heat from the graphite to make the stirling hot gas engine run faster? I think I'll follow Reinhard Stenjeks measurement, he said many use the egyptian cubit for coils to use in OG'S to get maximum energy output

You could use a small bench vice with smooth jaws to hold the coil while you add orbits.

copper is highly conductive and the spiral directs which way you want the energy. Either flowing in or flowing out.
