Some tips for making the best blade: Do what it says in the directions, heat up the resin container in hot water. Then shake it for at least a minute. Because of the low viscosity the metallic flakes will continually settle in the bottom and you'll end up with a clear looking blade. Cut your spout exactly how long it needs to be to reach the bottom of the mold. It's too long as-is and makes too many bubbles. DO NOT ADD DUST INTO THE MOLD LIKE THE INSTRUCTIONS SAY! After you remove the blade sprinkle the powder on and buff the blade. This works WAY better. You can seal the blade with a topcoat of your choice but you don't have too. I've noticed if you put the dust in first it keeps the resin from curing properly and makes it weaker in places where the dust accumulates in the swirls. Sunlight works best but the Dollar Tree UV nail curing device x2 (one on each side) will cure it in 30 minutes.
I just got this one today. It's so pretty. I can't wait to make it. I do think I love seeing all the different mushrooms being made at the end, as much as the rest of the video. All the different color combinations. Thanks for sharing. Oh, before I forget to ask again, I didn't see the link to your Facebook in the description, am I just overlooking it? (I do that a lot, sadly) 😅

Lol funny how he says "It's fine mom, you tried your best" What a wise kid.
Mine are so hard to remove from the molds and keep breaking at the hilt. Any advice? Yours came out so smoothly.
Keep them outside for wayyyy longer than it tells you. If it says 20 mins, try to double that.
ok your kid was so sweet and encouraging
She's always so positive and supportive lol
Great idea with the mushrooms! I love it!

@@KitchenBricks Thanks so much!
Have you considered adding resin to the stands to give them support.
I hadn't but that's a really good idea!
Lol. I have a growing mushroom army too lol
If you are following me on Facebook, feel free to upload pictures so I can see them.
Do you happen to have a spare mushroom mold? I got several of the lord of the rings forges but my wife woukd LOVE mushrooms!
For you mushrooms you can put fairy lights in them before curing them and they become a new set of Lights
ooooh good idea!
Why didn’t you film taking it out of the mold?
I did, its around the 7:30 mark
Where did you get the mushroom mold?
It's from the Miniverse Lifestyle Series 2. There are two mushroom molds (they are the same mold but different resin comes with them)
Rip off mine didn’t come with a map!!😢
Use color resin then bubble will not be as visible.
