This compilation screams for a bonus disc of extras. Many of the Destroyer/Creatures and Gene Vault songs would make a good addition. maybe a track or two from the Millenium concert as well. By the way, your artwork is fantastic and fits in with many of their recent releases.
Love this idea. I’d swap out Plaster Caster and put in I Stole Your Love bc they opened with that a lot. Also I’d add I Still Love You from Unplugged bc I think Paul slays that one! Great video

Good compilation as well, although, and this may not be obvious, but Rocket Ride of all songs is a noticeable omission. A studio track from alive 2 instead of a studio track from smashes, an awful song, makes more sense, especially when you consider that it is the only top 40 hit from Kiss that you did not include. Rocket Ride actually charted all the way at number 39 on the Hot 100. Also, it’s a much needed Ace track in a track listing of almost all Paul and Gene songs. Here’s mine. Cheers

this is the 50 song 3 disc version. I also have a 100 song 5 disc Boxed Set version. Nothing saying it has to be 50 songs and that they can’t do both. A nice 5 cd / 10 lp boxed set would be very cool indeed.

Great choices! Reminds me a bit of my self-made Kiss comp from a few years ago, a 6 CD 100-track set I called 100°, with the same criteria as yours but with extraneous alternate single mixes and edits and live versions that were only available as bonus tracks and such, to appeal not just to casual fans but to hardcore fans too. Each disc used each of the 6 makeup designs. Turned out pretty cool, but yours is very well done and would appeal more broadly than mine I think. Great job though! I love making my own compilations too
First, you did a GREAT JOB with this. Just fantastic! Now I don’t necessarily agree with all of your choices but I do at about 90% of the songs. I actually already made my own 50 for 50 playlist. However I made two versions. One all live and another studio. Some songs are the same but some are different which erases the issue of leaving some great songs off. KISS should do that; Come out with two versions and also bundle them together fora top 50 studio and another 50 live. People can buy either or both.

Great! Always enjoy your content on KISS. Not being critical, just offering ideas. I would say reverse everything. Start with monster and sonic boom. Trim those to one each and go backward ending with debut. You could add a couple more from dtk or others with suggested omissions. If you get the job please let me help. We can argue all night lol. Nice layout

My only question is why nothing from the studio side of alive 2. Maybe larger than life, rocket ride,or all American man...alllg under rated songs.
Agree. Rocket Ride was a top 40 charting song and a much needed Ace track. Add this and take off X In Sex.

I was surprised there was not a 50th anniversary box set of the first album released yesterday. Kinda disappointed.
