I saw them on that tour too, fantastic show, what a line-up! Right up there with Cannibal Corpse, Dying Fetus and Necrophagist, who went on tour together around that same time. Great memories!
lol, I remember when I was 18 and we had tickets to see trivium, anyway there was this record shop we wanted to get some music for the car and there was this HUGE line, it was line 50 feet of kids, all lining up, we walked right past them and said were just here to buy music, so we got let in and we walked around for a while, and god forbid were playing in the store, one of their songs, anyway we walked around for a bit and there were 5 blokes sat down by this table, and OMG totally this was god forbid, a band I had no idea about. LOL I was like this song is mint, who are they?....."mate... thats them!".....................HI! lol. So yeah just totally grabbed one of their albums and had them sign it n paid for it lol.
@@commandconquerfitness1506 Bro I remember being 15 and playing the intro (The End of the World) so fucking loud on my Walkman before track meets lol such nostalgia
The Constitution of Reason, Determination and Equilibrium our my favorite God Forbid records. I loved this band so much one of the best bands of "TNWOHM" scene.
+OneHeckofaPrizeFighter it's on Google Play now. I was also frustrated that it wasn't on there but it's up now. Not sure about iTunes... But I would imagine so.
It's depressing that this has so few views. Excellent writing on an iconic album.
agree
The album is playing itself out right now, in real life. So there's that, at least!
Far too many people lack a good ear for musical composition and few like metal music in any genre.
What a killer metal album! One of the best of Metalcore!!!
I met the band at the merch booth at my first metal concert when I was 15. Lamb of God, God Forbid, Children of Bodom, Municipal Waste. Spectacular.

This sounds like such a badass lineup
@@johnleschak4605 shit lineup there,buddy
SO how many of you notice how relevant these lyrics are in these times? This album was a warning to those whom still sleep.
Very few have any idea how mind-expanding and thought-provoking metal composition is.
Now look lol anyone over 40 saw this coming but could do nothing to stop it
50 minutes and 21 seconds of bad ass metal.thanks god forbid.still to this day🤘🤘🤘
After buying this album I got to see them maybe a year later with trivium in the UK, 06? Just incredible, aging like a fine wine boys
Most underrated band! Saw them live...been hooked ever since!
32:44 starts of an epic musical moment.
One of my all time favorite albums
They were fantastic, what happened to them? They were the next best trivium band, if not better
The intro and the end of the world are timeless masterpeices and this album will be a future metal classic
Yes it will🤘🤘
Their best album.
John Berry I prefer Earthsblood but very close...
definitely!
Sorry, Gone Forever is the band's tightest work. Then this album.
God Forbid Kicks Ass!! Period!!
Listen to every day.
Whole damned world is sleeping on this album! Talk about missing out!
BEST FUCKING ALBUM.WELL, MAYBE NOT COMPARED TO DETERMINATION.BUT THIS IS SOME SERIOUS RIFF WRITING,SIGNATURE STUFF!
God damn that opening track tho
Fucking raw
@@commandconquerfitness1506 Bro I remember being 15 and playing the intro (The End of the World) so fucking loud on my Walkman before track meets lol such nostalgia
Brett Crawford bro I feel that hardcore. To me, the end of the world is the epitome of heavy metal at its best.
They were/still are excellent.
Yes they are🤘🤘
Love this album, sick riffs bass and drums. And VOCALS
Always banging my head on my way to work in the morning.
Pure crushing sickness!
One of the most underrated Core bands, legends of Jersey
some of the baddest shit of my youth.
The Constitution of Reason, Determination and Equilibrium our my favorite God Forbid records. I loved this band so much one of the best bands of "TNWOHM" scene.
wow, I think those are the weakest... all the albums before that are just pure GOLD.
@@eliasgarciahernandez4284 first 4 album are really raw then I feel they got to into a new sound on the last 2 albums I feel it killed the band.
this is one of the few perfect albums for me. always amazing
Probably my favourite album that year!
One of the best concept albums ever written. My opinion, of course. Right up there w Zao's Funeral of God.
Their Best Album!!! \m/
Na, Gone Forever, then this album.
One of the most underrated modern metal bands, though I guess at this point they aren't modern anymore
Awesome album!
liked the album and bought it ! thanks
Alright it is 8 PM on a friday night and i need to finish a project so i have the weekend. This better get me through it!
These guys were no less than fucking amazing live. That is all
METALCORE!!!
One of the first physical albums I bought back in the day. Well worth the money.
I fucking hate the fact that you cannot find this album on iTunes.
+Mortuus Sum Or on Google Music it seems. That is really bizarre.
+OneHeckofaPrizeFighter it's on Google Play now. I was also frustrated that it wasn't on there but it's up now. Not sure about iTunes... But I would imagine so.
Do not put ads in the middle of a song please. Otherwise good
funny how every bigger metal band around this time straight ripped off godforbid style
andrew corrales it’s metalcore bro. It’s not uncommon that a lot of bands in a certain era breakout with a similar sound.
Funny how they went to djent later
The band break up I feel for many reasons money touring and poor album sales.
God Forbid was one of the founding bands of MetalCore and still one of the sickest!
23:55
39:40
bueno con cojones
spotify
Good band but gone forever was a far better album.
I concur! this album is second.
